Dad- I got up earlier than usual and went for a run along the beach. I came back and took a shower.

Dad- "Morning Lissy. Merry Christmas" I said coming out of the bathroom after getting dressed
Lissy- "Morning Dad. Merry Christmas" I said sitting on his bed
Dad- "Did you sleep well"? I asked putting on my watch
Lissy- "Uh huh. You"? I asked
Dad- "I did. What do you want for breakfast"? I asked
Lissy- "Chocolate pancakes" I said
Dad- "Then let's go make them"

Lissy- "How come Junior isnt here"? I asked as went downstairs
Dad- "He is with his parents" I said
Lissy- "Oh okay" I said
Dad- "Do you want to add anything to the pancakes"
Lissy- "Chocolate chips and strawberries"
Dad- "Here cut up the strawberries into slices"
Lissy- "Okay"
-5 minutes later-
-Breakfast-
Dad- We were sitting down and eating our pancakes.
Lissy- "This is good Dad"
Dad- "We did it together"
Lissy- "We make a good team"
Dad- "I agree with you"
Lissy- "What are we doing after this"
Dad- "Well there is something we need to discuss first. Then we will watch a movie then open gifts"
Lissy- "What do we need to discuss"? I asked nervously
Dad- "What happened yesterday"
Lissy- "Oh"
Dad- "Dont worry you are not in trouble for the gifts"
Lissy- "Huh"?
Dad- "Danny called me last night informing me that Grace told him that she was the one who messed up the gifts"
Lissy- "See I told you that I didnt do it"
Dad- "And I apologize but the way you behaved and acted wasn't right"
Lissy- "How do you expect me to act. You didnt believe me"
Dad- "Talk to me in a respectful tone"
Lissy- "Like that would make a difference. You sent your mind to believing that I was the one who messed up the gifts"
Dad- "You were looking through the gifts before, am I correct"?
Lissy- "Yeah I guess so"
Dad- "Let's forget about this, okay? Let's enjoy the rest of the day"?
Lissy- "Okay"
Dad- "What movie do you want to watch"?
Lissy- "Rudolph the Red Reindeer"
Dad- "We should clean up from breakfast before watching the movie so we dont have to do it later"
Lissy- "Do we have to"?
Dad- "Yes we do"
Lissy- "Fine"
-Later On-
Lissy- I went into the living room to put the movie on. I turned on Netflix and scroll to the Christmas Movies. I pressed on Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer.
Dad- I popped some popcorn and grabbed some other snacks and hot chocolate.
Lissy- We sat on the couch with popcorn, junk food, and our hot chocolate I snuggled against my Dad.
Dad- Ahhhhh.....this is amazing. I love cuddling and hanging out with my Lissy.
-47 minutes later-
-Movie Ends-
Dad- "Do you want to watch another movie"?
Lissy- "Sure"
Dad- "You pick"
Lissy- I scrolled through Netflix and decided on the Grinch.
-1 hour and 32 minutes later-
-Movie ends-
Lissy- "Can we watch another movie"?
Dad- I nodded my head
Lissy- I clicked on Christmas Carol
-1 hour and 35 minutes later-
Lissy- Then we watch ELF
-1 hour and 37 minutes later-
Dad- "Danny and Grace should be here soon"
Lissy- "Then we can open the gifts"!
Dad- "Would you like to make cookies before they come then we can decorate the cookies"?
Lissy- "Sure"
*Kitchen*
Lissy- We began mixing the cookie dough while listening to Christmas music. Also cutting and baking the cookies as well.
-Later on-
Doing Dong
Lissy- "I'll get it"
Dad- "Thanks Lissy" I said putting another tray of cookies in
-Living Room-
Lissy- I opened the door and said "Merry Christmas Uncle Danny and Grace"
Danny- "Merry Christmas Lissy"
Grace- "Merry Christmas Lissy"
Steve- "Merry Christmas Danny and Grace"
Grace- "Merry Christmas Uncle Steve"
Danny- "Merry Christmas Steve"
Lissy- "Geez I can't see you behind all the gifts"
Danny- "Grace wanted to bring her gifts here as well. So her gifts are mixed in here as well of yours and Steve"
Eddie- "Roof"!
Grace- "You too Eddie"
Eddie- "Roof"!
Steve- "That's no problem"
Danny- I set the gifts down by the tree and said "Mmmmmmm...something smells good"
Steve- "Its the cookies that you smell"
Lissy- "Let's decorate them"
Danny- "Before we do that Grace has something she would like to say"
Grace- "I'm sorry for messing up the gifts and trying to get you into trouble Lissy"
Steve- "I forgive you"
Lissy- (no response) At first I wasn't mad at Grace but now I am.
Steve- "Lissy"?
Lissy- "Well I don't forgive you. Why would you do that"?!
Grace- "I'm really sorry Lissy"
Lissy- "You made me miss opening one gift last night"
Grace- I looked down
Lissy- "Why should I forgive her? She almost got me into trouble for something I didn't do"
Grace- "I'm sorry you had to miss opening one gift Lissy"
Lissy- "No your not. You only apologizing because Uncle Danny is making you. Your not even sorry"! I yelled as I ran upstairs to my room and shutting the door.
Steve- "Allyssa come back here please"!!
