Chapter Twenty Eight.
We were too wrapped up in each other when the morning came to even focus on getting ready for his show that we had to be at in about three hours. I was looking up at him with a smile on my face as I drew imaginary shapes into his skin and he was closing his eyes with a smile on his face as well, enjoying every second of it.
I didn’t want to think about having to get ready or to even move at this second because honestly I finally felt for the first time like we were in a good place and for the first time I was feeling nothing but complete love for this man. The way he accepted my pregnancy and the way he told me we would be okay and just the way he’s treated me like such a complete princess was just so amazing. I’m so thankful for him and even if we do fight a lot at the end of the day his arms are the only ones I want to be in.
“Good morning beautiful.” He murmured, finally waking up. “God, I missed this.”
I did too and I gently kissed his chest, running my fingertips across his stomach as he stretched and wrapped his arms around my body. It was hot in the hotel room but I didn’t feel like moving or asking him to move because everything felt so perfect right now. I didn’t want to ruin the moment.
“Still love me even though I’m pregnant?” I teased.
“Still love you. Always have, always will.”
And then I rolled on top of him so I could stare at him more.
“We do need to get a doctor though to look at you babe. You know, to check up on it.”
“It…” I giggled when he kissed my nose. “I don’t even want to start talking about the gender or anything until the three month mark. It’s like bad luck or something when you tell people before then.”
“And where did you hear that?”
“I don’t know but I’ve heard it. I don’t want any bad luck during this pregnancy so we’re waiting until after the three-month period Justin. Please?”
“I don’t have a problem with that but it’s going to be almost impossible to hide it from the photographers. You might just have to wear baggy clothes until then.”
“Yeah well all I wear are sweatpants and your sweatshirts anyways so what does it matter?”
He laughed when I said that and rolled his eyes at me, his fingers moving to brush a few strands of hair out of my face. I wanted to kiss him and I wanted him to cuddle with me more but he gently pushed me off of him and wandered over to his suitcase against the door, an endless amount of clothing seeming to spill out of it. God, I loved his naked body. Just to know that’s mine is so unbelievable. All of that is mine.
“Babe…” I groaned, resting back into the pillows. “Come cuddle.”
“We have to be at the arena in like two hours Soph.”
“Well can you at least give me a kiss?”
I had my ways of getting him to stay a little bit longer with me but some of my ways I kept hidden from him. When he gave me that full-toothed grin and kissed me, he expected it to be a short one but I entwined my tongue with his and just like I thought would happen, he let out a groan and tried to pull away again but I trailed my fingertips across his happy trail and moved back farther onto the bed.
“Cuddle.” I pleaded. “C’mon baby.”
My plan worked and he gave in, letting out a sigh of defeat and crawled on top of me.
“You’re a little tease, you know that?”
“Mhm… but so are you baby. You walk around naked and expect me to not want to touch you. That’s not how it works.”
“I’m not even that attractive Sophia.”
And then I was staring at him in shock because I thought he was joking but he wasn’t. He had a stone cold expression on his face and when he looked at me he looked so insecure in that moment that I completely regretted even bringing it up.
“Babe…” I soothed, stroking his cheek with my hand. “What’s wrong?”
“I just don’t see how you think of me like that when there are so many guys out there that would kill to have you and they’d probably treat you so much better, you know? I have the worst eyebrows in the entire world, I get acne more than anyone can see and only you see it because you wake up next to me every day and that makes me even more insecure because you see how just… god, I don’t know. I just-“
“You are out of your mind, you know that?”
He looked at me and started to smile when I reached up and started to play with his hair.
“Justin you are the sexiest man I have ever seen in my entire life and that’s the honest truth. Your eyebrows are my favorite and your acne is just a part of you. What you don’t understand is that I love what’s inside baby. Regardless of what’s happened and regardless of our fights I still think you treat me like a princess and you need to stop being so insecure around me. I love you babe and I never stopped. It’s always only been you.”
His lips started to kiss my neck and I started to giggle when he picked up their speed and moved his kisses to my jawline before they attached with my lips, me just lying there and hooking my arms around his neck as he pulled away and looked at me in utter appreciation.
“You sure? So you never fell for Ben?”
That explained everything as soon as I heard his question and I just rolled my eyes and looked towards the window that overlooked the city of London, which we haven’t even had time to tour yet. Well, we probably did, we just decided to do things that required a bed and alone time.
“Are you really jealous of Ben?”
“I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t. Sophia when I saw you kiss him on the cover of that magazine I didn’t know what to do with myself. I never really prepared myself for when I’d finally see you move on and be with someone else but when I saw it was Ben I was so pissed off. It took everything I had to not punch the shit out of him at the club that night. He had you even if it was just for two weeks but he had you Soph and that scares me.”
“He didn’t have me Justin. I mean yeah, we kissed but we only kissed once. I had a crush on Ben but with you I-“
“Don’t say that.” He groaned. “You know how jealous I get Sophia. Don’t say that.”
“Well would you like me to lie?”
“In this case, yes. Lie to me.”
“Okay well then I never had one ounce of feeling toward Ben in any way shape or form.” I giggled. “Better?”
“Much. I don’t want you talking to him Sophia and I mean that. Not anymore.”
I kind of looked at him in disbelief when I heard him and he could tell I was irritated because he moved off of me and continued to wait for an answer. He can’t seriously expect me to not talk to one of my best friends that’s been in my life for almost seven years now. He’s out of his mind.
“Justin I know things happened between us but Ben’s been in my life longer than you have. He’s always been a loyal friend to me and I know he probably never wants to speak to me again after what happened but I still want to have contact with him. I can’t just push him out of my life forever because we kissed one time.”
He was out of bed before I even finished and I just let out a huge sigh when he grabbed his clothes and went into the bathroom without saying a word to me. I was expecting him to be upset with my answer but honestly he needs to trust me that I wouldn’t cheat on him with Ben. I’m faithful to him and only him and I would never hang out with Ben if Justin weren’t with me. I just think it’s a little uncalled for to tell me I can’t speak to one of my best friend’s.
“Justin, really? Open up the door.”
I tugged on the handle but it wouldn’t budge.
The water of the shower then started up and that made me twice as mad because as soon as I woke up this morning that was what I was looking forward to and now he’s taking one without me. Just great.
