-Later that evening-
8:20pm
Lissy- "Dad"?
Dad- "What is it" I asked looking up from doing some paper work at the same table where she was.
Lissy- "Can I be done"?
Dad- "Did you finish your essay"?
Lissy- "No"
Dad- "Then no. I told you that it needs to be done in order for you to leave the table"
Lissy- "But I want to be done"
Dad- "You could've had it done earlier but you chose not to do it when you were told to do it"
Lissy- "But this is boring"
Dad- "Its not meant to be fun Allyssa"
Lissy- "Daaaad"
Dad- "The longer you complain the longer you will be there"
Lissy- "Can't I finish it tomorrow"?
Dad- "No Allyssa, tonight"
Lissy- "Why do you have to be so mean"? I mumbled softly
Dad- "I am not even close to being mean but if you keep up this attitude then I can be mean"
Lissy- I rolled my eyes
Dad- "You can keep rolling your eyes and have attitude but it will just add to your consequences"
Lissy- "whatever"
Dad- "Allyssa lose the attitude. I won't ask you again"
Lissy- "Geez you don't have to be a *b*tch" I mumbled
Dad- "Get up" I said getting up from where I was sitting
Lissy- "Please Dad" I said knowing that I pushed it too far
Dad- "Get up" I said sternly walking towards here
Lissy- I stayed in my seat
Dad- I grabbed her bicep and pulled her out of her seat not harshly but not gently either. I turned her around and placed ten hard swats onto her bottom while still holding onto her arm firmly but not to the point where it would hurt her.
Lissy- "owwww......Dad"
Dad- "I'm sick and tired of you having attitude and being disrespectful towards me" I said as I placed five more hard swats onto her bottom.
Lissy- "i'm sorry"
Dad- "I highly doubt that you are sorry" I said as I placed five more hard swats onto her bottom.
Lissy- "Owwww...Daaaad"
Dad- "Your attitude and disrespectfulness ends now. If you give me any more disrespectfulness or attitude you wont be sitting comfortably. Am I understood"? I said placing another five hard swats onto her bottom
Lissy- I nodded my head
Dad- "Verbal response" I said sternly as I placed two hard swats onto the middle of her bottom
Lissy- "Yes Sir" I replied
Dad- I placed ten more swats onto her bottom and then said "You are going to sit down at this table and finish your essay. Do you understand"?
Lissy- "Yes Sir"
Dad- I released my hold on her
Lissy- I sat down into the chair and wiped my tears away
Dad- "I hate doing that to you but you have been warned many times to drop the attitude"
Lissy- "Yes Sir"
Dad- "I will bring you some water" I said then kissing her head and heading to the kitchen.
8:30pm
-An hour and half later-
10:00pm or so
Lissy- "I'm finished" I said
Dad- "Go ahead and print it out so I can read it"
Lissy- "Yes Sir" I said as I clicked on the print button and went where the printer was located and grabbed the paper after it was finished. I went over to where my Dad was and gave him the paper.
-Few minutes later-
Dad- "Good job Allyssa"
Lissy- "thanks"
Dad- "Was it that hard to write this"?
Lissy- "No"
Dad- "I don't want a repeat of this. Do you understand"?
Lissy- "Yes Sir"
Dad- "Now for your consequence for cheating"
Lissy- "Do we have to"?
Dad- "Yes we do. I can't let you get away with cheating"
Lissy- "But you already made me write the essay"
Dad- "The essay was for your attitude towards it not the cheating part"
Lissy- "oh"
Dad- "You know that I don't condone cheating. You are getting 45 and 10 with the belt"
Lissy- "Yes Sir"

Dad- "You know that I love you"
Lissy- "I do and I'm sorry"
Dad- "Your forgiven. You are still grounded until further notice and you are to write those apologies letters to your teachers this weekend. Got it"?
Lissy- "Yes Sir"
Dad- "Head off to bed, it's late"
Lissy- "Yes Sir"
Dad- "Night sweetie"
