My body ached and my legs hurt. I had gotten another beating from some kids at school, and I didn’t do anything to them. They just randomly come up to me, call me names, knock my books out of my hands, then when I’m on the floor picking them up they kick me.
I haven’t told anybody. I could told some kids at the group home. But I’m not close to anyone. The only way I can get it out is writing it down, but I never have enough courage to show anyone. Sadly I had to keep it all bottled up.
I open up my journal where I wrote down all of my troubles. It helps me vent sometimes, but most of the times it only makes me cry.
Those kids at school are so cruel to me.
They harass me daily.
They beat me up in the hallways.
They knock my books out of my hands.
It’s not fair.
I didn’t do anything.
All I did was show up.
Nothing more to that.
I’m not a fighter.
I’m not one to cause trouble.
I’m just a girl.
With no care in the world.
I just want to fit in.
And finally be the same.
But that can never happen.
