Narrator: Yami, Asta, and (Y/N) were locked in a desperate battle against Licht, their defeat all but certain. But then, some unexpected help arrived. Gauche's spell reflected Licht's attack back at its caster, saving the Magic Knights. It was a close call, but the leader of the Eye of the Midnight Sun was finally defeated.
NO ONE'S POV:
Gauche: [panting]
Finral: Wow. Nice save. Good one, Gauche.
(Yami's Dark Cocoon disappears.)
Asta: [gasps] Whoa! No way!
(Y/N): We're...alive?
Asta: Hey you guys, what just happened? How are we still alive?
Gauche: My Mirror Magic reflected his attack. I didn't see it hit the smug bastard, but there's no way he could've dodged it.
(Yami walks up to Gauche.)
Yami: [laughing] Glad ya dragged your scrawny butt back, and that you brought a fancy new spell with ya. [laughing]
Gauche: Captain. You made me who I am today. Thank you. I owe you everything.
(Imagine Y/N is next to Asta.)
Yami: [laughs] Ooh. Is that so? Then I get all the credit for beating the light mage, right?
Asta: What kind of sense does that make? Gauche did everything while you just stood there!
(Y/N): Can we leave now?
(Yami grabs both of their heads.)
Yami: Shut it.
Asta: [hollering]
(Y/N): [yelping]
Yami: So you think since you beat Skinnybones you can just say whatever you want now, huh? And, (Y/N). You did as much I did so there's no reason for you to be saying anything.
Finral: Hey, the important thing is that everybody did their best. There's no need for violence.
Yami & Gauche: Oh, yeah? What'd you do?
Finral: Excuse me? It was my Spatial Magic that made all possible!
Gauche: No one cares. Now, send me back to Marie.
Finral: All right, I've had it. I am your superior!
Gauche: Well, my angel, your big brother did it. And soon, you'll be in my arms hugging me light, Sweet Marie! Well? Let's go.
(Yami lets go of Y/N.)
(Y/N): [whimpers] My head...
Finral: I am your superior. Well, anyway. I told you I only had one spell in me. No one's leaving this cave until my magic recovers.
Gauche & Yami: Tch.
Finral: Don't you "tch" me?
(Y/N): We could walk?
Gauche: Marie should never be kept waiting.
Yami: Here I thought he couldn't get more useless.
Finral: Now you're just being mean.
(Y/N): Well, I appreciate the save, Finral.
Finral: Thanks, (Y/N). At least you're nice to your superior.
(Yami lets go of Asta & the five of them walk towards Licht.)
Asta: [groaning]
Yami: So much for that super powerful spell of yours, Lineface. Guess your magic has more than one natural enemy. Nice try, though.
Licht: [groaning]
(Licht looks up at Gauche.)
Licht: I'm sorry. I should never have hurt you.
Gauche: Me? What're you talking about?
Yami: Oh, didn't know you guys were friends or I wouldn'ta beat him up.
Gauche: Of course I'm not friends with this monster.
Licht: One day, you'll understand.
Gauche: Huh?
Yami: I don't think I'll ever understand you and your little minions, but we'll be hauling you back to Headquarters anyway. You can tell us all about the Eye of the Midnight Sun when we get there. At last, the King of Overly Serious People has been avenged. May he rest in peace now.
Asta: But he's not dead yet, sir!
(Y/N): Yeah!
Yami: Do we have to worry about every little detail? Jeez!
Asta: "Little detail"?
(Y/N): But you're saying that Captain Fuegoleon is dead when he's not?
Yami: Okay, now, let's see here.
(Yami flips through his grimoire.)
Yami: I've got a Binding spell somewhere. I've just got to find it. Right, here it is. Go, Dark Restraints.
(The Black Bulls are now waiting for Finral's magic to recover.)
Yami: [yawns] Can we get out of here already?
Finral: No. You'll have to wait a little longer. Like I said, it's gonna take a while for my magic power to regenerate.
Yami & Gauche: Tch.
Finral: Again with the "tch"!
Yami: Tch, you like that. Tch. Tch. Don't let it get to you.
Finral: But it does!
(Y/N's thoughts): Real mature, Captain...
Gauche: Well, then, get me back to Marie.
Finral: Unlike someone, I didn't get any extra magic.
Gauche: Though, if we wait longer, our reunion will be that much more joyous.
Gauche: Yes. Ha-ha. That's certainly been true in the past.
Asta: What's been true in the past?
Gauche: I'm not talking to you about anything that pertains to Marie!
(Y/N): [sighs]
Asta: What? Why not?
