I set the my bed frame on the wall, which had been the first thing to go into the van and the last to leave it. Quite the accomplishment.

Even though it took me all freaking day because I didn't have anyone to help.

I had a triumphant and heavily exhausted smile on my face, glad that this apartment had a working, and may I say very large, elevator.

I collapsed onto my mattress, groaning in relief and pain as my spine stung, causing me to arch my back to relieve the pain, hearing it crack in several places. I should probably get that checked out.

I rubbed my back, sitting up and cracking it more before I stood up, looking around my bedroom.

"Guess I'll start in my bed." I said, grabbing the metal, rustic bed frame and set it up. I slid the mattress into place, making the bed look very aesthetically pleasing, the pale, blush pink and soft blanket hanging over the white and black comforter.

I fixed my pillows, placing them on the bed neatly before moving to my two nightstands, setting the lamps in the corners. I looked around, huffing in frustration before I began rummaging throw all the opener boxes.

"Where is it... where is it?" I asked myself before smiling. "Aha!" I pulled out the autobiography of Harrison Wells, placing it neatly on top of my computer science books.

"Perfect." I whispered, moving towards my desk. I placed a few unused books in between the holder, followed by my salt rock lamp, the urge to lick it coursing through my veins.

"Maybe just a-" I don't know why I looked around, but I did before quickly licking the lamp, spitting and squinting my eyes.

"Gross. Salty." I said before licking it again, doing the same thing.

"I need to stop." I said, setting it down and turning it on, picking up my laptop and setting it in the center.

I looked around the room, a smile on my face. "Comfy." I smiled and moved on to unboxing my kitchen supplies, and then the living room.

By the time I finished, it was 8:37 at night. I yawned loudly, stretching as I walked over to the window, scratching my head.

I peered outside, getting a perfect view of the park. A small, thin-lipped smile crossed my face, before it quickly turned into a frown, watching as a red streak flashed across the park.

"What the—?" I leaned forward, banging my head on the window. I made a large '0' shape with my mouth as I rubbed my forehead.

"Good going, dumbass." I said to myself and opened my eyes, frowning as I noticed the streak was gone.

I was almost positive I had heard of said Streak before, going to my computer to look it up. A smile quickly spread across my face as I had found a blog on it, the writer of the blog unknown.

"The Streak: Who is the man behind the mask?... Interesting." I quoted then frowned, realizing there wasn't anything on the blog. Only a single photo and a quick debriefing of him.

"This persons a good writer... Maybe they work as a reporter." I mumbled to myself as I yawned, shutting my computer, crawling into bed and slowly falling asleep.

I woke up about an hour or so later, hearing a strange noise in the living room. I searched my bedroom anxiously, panicking when I realized I didn't have much items that could be used for self-defense.

I searched in my closet, finding an old machete I had used when I would go fishing with my dad a while back. It brought me a small sense of sadness before a crash echoed in the living room. It felt like my soul just took a screenshot and sent it to God.

"Can't believe I think someone is breaking in. First day here, and what do ya know? You're already having to threaten someone with a large knife!" I rambled to myself quietly and slowly made my way down the hallway.

"Alright, tough guy. You think you can go against me? I have a knife... well... a machete! It's just— it's a big knife, buckaroo!" I yelled as the noise continued.

I stopped, feeling a dark, cold shiver run up my spine. With no warning, I was being slammed against the wall, the machete dropping as something held me by the neck.

Well, someone.

They were faster than light, their yellow suit radiating with red electricity. I stared in fear at his red glowing eyes, which showed nothing but pure anger.

It sounded like a vibrating noise as the person spoke in a hushed but angered voice. "S.T.A.R." He bellowed as I gripped onto his wrist which held me by the throat. I tried to breathe, or at least hit him, but my hand merely phased through his head.

What the hell?

I frowned in confusion, not knowing what he meant. The man ran off, and I collapsed to my knees, coughing as I gasped for air, holding my neck.

