Dad- I crossed my arms against my chest. I looked at Lissy angrily.
Lissy- "Dad I....."
Dad- I held up my hand to stop her. "Not a word Allyssa"
Lissy- I looked down at my fingers which were in my lap.
Dad- "I don't know where to start Allyssa. I'm very angry with you"
Lissy- (no response)
Dad- "The reason I'm angry is because the way you behaved tonight and what you told Grace about her parents. That was uncalled for"
Lissy- (no response)
Dad- "I want to know why you would say that"
Lissy- "I didn't mean to say it. She was getting under my skin and I said the meanest thing that I could think of"
Dad- "I understand that you were upset at her but the way you handled the situation wasn't okay"
Lissy- (no response)
Dad- I sighed. "You are going to apologize to Grace for what you said to her"
Lissy- "Why should I"?
Dad- "Because what you said was rude and not okay"
Lissy- "But she was rude to me too"
Dad- "Danny will handle it but you are going to apologize for what you said. End of discussion"
Lissy- "Your being unfair"!
Dad- "Change your tone of voice Allyssa"
Lissy- "Dad I dont see why I have to apologize when it wasn't a big deal"
Dad- "You hurt Grace feelings"
Lissy- "What about my feelings? You dont seem to care that my feelings were hurt when you didn't believe me"
Dad- "I'm sorry Allyssa but let me remind you that in the past you have claim to be telling me the truth and ended up you lying to me. Next time I will double check before I react"
Lissy- (no response)
Dad- "But you are going to apologize to her and to Uncle Danny. Do you understand"?
Lissy- "yeah whatever"
Dad- "Excuse me"?
Lissy- "Yes Sir"
Dad- "As your behavior tonight you are grounded for one week"
Lissy- "A week"!
Dad- "I could make it longer which it should be but I won't. If you keep up this attitude then I will make it longer"
Lissy- "Fine and I'm sorry for the way I behaved"
Dad- "I forgive you"
Lissy- "Why is she trying to get me into trouble"?
Dad- "I don't know Lissy. Did you like your Christmas gifts"?
Lissy- "I love them. Thank you Dad"
Dad- "Your welcome. It's getting late. Time for you to head to bed"
Lissy- "Kay. Night Dad"
Dad- "Night Lissy. Love you" I said kissing her on the head
Lissy- "Love you too" I said kissing him on the check then heading upstairs.
-Meanwhile at The William House-
Danny- "Sit we need to talk" I said as we entered into the house
Grace- I sat down
Danny- "Why would you say to Lissy that we knew something was wrong"?
Grace- "Because the way she behaved towards me".
Danny- "Steve is going to handle it but what you did was wrong as well"
Grace- "What did I do"?
Danny- "You could've avoided all of this if you didn't look through the gifts and try to get Lissy into trouble"
Grace- "But she wouldn't accept my apology"
Danny- "Do you blame her for not accepting it"
Grace- "It was her own fault for being in trouble before we got there"
Danny- "Grace William lose the attitude"
Grace- "Sorry".
Danny- "You both were out of line. Not more than the other"
Grace- (no response)
Danny- "Your punishment still stands. Grounded for one week"
Grace- "Not suprised"
Danny- "What was that"?
Grace- "Nothing"
Danny- "Go get ready for bed Monkey"
Grace- "Night Danno"
Danny- "Night Monkey. Love you"
Grace- "Love you too Danno"
The girls end up apologize to each other but I decided not to write
