Time goes on and Adair stays behind, still healing, while the newly formed Fellowship moves on. Adair seeks the company of Elrond, and they become fast friends. However, they find themselves slowly falling for each other. WIll Elrond go against everything he believes in and fall for a mortal? Or will he walk away, never knowing what could have been? (Note: None of the characters accept for Adair belong to me. They belong to J.R.R. Tolkien. Also, I know Elrond's wife didn't die, but for the purpose of this fan fiction she did.)
