It's getting dark and we're still walking, we were supposed to have gone back to school after lunch. But we've been walking for a while now.
Tao: Which way is the station?
Aoba: I think we're lost.
Bill: What?!
I'd be surprised if I hadn't figured it out an hour or so ago.
Aoba: Um... It's this way according to Zoozle maps.
Bill: You're a bird! Use your.. I don't know.. magnetic sense!
Aoba: Yeah, I'm not a migratory bird.
Y/N: Don't you guys maybe recognize something about this place?
Legoshi: I don't think we're too far.
I look around, trying to find a building or something that I recognize, to give me a sign that we've been here and we're going to the right way.
The sun's setting, we keep wandering around through a somewhat dark area of the city. I don't like this place very much. I get a little closer to Legoshi, just to make sure I don't separate and end up getting lost here.
We pass near a truck, you don't have to be a genius to know that any of us don't feel safe in this place.
We all keep walking, until hoarse groans are heard nearby. We stop and look at each other, trying to find out what that noise is.
From the sound, I'm able to quickly identify that those groans are at my right, I turn to find a homeless goat sitting on a mat. He must be begging for money.
Legoshi turns to see him too, and before long the boys realize that we stopped to see him.
Bill: Hey guys, What's going on?
Legoshi approaches the tramp slowly, everyone seeing him, it wouldn't be bad to ask him for directions. He crouches to get to the height of the old goat.
Legoshi: Excuse me. May I.. ask you something?
Goat: Yes.. Go ahead.
Suddenly, that goat shows his hands, where we can all see that he's missing some fingers and the ones he remains... are... labeled with a price?
Legoshi startles like me after seeing that.
Goat: Go on.. choose your favorite finger..
W-Wait... Is he... SELLING his fingers?!
Goat: Sure, they're the leftovers... but they still taste great~..
Wait again ... he sells his fingers .. TO BE EATEN?! WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON HERE?!
He brings his hands up to Legoshi and pats his face, almost putting his hands inside his mouth, while he negotiates a price... Oh God... I suddenly feel like throwing up. Why doesn't Legoshi take his hands off his face?!
The truck that was standing in front of us finally drives away, so we all look to see what was on the other side of the truck.
Oh no... Of all the places we could've come across.... Why did it have to be this one?!
Aoba: This is the black market...
I look at the market.... Of everything illegal that I thought they could sell.... I didn't imagine that they would sell that..
Meat... a lot of meat.. There are too many people here, who are EATING other people ... W-what is this place ?!
I turn to look back at the group scared.
Y/N: We have to get out of here now!
I approach Legoshi who's still being groped by the goat so we can just run away from here.
Y/N: Legoshi we have to get out of here. Let's go.
Still, Legoshi doesn't answer me, he just stares at the old man.
Y/N: We shouldn't be here! You heard Louis!
Again, he doesn't respond. Is he even listening to me? He... he's not thinking about eating it... is he?
Bill suddenly approaches Legoshi quickly and violently pushes him aside. So he ends up colliding with me.
Bill: MOVE!
As I regain my balance, he desperately grabs the old man's shoulder.
Bill: Hey, old man! It's 70,000 for that finger right?! If I pay for it, that means it's mine to eat?!
WHAT?!
He gets up fast and looks at us like a desperate man.
Bill: What do you say?! Let's ALL have a bite! I bet we can all split the cost!!
IS HE CRAZY ?! My thoughts are interrupted when Bill's face is slapped by Legoshi. That was sudden, but thanks!
Bill: What was that idiot?!
Legoshi: You're the idiot! Do you hear yourself right now?!
Bill: We're already here at the black market. I'm not about to let your ego get in my way!!
Legoshi shows his fangs and bristles threatening Bill, I can't help but bristle too.
Aoba: Legoshi! Hold down!
Aoba gets in the middle of them to avoid another fight.
Aoba: Sorry, I'd be at your side if we were at school.. but it's different here.
Legoshi: Aoba-..
Aoba: Look around you, this is the Black Market, and we're carnivores.
So what? That's not an excuse to stay here. Why do these guys like to break every rule and do the wrong thing?
Legoshi: You-.. You're really gonna.. eat it?
Bill: Of course we are!
Y/N: Why would you do that?! Are you listening to yourselves?
Bill: Oh, don't start.
