-CHARLES-
My family and I are invited to celebrate New year at the Millers.
It is an honour to get inside Special Agent Miller's home. I mean, he is like an inspiration for me.
-Ever since I've worked with him, I noticed how much I admire him. He risks his life for a job and still acts like life is very simple. This man has no fear at all.-
Right now, I'm sitting in the sofa beside my parents, who are talking cheerfully with Mr. and Mrs. Miller.
Creed and Amanda are somewhere else, talking about things I don't understand. -I am left out again.-
"I hope my son isn't bothering you, Heathen." My dad says, although he knows I am not doing anything wrong. -Thanks dad for trusting me this much.-
Mr. Miller smiles and shakes his head.
"No, not at all! He really helps the organisation and me. We've got all the informations and evidences we need. Charles and I talked about some days ago. It is settled. We can finally take down the troublemakers. I can assure you that your son will save tons of people in the future, Kenneth."
I smile as he proudly explains the hard work we've been going through for years.
- Thank God, I have finally found the hidden motive! It shocked me too, but I was already expecting that... It took us so long to find out, since the CIA was wise enough to cover the truth. However, they are just humans too and make mistakes... They forgot one detail and that is, what I've found after several attempts of breaking their code and spying our suspects.-
"No way!" My mom gasps beside me. "Charlie?"
-Darn it. Mom is really careful about stuffs like this and doesn't want me to get involved with hacking. But it's my work ma.-
I internally curse as my dad turns to look at me as well. "I know, I've promised you that I'll stay away from the political things. You think I might be in danger-"
"You are in danger! You brought yourself into this along with us." My dad cuts me off and glares at me with his piercing blue orbs.
-I knew, that he didn't accept it in the first place. He just acted like a supportive dad, but in reality, he's just a show off.-
Mrs. Miller must have noticed that I feel uncomfortable around my parents, cause she gently squeezes my hand. "Your Son is a genius and a blessed child. You really raised him well, Debra."-Atleast someone has my back.-
"I know, but I'm just worried that things might get too hazardous." My mom sighs, while Mrs. Miller tries to comfort her.
I sense Creed and Amanda finally paying attention to us, as they slowly take a sit. -I admit, it bothers me a lot that my brother is close to her.-
"What exactly did you find out?" My old man turns to look at me.
I hate his two-faced side, but in respect I try my best to talk to him. Before I can even inform him, I look over to Mr. MIller for permission. He simply nods at me.
"It's about Mr. Johnson and Mr. Cohen." I sense Amanda staring at me. -Why doesn't that surprise me?-
"The business man and the police officer." My dad says and we nod.
I get distracted by Creed as he points at Amanda. She looks shocked and confused at the same time.
-I knew it. Of course, those dick heads won't tell her the truth. What wise asses they are!-
"We knew something was wrong with one of the CIA special agents. There is a specific group of traitors, who can cause trouble in the future. He was a new recruiter and it seemed like he won their trust." Mr. Miller continues.
"In other words, the police officer was a Special Agent."
"Right." Mr. Miller nods. "Blythe Cohen was a well-known businessman. Nobody really knew anything about him. It reminds me a lot of this quote: 'Behind all pretty faces, lives a demon.' With all his fame and mysterious past, no one could've guessed that he's actually a mafia boss."
Amanda gasps and covers her mouth as I caught her.
"The CIA accepted a man, named Jedrek Conwell. A quiet man." I continue. "He's actually an undercover agent for the mafia and that involves Blythe Cohen. If the CIA doesn't find out soon, what dangerous intentions he has, the people will be in danger. Weapons and all the informations will go in the wrong hands."
"Unbelievable..." For the first time ever, I spot fear in my father's eyes.
"What makes you so sure?" My mom asks me with concern.
"I found hidden files that were about to be taken down. There are some personal conversations and biographies of each member. Mr. Miller also made sure our team kept an eye on him. As predicted, he isn't as innocent as we taught. Jedrek has been spotted in hidden basements, outside New York for several times."

-RAVEN-
"Get that out of my fucking bio!" Lance growls at Christopher, who's smiling all widely.
"You're a bad loser! We made a bet and you better keep that!" The teenager yells back.
Lance stares at his phone one more time and groans. "Who the fuck comes up with this?: "I am a size double D. Hit me up boys~ " and adds a freaking random man as my profile picture!? You are literally ruining my social media life!"
-The Clarke brothers made a bet about irrelevant stuffs. If I say irrelevant then I mean it. Who bets over a damn 'Try not to laugh' video?-
Troy and I laugh at the Childman, who's internally dying as he reads it over and over again.
"Some random ass guy just slides into my dm's!" He suddenly screams.
"Really?" His brother victoriously laughs.
"Read it!" Troy adds, laughing with the little devil.
Lance cringes with his shoulders as he reads out loud. "Hey beautiful- ARGH!" He suddenly tosses his phone away and crawls into a bawl.
-Pathetic.-
As my cousins and brother continue roasting the moron, I decided to prepare our meal. It's New Year after all.
-A new start... Heh, Amanda Miller. Can't believe you really kissed me... you sure know what kills me. When can I finally make you mine?... I wonder what you're doing? Are you thinking about me too? Are you eating already?... Do you still remember that rosay is my birthday?-
I catch myself smiling as I think about her.
A sudden door slam, makes me turn around. I spot Lance glaring at me. "You have that creepy smile again."
-Gawd...-
"Shut up."

