"So we'd team up with you guys and defeat one of the five emperors?!" Nami exclaimed. "That's ridiculous! I don't know what you're aiming at but don't do it Luffy! Don't be taken in by him!"
I had been staring at Law closely. There wasn't much I was able to tell what he was planning.
"I never said we'd just go and defeat an emperor! I meant we'd go by everything and develop a strategy to see if we can find our chance!" Law quickly called back, "What will it be, Straw Hat?"
I snorted immediately. Law must have some plan already, so saying we would develop a plan was likely just a ruse. However, the poor man has no idea how our Captain deals with plans. Hell, he has no idea how Luffy will view an alliance.
Should I warn Law what he's about to get into?
"That emperor..." Luffy asked, "Which one is that?"
I blinked, that was an interesting question from Luffy. I expected him to just agree right away.
Law explained some of his plan, and who he was intending to take down. During the whole explanation, I was still latched onto him, just waiting for him to protest and shove me off. It has surprised me that he hasn't reacted much yet, it's almost taking the fun out of it.
In the end I was relieved to hear that neither Shanks or Taro were included in Law's plans of emperors to take down.
"I see, ok!" Luffy smiled, "Let's do this!"
"What?!" Nami exclaimed in shock.
I snorted, "Ah, at least Luffy heard some of what is planned instead of just agreeing right away. Gotta give him props for that at least." I shrugged watching as she sighed in agreement. "Anyway, we should be heading back to the others. Franky, well technically Chopper's body, needs medical attention." Both Nami and Luffy jumped and rushed over to Franky, who was still unconscious.
The I looked up at Law, staring at him until he met my gaze. Instantly I hardened my gaze and the air shifted slightly as I made sure he knew I was being serious. "Ah, Law. Let me make one thing clear." He appeared to swallow and I could have sworn I saw a bead of sweat trail down his face as I glared at him. "If you intend on betraying my Captain, I won't give a shit about our friendship. I will fucking castrate you, as will the rest of my crew. Got it?"
"Yeah, Katsu-ya."
I smiled, hopping off of him and landing in the snow. "Good! Now come on, bestie! Let's go!-"
"Katsu!" I sighed as Luffy's arms wrapped around my waist and pulled me back over to him and placed me on his back. "You weren't supposed to leave my back!"
That took him a while to notice.
Chuckling I patted his head as he pouted, his thoughts likely going over the possibility that his meat may get cut. "Ah, ah, sorry Captain. I won't do that again, so no worries."

"We're forming an alliance with the heart pirates?!" Usopp and Chopper exclaimed in shock.
Upon entering the cave I was again let down and allowed to walk on the ground. It felt good to be able to stretch once more. Some part of me wondered if it would just be worth it to wear shoes, but the idea itself send nothing but disgust and anxiety through me.
So I trashed the idea once more.
"How come Saving Nami turned into something so eccentric?!" Usopp demanded, shaking Luffy back and forth. "How can I sleep peacefully at night when we're collaborating with that suspicious guy?! We don't even approve for him and Katsu's relationship!"
I rose my arm, "As a matter of fact, Law makes a grade seven point five out of ten for napping comfort. So I think you'll still sleep pretty fine."
Robin looked at me, "Have you rated everyone for their napping ability?"
"Stop that Katsu! You're not helping!" Usopp shouted back at me, "You know that's not what I mean!!" Then he paused for a moment before yelling again. "When the hell did you nap with him?!"
I ignored Usopp and nodded to Robin. "Ah, yeah. Chopper is ten, hands down, best napper. Zoro gets a nine point five.-"
"Nine point five?"
I nodded, "Yeah he went down a little because he woke me up once. Luffy gets a zero. Anytime I've tried to nap with him around it always ends with him demanding we play tag."
She nodded in understanding.
"Sanji..." I frowned, "Well he's normally in the kitchen so I haven't had the chance to try napping with him. But I feel like he would probably be like a six or seven, depending. You and Nami also have no rating, neither of you guys like napping." Robin chuckled at my comment. "Franky gets a eight, but only because he always makes sure to build a super comfy napping spot for me.-"
"Stop it Katsu! We have more important matters now!" Usopp turned away from Luffy to grab me by the front of my coat. "How did you let him form an alliance?!"
I blinked at him, crinkling my nose at him. "You're asking this to the person that also was all for letting a skeleton onto the ship. You should know by now I'm not going to stop anything our Captain wants to do."
He froze in consideration before nodding. "Yes, that is true, you're as bad as our Captain." He turned to look towards Nami. "We mustn't allow those two to go anywhere alone again."
That was probably good instincts.
"Luffy, I'll go along with your decision, but along with a pirate alliance comes betrayal. It might not be the best option for you, cine you rely on people too easily." Robin chimed in, looking from Luffy to Law.
Luffy looked over at Law in shock, "Huh? You'll betray us?"
Law looked at Luffy, then glanced at me before looking back. "No."
