3 MONTHS LATER
It's been exactly three months since Rabiah met me at the hospital that day
These 3 months have been one hell of a ride
Well I and Umar have gotten a lot closer, like A LOT
To the point that if i don't talk to him in an hour I feel sad
Pathetic, I know..
It seems like everyday I find out something new about him
He's a very....interesting guy
And everyday I learn to love him more
Even though I haven't dared to say those powerful three words again
Please, I'm not ready for another kind of twisted rejection again abeg
As for Aliya
She has finally entered a school
Even though Umar had to throw another fuss, saying he doesn't feel it's safe out there when he knows his uncle is out there somewhere
But with a lot of convincing we managed to let him let her go
He had to make me find the most private school I could possibly find
Good thing it was owned by my mother's brother
Speaking of Uncles
Umar hasn't really been exactly the same after he found out that his uncle was responsible for his mother's death
Every single day since that day, his investigators didn't get to rest
They get bits and bits of information but they still couldn't find out his location
And that was surprising because they're honestly probably one of the best investigators
I mean, look at how they found literally almost everything about me when I and Umar first met
He must be a really powerful man if he can be still hiding for this long
But hopefully they do find him soon
And if you're wondering about the love triangle between Aliyu, Rabi'ah and Ya Abdul

Ya Abdul has tried to detach himself from it
He has been trying his best to avoid my best friend
To say she's sad about it will be an understatement
She literally cries about it
There was a day where she got me thinking if she actually liked Ya Abdul
And as for Aliyu, I don't even know if that one knows what's going on
He's his usual joyful self
Always smiling
And he and Ya Abdul actually surprisingly got along these past three months
That was literally what shocked I and Rabi'ah the most
Even Umar was shocked
They're literally best friends
I came out of my thoughts when I heard Hauwa's loud laugh
Her and Rabi'ah are at my house today
The three of us plus Fa'iza have literally formed a friend group
We have also gotten closer
"No, Hauwa this your brother ba, Wallahi sai ah hankali" Rabi'ah said as she rolled her eyes
Hauwa chuckled "so you're saying you don't like him anymore?"
"I'm not saying that, it's just that, I used to like him more before he left when he came back some months back, I thought I still liked him the same, but as time passed, I realized that it isn't really the same" she said not caring she was taking to his sister

But then, the trust level we have for each other is immaculate
I shook my head "maybe it's probably because you guys had a fight and you're angry at him, you're talking out of anger"
Hauwa nodded "yes, but if you feel that you don't like him anymore, it's ok, tell him, He'll let you go"
I frowned a little
I never thought I'll see the day Rabi'ah will actually say this
I mean, she was head over heels for aliyu
But then, things happen, you never know what will change
"Speak of the devil, he's calling me" Rabiah muttered
I shook my head in amusement "Answer, he probably wants to apologize"
"No" she said as she stubbornly shook her head
I hissed just as my phone rang, Uncle Faisal was the one calling
My uncle who owns the school Aliya is in
I stood up and I went out of the room away from them and the noisy TV to answer the call
I answered the call "Hello? Uncle Faisal?"
"Hameeda, ya kike?" He asked
"Lafiya kalau, ina wuni" I asked with a frown as my stomach turned again (Good Evening)
It's been doing that for a while now, I already booked an appointment with a doctor
"Lafiya, we have a problem" he said
I sat down on the coffee table in the corridor "subahanallah, what is it?"
"So you know Aliya's class went on an excursion, koh?" He said
"Yess?" I said remembering how I had to fight with Umar about that
He argued about it saying it's not safe bla bla bla
But of course I won the argument
"They came back without Aliya"
I held the arm of the chair before I stood up "what?"
"The staffs they went with said they didn't realize it until they came back, I'm making sure all of them are getting sacked, and as for Aliya, I'm on my way to the park they went to, together with some securities, don't worry we will find her In Sha Allah"
I did not get to say anything else because I ended the call and I sat down
My breath coming out in soft pants

The phone fell from her hand and unto her lap
I stopped in front of the door
Rabi'ah quickly stood up and she rushed to Hauwa as she held her shoulder
"Hauwa, what happened?" She asked
Hauwa looked up at her "Aliya has been kidnapped"
I froze
"Who told you that?" I whispered
"Ya Aliyu just called me, he said that the kidnappers just called Ya Umar asking for a large sum of money"
