Clara's POV
The Doctor comes on Christmas Eve and that's the time I don't have something prepared... I sigh, coming back to the living room, where the Doctor was talking with Artie about something.
"Oh Clara, the Doctor was just explaining about Quantum Physics." Artie answered the unasked question.
"Well Artie, you have a Christmas party today so have fun and don't start talking about smart stuff." Artie nodded before running outside to the car.
"Well Clara, I know it's not a Wednesday, but I came to give you your Christmas present." He explained his presence as he took out a wrapped box.
"Doctor, you didn't have to!" I said, slowly opening the wrapping paper to reveal a velvet box. I opened it and it contained a ring.
"Will you, Clara Oswald, marry me?" He asked, getting on one knee.
"Well... I don't know..." I teased, pretending to think about his offer.
"Please?"
"Yes Chinny, I do." He stood up and that was my time to move. "Here's my Christmas present." I leaned in and kissed him.
For someone that thinks Romance is a touchy subject, he's not a bad kisser.