Immediately Luffy grinned in victory as if that simple 'No' told all it needed to. Usopp quickly voiced out complaints saying that wasn't enough to get him to trust him.
"No worries." I stated, "I already told Law that I would castrate him if he betrays Luffy. I wouldn't let our friendship stop me from doing that if he hurts our Captain."
Robin nodded proudly patting my head. "Good."
Usopp blanched at me, "What's wrong with you?!- Wait, friendship? Aren't you two dating or something?!"
I frowned at him, "No. He's my best friend, that's it."
"Anyway!" We turned to look back at Luffy as he crossed his arms over his chest. "Isn't it cool to have a pirate alliance?! I think Trafal-Guy's a good guy, but even if he isn't don't worry! I've got all of you with me! And we all trained for two years!"
I looked back at Law and let my smile drop for a moment before looking down at his crotch then back at his face. Just to further prove Luffy's comment and my threat real. He appeared to pale considerably before looking away.
I would be lying if I said I didn't have fun threatening Law a little. He wasn't necessary the easiest person to threaten, so it just added to my amusement that I was able to succeed.
"W-Why you, Luffy... You got me blushing!" Seeing Sanji's body do Chopper's little dance made it all more amusing.
"Well, you know, you can rely on us of course."
"O-Okay Luffy! Leave it to us!! If Zoro and the others get scared we'll convince them!"
I nearly laughed at Law's face. If he was shocked by that, then I can't wait to see his face when he realizes how an alliance with Luffy will actually end up working.
"Ah, Law, can you fix one of the problems you caused?" I smiled, pointing over towards the three mixed up bodies.
He nodded, holding out his hand. "Shambles."
Franky immediately ripped off the picture of Nami on his forehead. He did his signature pose with his forearms coming together. "I'm back!! My excellent body! I'm only suited to myself after all! SUUPER!"
"Good for you Franky. I don't ever want you to be in Chopper's body again." Robin smiled. "Ever."
I glanced over towards Sanji's body. Chopper and Franky had been switched back to their normal bodies, but Nami was placed inside of Sanji's body. I crouched beside her and patter her back as she cried.
"Let's just hope you don't end up having to pee." I stated, making her cry harder.
"Oh my god I didn't even think of that!" She sobbed, then gasped. "What if my body has to pee?!"
I paused then patted her back again. "Then we can punish Sanji."
It feels weird to comfort Nami while she is in Sanji's body.
"You should just be happy you returned to your own body, Chopper!" Nami yelled after hearing the three males yelling at each other. "Why did I just pass onto the next body?! First Franky, now Sanji-kun?!"
Chopper, Luffy, and Franky all responded by falling on the ground and laughing at Nami's pain. "You're just laughing because you have no idea what it's like!"
"Ah, I feel really bad for you Nami, I heard Mr. Husband stinks." I nodded in sympathy.
"Huh?" She looked at me, her one visible eye blinking in confusion. "Sanji-kun doesn't stink, he's the one guy who doesn't stink in the crew. Who told you that?"
I narrowed my eyes, "Mr. Hottie."
I wonder if he just sneezed?
Placing my hand on my chin and frowned. "Why did he say that Mr. Husband is smelly when he wasn't there?"
"So it's these kids..." Law mumbled.
"Yeah! I want to save them!" Luffy grinned, pointing at all of the sleeping kids.
"You should just leave such a burden." I frown at Law's comment. "They seem to be reliant on drugs."
"Oi," I cut in, scowling at the Captain doctor, who glanced at me. "That's a shitty mentality to have."
If Mamoru and Taro had thought the same way I would have been left on that ship.
"Turning humans into giants is a world government research that's been in development since hundreds of years ago." Law explained.
"The government has? But why would they?" Robin frowned, shaking her head.
"Probably for soldiers. If they can make as many giant soldiers as they want, no one can oppose the government." Law answered, "There were rumors of kids being taken years ago and experimented to become strong soldiers which nobody would be able to oppose. Though no evidence was ever found on that, so I'm not completely sure if that rumor is true or not."
"My guess is Caesar is trying to succeed in making the giants. Omasu... I'm not really sure what he's planning, but I've seen the body count that's been piling up from his experiments." Law explained. "I think they're trying to beat the government and Vegapunk, but it doesn't seem to be going that well."
"The bodies piling up?" Nami asked, narrowing her eyes.
"Yeah, most I've seen have been kids." Law sighed, looking back towards Luffy. "Do you really want to save them? You don't even know where they're from."
"Of course we're fucking saving them." I growled out, glaring at Law. "Stop asking that. There's no fucking way I would just leave behind those kids at this point. Especially not with knowledge of that bastard doctor." There was a tremble in my hand again.
I hate being afraid.
"We have no idea who these kids are, but they cried and asked us to save them." Nami explained. "It seems the masters took them here by fooling them, but even they are starting to realize there's something strange going on at that facility. Until we can guarantee the safety of these kids we can't leave this island!"
I felt myself freeze up at the thought of staying behind. That was not on my list. The first thing I wanted to do is leave.