Y/N: They're selling meat guys, meat! Louis was right, we should better get out of here at once!
Bill: Get off your high horses and mature guys at once! Didn't you see the main street? Everyone was having fun, peacefully. That's because the Black Market exists for us.
Y/N: Are you serious Bill? Do you think everyone lives in harmony because there are people killing innocent herbivores and selling their meat? Are you crazy?
Bill: Don't you get it? We're carnivores, it's in our nature to eat meat. The world isn't made of rainbows and candy. Grow up a little will ya?
This is all a fucking vicious circle, isn't it? According to them we don't bare to live without meat, that's what this market wants to make them believe... How can they not fear us if we behave like this?!
Legoshi: An adult?
Bill: Huh?
We all turn to see Legoshi, he's mad, I can see it.
Legoshi: Is THAT what it means to become an adult?!
Legoshi, annoyed, runs off... towards the market. Why is he going there?! I start running to Legoshi to tell him to run towards another direction, but then, Bill grabs me by the backpack, and pulls me to him so he can grab my arm and doesn't let me go.
Y/N: Grr let me go Bill!
Bill: No! I'm sick of you walking away! Since we've met, all you've done is getting away from me and be against everything I do!
Why does he come up with this topic? I hold his arm that he's holding me with and try to pull away.
Y/N: That's because you act like a jerk!
Bill: No, this time you WILL listen to me!
He pulls my arm toward him tighter. I don't know what he's trying to tell me, but I'm sick of everyone holding me trying to control me. I growl a little looking into the eye of the tiger.
Y/N: I'm not going to eat meat if you're trying to convince me.
Bill: Oh please! You have to stop being a coward! You never dare to do anything!
Y/N: Shut up Bill!
We pull each other while he tries to contain me and I try to get away from him, the other boys are just watching the scene, although they seem uncomfortable about what's happening.
Bill: That's why I ignored those rumors about you! Because I know you're a coward, it's pretty obvious that you couldn't have devoured Tem, if you don't even dare to eat a single finger!
Y/N: Let go of me!
Bill: You're weak, admit it!
Y/N: LET GO!
Tao: Hey, you should stop already Bill.
Aoba: Yeah that's enough.
His friends try to stop him, even they know that he's going too far.
Bill looks me in the eye with a predatory look, yet he still lets me go. So I hold my arm, which was starting to hurt a little.
Y/N: ... Eating meat doesn't make you strong. Unlike you, I do think that herbivores and carnivores, should be treated equally.
I look up at the boys, making my point clear.
Y/N: Over there... they're devouring people. Look around Bill.. All that meat was once a person. What? Don't you remember your friends? Ellen or... Louis?
I turn around and look towards the market where I can no longer find Legoshi, but anyway, I rather find the transport station by my own than staying here.
Y/N: I don't know about you... But I'm off...
I start to move away from them in another direction.
Bill: No wonder everyone talks about you behind your back. They're right, only your mother would want you close.
I stop. An intense tension abounds in my body, I close my fists and my fur bristles.
I turn around and run towards him, I'm so angry that I jump on him and push him to the ground despite my small size compared to his. I show my fangs and punch him as hard as I can. I'M. SICK. OF. HIM.
Tao and Aoba hold my arms trying to separate me from Bill, he also tries to stop me, but my anger makes me move quickly.
When Tao and Aoba hold me, I grasp my claws to Bill's chest, so they don't separate me from him. My anger, my hatred, is controlling me. I want to give Bill what he deserves. I'm so raged that I don't hear the boys screaming trying to stop me.
Nothing would have stopped me, but there was something I felt that made me react. I felt again how the red and warm liquid that runs inside Bill ran through my hands... His blood.
I feel my eyes pop out of my face and again I feel my heart skip a beat before beating at full speed.
I let go and got up quickly away from Bill... I did it again. Bill groans in pain as he gets up off the ground and looks at me with a grudge.
Bill: Who'd say? It seems that you aren't as innocent as you think huh?
Y/N: I-I... I didn't-..
Tao and Aoba look at me shocked, that I yelled at him at lunch is one thing but every time I get more and more violent.
Bill: Be more careful baby, don't end up killing someone.~
I hold my hands and bring them to my chest, trying to hide the blood that I spilled. Panic abounds again and the only thing I can do now ... is run away.
Bill: Damn why do wolves like to attack me lately?
