Dad- "Let's go Allyssa" I said going into my office after coming back from doing some work stuff
Lissy- (no response) I got up from my seat and grabbed my stuff and followed him out of the office.

Dad- "Living room" I said as we entered the house
Lissy- "Fine" I said plopping myself down on the couch
Dad- "Did you finish the writing assignment I asked you to do"?
Lissy- "Kinda"
Dad- "What does kinda mean"?
Lissy- "I kinda did it"
Dad- "What part did you do"?
Lissy- (no response)
Dad- "I asked you a question"
Lissy- (no response)
Dad- "Let me ask you this question. Did you even do the essay"?
Lissy- (no response)
Dad- "I'll take that silence as a no then"?
Lissy- (no response)
Dad- "Why didn't you do what I asked you to do"?
Lissy- "Because I don't see the point of doing it"
Dad- "Because you were told to do something and you were supposed to do it"
Lissy- (no response)
Dad- "You are still doing that essay"
Lissy- "But....."
Dad- "Not buts about it Allyssa"
Lissy- "Its going to take me forever to do"
Dad- "You should've started on it when you first told to do it"
Lissy- "How am I supposed to do it? If I don't have my laptop to do it"?
Dad- "You can use my laptop which I can monitor and make sure that is the only thing you are using it for"
Lissy- "You are being unfair"!
Dad- "I dont care if you think I'm being fair or not Allyssa"
Lissy- "But 500 words is gonna take forever"
Dad- "Stop being dramatic about it Allyssa"
Lissy- I rolled my eyes and crossed my arms in frustration.
Dad- "I can make it two pages instead of one if you want to keep having attitude about it"
Lissy- "Please don't"
Dad- "Then enough on the attitude"
Lissy- "Fine....whatever. Can I go"?
Dad- "Not yet. We still need to discuss a few things"
Lissy- "Like what"?
Dad- "The notes you got from school"
Lissy- "How did you......what notes"?
Dad- "Don't try lying to me about it Allyssa"
Lissy- "I honestly don't know what you are talking about"
Dad- "Allyssa McGarrett"?
Lissy- "Alright fine! I know about the notes"
Dad- "How come you didn't tell me about them"?
Lissy- "I forgot to give it to you and I already gave it back to the teacher"
Dad- "If I'm not mistaken but when you get a note that is sent home from school. Usually the parent has to sign it"?
Lissy- (no response)
Dad- "What happened there"?
Lissy- (no response)
Dad- "I want an answer Allyssa McKenzie McGarrett"
Lissy- "i forged your signature" I mumbled quietly
Dad- "What was that"?
Lissy- "I forged your signature on the notes"
Dad- "Did I hear you right? You forged my signature on the notes you received then returned them"?
Lissy- I nodded my head
Dad- "Allyssa"
Lissy- "Yes Sir"
Dad- "What were you thinking"?! I raised my voice
Lissy- "I......wasn't thinking"
Dad- "Clearly you weren't thinking. How many notes did you forge my signature on? And I want the truth"
Lissy- "ten" I said softly
Dad- "Ten"?
Lissy- "Yes Sir"
Dad- "I honestly don't know what to say Allyssa"
Lissy- "Dad I'm sorry"
Dad- "Are you even sorry? Or are you sorry that you got caught and you have big consequences coming to you"
Lissy- (no response)
Dad- "What classes did you receive the notes from"?
Lissy- "All of them"
Dad- "You only have six classes"
Lissy- "Yeah I got more notes in a couple of classes than the others"
Dad- "What were in these notes"?
Lissy- (no response)
Dad- "What were in those notes Allyssa"?
Lissy- "Regarding my behavior"
Dad- "I'm guessing that they were bad behavior because usually they don't send a note home regarding good behavior. Am I right"?
Lissy- I nodded my head
Dad- "Try answering me again"
Lissy- "Yes Sir"
Dad- "Let me get this straight. You had multiple notes sent home regarding your behavior which I didn't know of. Second you forge my signature on all them and returned them acting as if I read and signed them. Thirdly, you didnt study for the test you had in math and lied to me about it when I asked you about it. Fourth, you decided that you only option was to cheat on the test"
Lissy- (no response)
Dad- "I am very disappointed in your behavior and actions this past week Allyssa. On top of cheating I had to find out that you forge my signature on notes that I had no clue of"
Lissy- (no response)
Dad- "You are grounded until further notice. No phone, no tv, no computer, no iPad, nothing at all for a long time. You will have extra chores during that time as well. Do you understand"?
Lissy- I nodded
Dad- "Verbal response Allyssa"
Lissy- "Yes Sir"
Dad- "This weekend you are going to be writing a letter to the principal and all of your teachers apologizing for your behavior and attitude towards them. Then on Monday you will give them the letters. Do I make myself clear"?
Lissy- "Yes Sir"
Dad- "You are to never and I mean never forge my signature on anything. Do you understand me"?
Lissy- "Yes sir"
Dad- "If you do, I can promise you that you wont like the consequences that would follow it. Am I clear"?
Lissy- "Yes Sir"
Dad- "I want you sit at the table and write that essay that was supposed to be done by the time we got home. And you are not allowed to get up until it is finished"
Lissy- "Yes Sir"
Dad- "After that is done we are still going to discuss you cheating"
Lissy- "Yes Sir"
What kind of punishment does Lissy deserve for cheating???
