When they were walking down the hallway to Rose's room, they were stopped by Rose's doctor. She had information for them from the tests they performed on Rose.
"So all her scans looked good. She appears to have a case of amnesia but we believe that she will gain back her memories within the next few weeks. The only thing we can't figure out is why she is mute. The parts of her brain that deal with motor function are fine so we are unsure why she's not talking. Hopefully she will feel comfortable speaking again soon. We think she is healthy enough to go home now, just don't let her do anything strenuous for a while. You can bring her back in two weeks to get the stitches in her scalp removed. We are prescribing her some pain medications because she will have severe headaches for a few days. She also may be sleepier than usual as her body will need more sleep to better heal itself." The doctor told them.
"That's mostly good right? Wonderful! Thank you for taking care of her so well." Both boys bowed in gratitude.
"Rosie! How are you jagiya?" Taehyung perked up, seeing her smiling when they walked in.
She reached for him and made grabby hands. Tae picked her up as she wrapped around him like a monkey.
"I have a few phone calls to make then we can head home alright? Sound good?" JK said, walking out into the hallway as Tae coddled over Rose and Yeonjun dug into his noodles.
He first called Jin to let him know they were coming home that afternoon.
"Annyeonghaseyo Hyung." JK said when Jin picked up.
"Hey Gguk, how's Rose doing?" Jin asked, sounding hopeful.
"She's awake and the doctors say she is healthy enough to come home, but I need to have you get everyone prepared for when we come home. She has some amnesia and is very nervous around others. So when we come home if you could have everyone be calm and quiet and let her come to you when she's ready. I don't want her to feel overwhelmed or cornered alright?" Jungkook said a little firm.
"You sound like such a protective boyfriend right now Kookie, its kinda cute. I'll tell everyone to be careful. No problem. Anything else?" Jin laughed.
"Yeah... The other thing is, well she's mute. The doctors said her brain function is normal and they don't know why she's not talking, but they hope she will gain her speech back soon."

"That is strange. Wonder if she's just reliving some past trauma?" Jin mumbled half to himself.
"Another thing, could you go pick up TXT? I think it'd be best for Yeonjun to stay with us for a few days since Rose is the most comfortable around him. I thought we could invite the others so that they don't miss him too much and vice versa. Is that ok?" JK asked him hopefully.
"I have no issues with them staying for a few days. Maybe we could have some bonding time." Jin suggested.
"That's what I was thinking too, thank you hyung."
"Of course, bring our girl home safe Kook."
After his call with Jin, he called Soobin to let him know Jin was coming to get them. Then he went to fill out Rose's discharge papers and headed back to the room.
"Alright everyone! We get to go home now!" Jungkook shouted as he walked in.
"Really? Wow, are you ready Rose?" Yeonjun asked her, giving her arm a light squeeze.
She stared at him for a second before slowly nodding her head with a tiny smile.
"Oh by the way, Yeonjun, you and the others will be staying with us for a few days until Rose gets adjusted to being home again." Kookie told the younger boy.
"Really? Thank you hyung!" Yeonjun exclaimed in excitement.
Before they left the hospital Taehyung did Rose's hair. He sang to her softly as he brushed her long black hair and Rose smiled, closing her eyes and enjoying the process. His long nimble fingers braided her hair delicately down her back to now cover her wounded scalp. He made it looser than normal to not put as much tension on her scalp.
They had a car delivered to the hospital and Taehyung drove them home. Yeonjun rode shotgun and chatted with him. Rose dozed in the back seat with Kookie, her head resting on his broad shoulders. He gently rubbed circles on the back of her hand while quietly humming to himself.
"Rose, baby, time to get up now. We're home." JK whispered to her when Tae pulled into their driveway.
She sniffed and softly shook her head, removing any remaining sleep. Then she looked at Jungkook with a slightly worried expression. He could read her eyes better than anyone so he knew she was a little anxious to see the others.
"Baby it's gonna be ok, we will be by your side the whole time alright? If at any point you get overwhelmed, just squeeze our hands twice like this." He gently demonstrated by quickly squeezing her small hand. "Think you can do that?" He asked her with a confident smile.
Rose nodded her head and unbuckled her seatbelt. She let out a big sigh and opened the car door.
When Yeonjun got out of the car Rose attacked him with a back hug, pressing her face into his shoulder blades.
"Hey, you'll be alright. You know everyone, they are like your brothers. We all love you, remember that Rose." Yeonjun told her, grabbing her hands and pulling her around to face him and kissing her forehead.
They walked into the house to find Jin making lunch for everyone and some of the boys sat at the counter having light conversation. Gyu and Hyuka were aggressively playing video games in the living room. Yoongi was most likely sleeping.
"Welcome home, you're just in time for lunch, who want's a sandwich?" Jin cheerily shouted.
A chorus of "Me!" rang throughout the room as the boys all scrambled over to get some food in their bellies.
Yeonjun stayed with Rose until she was comfortable. Cautiously, she walked into the kitchen and approached Jin. He smiled at her and moved to the side to show her what he had made just for her.
"I made you a bowl of miso soup if you want it honey, I know its one of your favourites." He gave her a warm smile.
She stood there for a moment, studying him, before she gingerly placed her face on his chest and hugged him.
"It's good to have you home safe Rose, I missed my Sous chef." He whispered in her ear.
She pulled back from the hug and looked into his eyes again before a small smile bloomed on her lips.
"Come with me." Jin said as he grabbed her bowl of soup.
He walked into the now quiet living room and sat down on the couch.
"Come sit and eat." He patted his lap.
She climbed into his lap before he even finished his sentence, nearly spilling the soup. Jin watched her carefully as she ate, a huge smile plastered on her face. When she finished her last slurp, she yawned loudly.
With a full belly; Rose wandered off into her room to put on pjs, then walked to Yoongi's room; crawling into bed with him and soon falling asleep cuddling with her Kitty.