"If need be..." I mumbled, "Mamoru might be willing to help out, if we can't find their homes."
That's better than being left here. Plus, Mamoru dealt with me without memories and all of my issues. He would likely be able to handle a bunch of kids that are withdrawing from drugs.
"We're not leaving anyone behind. If Nami, Chopper, and Katsu want to do that. Then so do I." Luffy said, making me shake my head and take a deep breath.
I think this will forever be my least favorite island.
"Also, Sanji wanted to hand on to that Samurai. If you're going to form an alliance with us, help us out here!!" Luffy grinned as he looked expectantly at Law.
I found a smirk forming on my face as I looked over at Law's shocked face.
"Ah... I'll just inform you here, but the alliance Luffy's thinking of is probably a bit different from what you're thinking." Usopp came up from behind Luffy and pointed at Luffy and Law.
"It's like being friends, right?" Luffy asked as he picked his nose.
"Also, don't bother thinking you'll get to take the lead in this." Usopp continued.
"That's right." Luffy confirmed.
Law looked over at me as if he was asking me for confirmation. He appeared to pale a bit when I smiled and nodded.
"Katsu-ya, why didn't you explain to me about your Captain?" He mumbled looking troubled.
I shrugged, "You didn't ask."
Plus this is far more amusing to see the realization hit him. He has already basically agreed to the alliance so technically he can't back out of it now.
"This isn't even the start of how stubborn he is!" Usopp continued, "You can say his selfishness is emperor-class already!"
"But... you friends request has nothing to do with the alliance." Law tried to give an excuse. However with another look at me, and seeing my smirk, he sighed and hung his head in defeat. "Ah, never mind. Got it. We haven't got time. Then you guys do something about the samurai!"
I reached up on my toes and patted Law on the head as he passed me. "You do learn quickly!"
"I'll figure out what medicine the kids were given. Who's your doctor? Come with me, we'll have to go behind Caesar's back."
My lips twitched as Usopp placed Chopper on Law's hat. "Sorry, I can't move right now so I'm leaving things to you!" Chopper said.
I tilted my head at Law as his eyes widened and his whole body quivered. He must think this is all absurd. "Ah, I promise it's not as bad as it seems." I grinned watching as he looked at me.
"I should have known you wouldn't join a regular crew..." He sighed.
I looked up at Chopper, "You comfy up there, Doctor Chopper? I think the hat provides some nice cushion." The reindeer nodded to my question.

In the end Law refused to keep Chopper on his head and instead tied the reindeer up and hung him from his sword. Before any of us were to leave though Law wanted to make sure we were all informed.
As we already knew, Law told us that Caesar wants us dead and to get the children back. According to Law, he'll keep attacking us because this island is the perfect hiding spot for him and for Omasu. On top of that, he has the gas gas devil fruit.
Apparently it is similar to mine, but his allows him to turn into his element as well as control multiple types of gas. Unfortunately, Law admitted to not knowing much on Omasu. The most he claimed to know was that the man seemed nuts and as said before has a large body count. However, Caesar seemed to respect the man and both work together for many things.
To make things worse, Law told us we're to 'kidnap' both of these guys.
Which means in the end, even if I do manage to escape this island I'm not actually escaping the people I wish to get away from.
"The ones who can use haki here are me, Zoro, Sanji, and Katsu... and you I suppose." Luffy explained to Law after his explanation.
"Well, that'll do. I'll go on ahead towards the research facility." Law said.
"So we just have to kidnap these master guys, right?" Luffy smiled, seeming to find this easy.
"That's right." Law nodded, "We haven't achieved anything yet, so there's no sense in telling you the rest now. For now just focus on capturing Caesar and Omasu. It won't be easy."
I held up my arm, "Yeah, question?"
"What, Katsu-ya?"
"Do we absolutely have to take Omasu? Can we maybe just like... leave him... in the cold... to rot and die?"
"No." Law deadpanned, making me sag in disappointment and sigh.
"When we do kidnap them I'll tell you my plans in detail. However, once we have successfully kidnapped them things will start moving, and fast." I frowned at Law's explanation. "Once we get there there's no going back!"
I rose my arm again, "Yeah, follow up question."
"What?"
"Do we have to keep the psycho doctor for the rest of our lives? Or will we get the opportunity to get rid of him at some point?"
By now Law seemed to take notice of my dislike for the doctors. "What's wrong? Why are you acting like that? Normally you're all for doing this kind of stuff."
I shrugged and looked away, "Never mind."
"Now's the time to change your mind." Law looked back towards Luffy.
"It's fine! We'll team up with you guys!" Luffy grinned.
I sighed, already disliking the plan. I don't want to be stuck on our ship with crazy doctors. The thought alone is making my stomach tie up in knots.
Already sensing my rising fear Luffy let out a laugh and wrapped his arm around my shoulder. "No worries, Katsu! You're gonna be sticking close by to me, so I'll make sure nothing happens. You can be a coward."
Who would have thought being told by their Captain that they can be a coward would be reassuring?