I looked around, frowning at the machete that strayed a few feet away. "Some hell you are." I complained to the inanimate object and crawled over, grabbing it and setting the machete on the kitchen table.

I looked to see if anything had been stolen, thankfully no, but a glass had shattered. I scratched my head in concentration as I tried to come up with a reason as to why the man broke in, stole nothing, held me by the throat, said a single word then left.

More importantly, how did my hand phase through him but he could hurt me? And how was he faster than the speed of light?

I walked slowly back into my bedroom, rubbing my neck as I sat down at my desk, opening my computer.

"Startling City... no. Stars and constellations? Obviously not." I continued to scroll through the web browser before my eyes caught something.

"S.T.A.R. Labs." I muttered, clicking on the link. There wasn't much to it. The webpage had been deleted after the particle accelerator explosion, but someone had started it back up. Only a few things were written on the page.

"Yeah this is definitely what that guy was talking about." I said quietly as I shut my computer, going back to bed as I thought about how I'd get into a hazardous location.

I kept my eyes wide open in case the man came back, quickly running back into the kitchen to grab the machete before booking it to my room.

I don't think I fell asleep u til it was 4 in the morning.

۞

I woke up, a groan escaping my lips as I rubbed my eyes, falling out of bed. I stretched, hearing my back crack a few times as I walked to my bathroom, taking a quick shower.

I stepped out, wrapped in a towel around my curvy figure as I wiped the fog off the mirror. I brushed my hair, letting it air dry as I brushed my teeth next.

I changed into some high waisted jeans, slipping on my socks and converse while multitasking and putting on a crop top.

Setting my hair up into a ponytail, I pulled a few strange out so they fell around my face. I slipped my phone into my back pocket, a determined smirk on my face and I walked out of my apartment, locking it behind me.

"Oh. I'm sorry." I said as I bumped into a tall, blonde haired man. Yeah he definitely looks like a drug dealer. I thought as he looked me up and down.

"No worries." The man, who I would soon find out is Clyde Mardon, grumbled before taking off. I had thought nothing of it as I walked out of the apartment building, making my way to S.T.A.R. Labs.

Maybe I should have gone for the better apartment.

۞

I managed to find an opening in the fence that was surrounding S.T.A.R. Labs. I walked into an elevator, the only place it led me to was a really high level.

I walked in, making my way down the long hallway slowly, were I started to hear other people talking.

The voices were inaudible, even after I stepped into the Cortex. The voices then stopped, everyone turning to me.

"U-uh... How did you get in here?!" A dark skinned male said as I looked around.

"There was... an opening in the fence." I said as he ran over, pressing a button.

"Barry I need you to come to the cortex now. But don't use your-" in the blink of an eye, there was a gust of wind, followed by a tall, dark haired man standing next to the one that told him to come in.

I stared in shock as he looked around before his eyes widened, landing on me. I let out a scream, hiding behind the woman and pointing at him accusingly.

"Holy shit you're the Streak I saw last night! Oh my god are you guys like his henchmen or something?! Dude you owe me a new cup!" I snapped as everyone looked at me in confusion.

"What?" The man, Barry, asked.

"You broke into my house last night! Well... I think you did. You were wearing a yellow suit last night and... well I don't see anywhere you could put a suit in here." I answered as Barry seemed to stop, his brows raising in panic as the three looked behind me. I frowned, turning around to see none other than-

"Harrison Wells." I mumbled, staring at the man in the wheel chair.

"Who is this?" He asked, gesturing to me.

"Oh right. I'm Uh.. Cora. Cora Agápi." I smiled as everyone raised their brows at me. So they were just as confused as I was.

"Greek." The girl said as I turned to face her. "Agápi means love in Greek." She said as I smiled, nodding.

"Well, that's a lovely name you have, Miss Agápi. But, I am afraid you must leave-" Dr. Wells said as Barry shook his head.

"She can't leave." The male by the computers said as Wells frowned.

"And why is that?" Dr. Wells asked, Barry clearing his throat.

"Because she knows I'm the Streak."