-BLAKE-
After reading a bunch of New Year's greetings, I shut my phone off and rest my damn eyes.
-It's hard being popular amongst ladies. They keep you up all night... New Year? Shit... It is the day the world got cursed by fucking Johnson.-
I'm tired as fuck. My head hurts about the thought of 'Charles and Amanda'.
I can just hope that I'm misunderstanding things.
-There is no way she'll chose him over me!-
I just realised. I changed. Who could've known? All thanks to Cupcake. She's the clumsy, nerdy and naivest person I've ever met, but also the cutest and loveliest babe on earth.
-Argh, it is frustrating me! Why did I have to be the last to meet her? Why were Moores and Johnson ahead of me? It fucking sucks!-
"Blake?" I hear my mom knocking on my room and I forcefully sit up right from my bed.
"Come in."
She marches towards me and smiles. I return it, because she's my mom. I can't ignore her. "Aren't you going to eat with us?"
-Almost forgot that.- I hate to disappoint her, but I'm not in the mood eating infront of Rich.
"No. I'm not hungry." I shortly say and as I predicted her lips turn into a frown.
"But it is New Year...."
"I know. " I smile and stand up. I sense her staring at me as I walk towards the window. "But I really don't feel like eating." I lie.
-I just don't like Rich near me. It's not her fault that we hate each other.-
I hear my mom sigh and expected her to leave, but instead of that she apologises. "I'm sorry."
-Sorry?- I feel my heart racing for some weird reasons. I admit, I'm surprised.
-Why would mom apologise?-
"About what?" I spot her still sitting on my bed. Her eyes are on the floor though.
She then looks up and weakly smiles. I notice how her green orbs are shining along with the tears around it. "About not being there for you everytime." -What?-
"I'm confused."
She carefully places her hand on her baby bump. It doesn't bother me as much as it did before. Believe it or not, I am quite excited having a sibling. I always wondered what it would be like having one.
"You aren't happy with the decision I've made."
I bawl my hands into fists and try my best to keep my cool. -'No shit. You married a man I despise the most.'- "About Richard Anderson? Yes."
"Blake." She looks beggingly at me.
I hate it, when she does that. "Sorry."
"I understand that you're not fine with it. I am really sorry for being such a terrible mother. I want to make it all up and hope you can forgive me one day." She stands up and gently hugs me as she pats my head. "I love you. Don't forget that."
I feel the anger crawling inside of me. It hurts a lot, but I learned to respect my mother. No matter how far this all goes, she's the only family I have left.
I smile and gently hug her back. "I love you too, mom."

-AMANDA-
-I am totally shocked. I don't know what to to do now. Charles and my dad knew about Raven and Blake... Why wasn't I informed beforehand? Why am I always the last to find out? It really sucks... Especially, now that my father forbid me from seeing Raven and Blake, all thanks to that damn mission!... Making it worse, today is Raven's birthday...-
"Are you alright?" I sense Charles creeping behind me and quickly wipe my eyes dry.
"Yep." I continue staring at the blank sky outside my window.
He carefully sits beside me. "I'm sorry."
"Why are you apologising?" I finally stare at him and our eyes lock.
He acts kinda weird. He's not that self- confident boy I know anymore. "I wanted to tell it to you sooner, but-"
"My dad told you not to."
"Yes."
"That's fine. He always does that." I sigh. "I'm always the last to find out."
He remains silent for a while with his eyes are still pierced at me. I try my best to ignore it and stare outside.
"About Raven and Blake." He then says. "What is going to happen now?"
-Is he for real now?-
"My dad is an FBI agent. He knows me way too good and can stalk me anytime." I weakly smile.
-I'm honest though. It's either I get in trouble and pull the two of them into this... or I keep my distance and no one gets hurt... As I know my dad, he's very protective and doesn't want me to do anything with them... It is unfair, but what should I do? He's my father. -
"Right." He shortly replies. "Aren't you atleast going to say your goodbyes?"
His sudden words startle me, making me look at him. -Did he just say that?-
"Don't you hate them?"
"Yeah, I do." He says with out hesitaing. "But I think they deserve at least a 'goodbye'."
-So, he hates them, but still treats them nicely?... it's weird. But I like that about him.-
I smile at him. "You're kind."
His cheeks light up and he looks away from me. "Says you."
-Charles is right. I can't just disappear with out saying goodbye. It hurts really bad and I don't want to do this. But I can't cause them any trouble. My dad is going to haunt them if I don't. He thinks, I'm in danger if I hang out with them....-
"I guess, I really should tell them." I say and bite my bottom lip. -Don't cry, don't cry!-
"If you tell them." He says and I stare at him. His blue orbs turn dark as he stares back. "Make sure you don't regret it." -What is this sudden please?-
"Why are you-" I widen my eyes at him.
He cuts me off with a small smile on his face. " Because I don't want you to be sad once you've let go. I want to see you smile and make sure you made the right decision."
-Huh!? What is wrong now?... What is this feeling?-
"I don't understand-"
"I love you, Amanda." He spontaneously smiles, making me blush. "I would give you everything, if I could...There's one thing I can't give you though and that is to turn back time. I cannot give you Blake or Raven back, once we get together... I know, I've asked this before, but would you go out with me?"