Gauche: Anyone who approaches Marie is my enemy!
Asta: Seriously?!
(Y/N's thoughts): I hope Noelle is okay...
Yami: [stomach growls] Ugh. I'm so friggin starving here. Can't you at least use a portal to get us breakfast?
Finral: I'm not a delivery service.
Yami: Tch. Huh?
Gauche: Hm?
Asta: Is something wrong?
(Finral, Yami, Gauche, & Y/N stand up.)
Yami: That's a lot of mana.
(A portal appears & three people come out of it.)
Licht: Hm.
Finral: Who are they?
Yami: More enemies.
(Y/N): Fantastic.
Asta: Spatial Magic?
(Asta looks at Valtos.)
Asta: But he's still out cold. So, how?
Black Haired Man: [yawns] Oh, man. Looks like something didn't go as planned. There was a hell of a battle, and Licht and Valty clearly weren't the winners. [groans] Cleaning up this mess will be a real pain, but still--[yawns] You gotta help out your friends, right?
(The black haired man suddenly appears in front of Yami & touches his grimoire.)
Black Haired Man: Huh. That's a unique design. Well, not that it matters.
Yami's thoughts: This guy moves fast, too.
Yami: Dark Magic: Dark Cloaked Lightless Slash!
(The black haired man is able to dodge the slash but not completely as his arm is hit by the slash a little bit.)
Black Haired Man: Ow! Jeez. Now, that's literally a pain. Well, whatever, I can heal easily enough. Light Magic: Healing Light Particles.
(The black haired man proceeds to heal the wound on his arm.)
Asta: The same spell. That guy can heal, too.
(Y/N): Great.
Licht: Thank you for coming. I'm sorry. My power alone was not enough to defeat them.
Pink Haired Girl: You're hurt. Is it bad?
Licht: I'm fine. Better now that you're here.
Pink Haired Girl: Yes, it will be all right. Now, Flame Recovery Magic: Phoenix Robe.
Black Bulls: [gasp]
Licht: I know you'll succeed where I failed. Thank you, my friends.
(Y/N's thoughts): If you look past that they're the bad guys, this is actually pretty sweet.
Gauche: Hold on! I thought this guy was their leader.
Licht: Ha.
Black Haired Man: [yawns] See, Licht? Trying to do everything on your own is way too much work.
Beast Man: You insects! Do you know what we do to people who harm our friends? I'll show you. When I'm finished, your limbs will be torn from your body like wings plucked off of a butterfly.
Pink Haired Girl: I detest anybody who hurts Licht. I hate them.
Asta: Right. So, who are these people, exactly?
Licht: I'll introduce you. These three are the strongest members of the Midnight Sun.
(Y/N): Really?
Asta: They're the strongest?
Licht: Indeed. Their power surpasses my own, especially when it comes to battle.
Licht: They are the Third Eye.
Gauche: And they're more powerful than you?
Yami: So. Third Eye, huh?
Finral: That's impossible. Stronger than a Light mage. He's got to be bluffing about that, right?
Black Haired Man: [yawns] We wouldn't bother. Bluffing's such a pain, y'know?
Licht: Your kingdom takes the clover as its symbol, as befits its name. Let's consider it, shall we? Each of the clover's leaves supposedly represents one ideal. None of which your kingdom truly embraces. They are integrity, hope, and love. Such pretty words. These three bear titles with opposite meanings. Antithetical to integrity, we have Rhya the Disloyal.
Licht: As the antithesis to hope, we have Vetto the Despair.
Licht: And, as the inverse of love, we have Fana the Hateful.
Fana: If someone dares to harm Licht, I will gladly kill them. Kill.
(Y/N): Okay...
Finral: Disloyalty, despair, and hatred.
Gauche: [grunts]
Yami: Congratulations, those are some real spiffy names you've got there, but they don't tell me if you're worth a damn when it comes to a fight.
Rhya: I guess we'll just have to show you, then. Man, how lame. [yawns]
(Rhya is revealed to be holding Yami's katana.)
Finral & (Y/N): Uh!
Gauche: No way.
Asta: It's just like Captain Yami's!
Rhya: Copy Magic: Dark Cloaked Lightless Slash.
(A slash is coming straight for the Black Bulls.)
Yami: Your name's Rhya the Disloyal, huh? Swiping spells? Not cool. I'll sue you for copyright infringement.
(Yami's slash clashes with Rhya's.)
Finral: Watch out!
(Vetto is above Yami.)
Vetto: Where are you looking? Beast Magic: Bear Claw.
