Me and Tony arrived at our hotel room. I immediately got some first aid kit and placed it on the bed. Tony sat on the bed and he starts to remove his racing gears. I sat beside him and I got the supply and began to clean up his wound.
"Y/N, talk to me babe." Tony said while looking at me. I stopped cleaning his wound and I looked at my lap and sighed.
"I'm sorry, you know." Tony added.
"I know but, you almost died awhile ago and I didn't do anything to protect you cause I was scared of people knowing I'm an enhanced--"
"Baby, listen to me.." Tony said as he held my cheek and he let me look at him.
"You weren't ready for it. I understand you and you did gave me the case awhile ago." He said and he smirked.
"He almost killed you, Tony.." I said and he went near me and he kissed my lips.
"I won't let that happen, okay?" He said assuring me. I just nodded my head and I hugged him.
"I'm sorry I yelled at you awhile ago." I apologized.
"Don't say you're sorry. You were just worried." Tony said and he kissed my head. After I cleaned up his wound, Tony changed his clothes and I went to the living room and prepared him a smoothie. After a while, he went out from the room and he looked like he's going out.
"Where are you going?" I asked him as I gave him his smoothie.
"I'll just pay him a visit."
"Who?" I asked.
"The man who tried to kill me."
"But, Tony--"
"Baby, I'll be safe. I'll see you later." He said while he kissed my forehead and drank his smoothie and went to the door. But, before he went out, he looked at me.
"Thanks for the smoothie, hon. I love you.." Tony said and he walked out. I looked at the ceiling and sighed deeply.
"You're making this hard for me, Tony.." I said to myself tiredly.
*Tony's POV
~At the Prison~
"We ran his prints. We got nothing back, not even a name." The police officer said in French.
"Where are we going?" I replied in French.
"Over there. We're not even sure he speaks English. He hasn't said a word since he got here." He said back in French.
"Five minutes." I said in French. The officer opened the door and I went inside and the door closed.
"Pretty decent tech. Cycles per second were a little low. You could have doubled up your rotations. You focused the repulsor energy through ionised plasma channels. It's effective. Not very efficient. But it's a passable knock-off. I don't get it. A little fine tuning you could have made a solid pay check. You could have sold it to North Korea, China, Iran, or gone onto the black market. You look like you got friends in low places." I said and I went to sit on the bench far from him.
"You come from a family of thieves and butchers. And now, like all guilty men, you try to rewrite your own history. And you forget all the lives the Stark family has destroyed." He said while looking at me.
"Speaking of thieves, where did you get this design?"
"My father. Anton Vanko."
"Well, I never heard of him."
"My father is the reason you're alive."
"The reason I'm alive is 'cause you had a shot, you took it, you missed."
"Did I? If you can make God bleed, the people will cease to believe in him. And there will be blood in the water. And the sharks will come. The truth, all I have to do is sit here and watch as the world will consume you."
"Where will you be watching the world consume me from? That's right. A prison cell. I'll send you a bar of soap." I said as I get up and leave.
"Hey, Tony. Before you go, palladium in the chest, painful way to die." I looked at him confusingly as he guessed that I am slowly dying from the palladium on my arc reactor. But, I went to leave.

Tony message me awhile ago that I need to pack my things since we will be going back to California today. I was packing my bag when I heard the door opened. I went outside the bedroom and saw Tony closing the main door behind him looking so tiredly.
"Hey." I greeted with a smile as he went near me and showed a small smile. He sat on the couch and I sat beside him.
"You look tired, what happened?" I asked him.
"All I know is that his father used to work with my father. Our fathers worked together for the arc reactor." He said while his eyes were closed and he put his head on the couch and sighed deeply. I put my hand on his head and played with his hair.
"What can I do?" I asked him. He looked at me and he held my waist.
"Nothing, baby." I leaned to him and peck his lips.
"I love you so damn much, Y/N." He said.
"I love you too, Tones." I told him and I hugged him.
~Plane~
I am currently watching the news where Stern was speaking. Tony, well I don't know where the hell he is.
"It's just unbelievable. It proves that the genie is out of the bottle and this man has no idea what he's doing. He thinks of the Iron Man weapon as a toy. I was at a hearing where Mr Stark, in fact, was adamant that these suits can't exist anywhere else, don't exist anywhere else, never will exist anywhere else, at least for five to ten years, and here we are in Monaco realizing, 'These suits exist now.'." Stern said. I just sighed and shook my head.
"Mute. He should be giving me a medal. That's the truth." Tony said as he went in front of me and took a seat as he placed a plate with cover on the table in front of us and he put the utensils down.
"What is that?" I asked him.
"This is your in-flight meal." Tony said as he took a seat. And he removed the food cover. I saw an over-easy scrambled egg, with a bit burnt on the corner of the egg, with spinach and mushroom on it.
"Did you just make that?" I asked as a bit fascinated and with a bit sarcasm on my tone.
"Yeah. Where do you think I've been for three hours?" Tony said as he laid his back on the chair. I looked at him and tried to read his reaction.
"Tony, what are you not telling me?" I asked him.
"I don't want to go home. At all. Let's cancel my birthday party and... We're in Europe. Let's go to Venice, Cipriani. Remember?" Tony asked me.
"Yeah, I still remember it." I said as I nod my head.
"It's a great place to be healthy."
"We can't Tony, we're a bit messed up right now." I told him.
"Maybe, today might be a good way to do that, to escape for a bit from the stress." Tony said.
"Tony, you made this mess. I'm actually helping Pepper and Natalie fixed up your mess." I said.
"Well, I'm just saying that we need to recharge our batteries and figure it out."
"Tony, a no is a no." I said. He just looked at the window and stayed quiet.
