Taeyong and I were washing dishes together, and having small little chats.
I helped him make dinner for all of us, and we all ate together. Everyone finished eating not too long ago, so now I'm helping him wash up.
"So, Renjunie. What are your plans for the future?"
Taeyong suddenly asked with a slightly serious tone.
"I don't really know to be honest hyung. I have to be prepared for incoming duties as the new number one hero. But apart from that, I've mainly been thinking about getting married to Suko soon"
"That's so sweet~! I can't wait to attend the wedding~!"
"No doubt that you're invited hyung~. Everyone else is invited too~"
"I'm glad to hear that~. Though, you plan to have a family with Suko too right?"
"I do"
"And the other Dreamies plan to marry their girls, and have a family with them too right?"
"Mhm"
I nodded.
"Then... That would mean that the fourteen of you would have to move out..."
He stopped washing the plate he had when he said that.
I stopped washing the plate I had when I saw the sad expression on his face.
"I've been thinking about that for a while now. I don't want us to leave, considering the seven of us grew up with you, and we all bonded together in this home, as well as our last. Moving out is such a big move, and I know that you all would miss us, especially you since you raised us"
"Mm..."
"But... Moving out would give the fourteen of us more space. And, the kids would have plenty of room with us. We could raise them well, without them feeling claustrophobic or suffocated inside of a packed home"
"I thought the same thing..."
Taeyong mumbled.
There was a long silence between us, as we were both lost in thought. Both of these choices are about family. It's such a hard decision to make, especially since none of us are even married yet...
"Renjun"
"Y-Yeah hyung?"
I immediately answered to his completely serious tone.
"...I'm pretty sure you know what I'm about to say"
"...That, we should move out?"
Taeyong nodded.
"Are you sure hyung...?"
"Don't get me wrong. I'm not kicking you guys out. I would never do that. But, moving out would be the best for the fourteen of you, as well as your kids. You all would be able to have your privacy, and create new bonds with each other"
"But, the rest if you-"
"Don't worry about us. We'll be fine. I know the others would say the same thing. We only want what's best for you. And besides, we can always visit each other as often as you'd like. You guys can call us anytime, and we'll be there"
He smiled.
I know he still felt sad, but his smile was sincere.
I dried off my hands, and immediately hugged him. He dried his hands too, and hugged me back tightly.
"I love you all so much Renjun..."
I could hear it in his voice that he was crying, but I know he meant every word that he said.
Though I was trying to hold it in, I felt my tears leave my eyes and I hugged him tighter.
At this moment, we both realized that this was the end of the first chapter in our lives, and the beginning of a new one.
"I love you too hyung... Thank you, for everything..."