(Vetto's Bear Claw comes down on Y/N, but Y/N gets his hammer up in time to press against Vetto.)
Vetto: This is a surprise.
(Y/N): [groans] Stupid beast.
Gauche's thoughts: Damn it, I'm still short on magic.
(Yami is about to hit Vetto but he dodges.)
Asta & (Y/N): He dodged it?
Yami's thoughts: Did he pick up on my ki?
Vetto: Ha!
(Vetto & Yami clash.)
Vetto: Beast Magic: Bear Claw!
(Vetto ends up breaking Yami's katana.)
Vetto: I can't wait to see the looks of despair on your faces when you lose all hope. Nothing seasons a meal better than abject misery.
Yami: Hey, you! That katana was special order and very expensive! You owe me big!
Finral: Really, sir?
Yami: [grunts] Haven't even finished paying the thing off yet, damn it. Hm?
(The fireball hits the Black Bulls.)
Fana: Loathsome. Abhorrent. You must die.
(Yami was able to cover everyone within Black Cocoon before the fireball made impact.)
Yami: Hm? A salamander? That's Spirit Magic.
Asta's thoughts: Spirit Magic? Does he mean...like Yuno?
Yami: Hey, Fana the Hateful, isn't it? Your personality could use some work.
(It's revealed that there's a small burn on Yami's arm.)
Yami's thoughts: Not fully developed yet, but still. The spirit of fire, one of the four elements.
Rhya: [yawns] Let's end this. 'Kay?
Vetto: [growls] Got any final words?
Fana: You hurt our friend. We will repay that pain hundredfold.
Yami: You four stay right here. Ya got me?
(Yami walks out of Black Cocoon.)
Asta: Wait. Captain Yami!
(Yami closes Black Cocoon. He then proceeds to take Rhya, Fana, & Vetto all by himself where he's taking hits.)
Asta: He got hit!
(Y/N): Damn it!
Finral's thoughts: Keeping us safe is limiting the captain's movement. And I still haven't recovered enough mana to cast my Spatial magic.
Gauche's thoughts: These guys are on a whole other level.
Asta: Sir! Let me help!
Yami: No! I told you stay put!
(Y/N): What if I just threw my hammer from-
Yami: Don't finish that sentence! You're not worried about me, are you, kids? 'Cause I'll tell you both right now, it's about a billion years too early for that. You two just make sure you're watching. Things are gonna get serious. It's time to push past my limits.
Licht: I didn't expect you to be defeated easily, but it will happen. Every member of the Third Eye is stronger than even a Magic Knight captain.
Rhya: Now, let's get this over with.
Vetto: Ha!
Fana: Kill them. Spirit Magic: Salamander's Breath.
(Rhya & Vetto also send attacks at Yami.)
Gauche, Finral, Asta & (Y/N): Captain!
(The Third Eye's attacks are about to hit Yami until thorns, green slashes, & sliver meet the Third Eye's attacks.)
Gauche: How?
Finral: What the--?
(Y/N): Who?
Licht: Hm?
Jack: [exhales]
Finral & Asta: [gasps]
Jack: You're having way too much fun on your own here, Yami. You should let the rest of us in on it. So, every one of you is stronger than a Magic Knight captain, huh? We'll see.
Yami: Aw, man. Just when I was about to have some kinda awakening, too. What're you doing here, my high-and-mighty fellow captains?
Nozel: I would expect somebody who was in your position to speak with greater care. You'd better watch your back, foreigner because I will see you executed one of these days. I swear it.
Yami: Jeez, look at your hair. How'm I supposed to take you seriously?
Charlotte: Pitiful. You couldn't handle a few measly mages without us?
Yami: C'mon, cut me some slack, huh?
Asta: Amazing.
Finral: Three of 'em. Whoa!
Gauche: Who are they?
(Y/N): What?!
Finral: You're kidding! They're Magic Knight captains!
Gauche: Meh.
Gauche: Aren't you even a little interested?
Gauche: They aren't Marie, so.
Finral: You've really got to work on this little sister thing.
(Y/N): Seriously.
(Finral explains who the Magic Knight captains are to Gauche.)
Rhya: Three captains. This is getting tedious. [yawns]
Vetto: Ha! Come on. Big deal. Captains or not, they're no match for us.
Fana: If someone harms Licht, I will kill them. Kill them. Kill them.
Jack: I'm ready to tear someone to pieces. Let's get this party started, shall we?
Charlotte: You're from the Midnight Sun, are you?
Nozel: There are a great many questions that we would like answers to.
Vetto: [growls]
Jack: [laughs]
