After lunch we left my house
Then we went to three of Umar's mum's sisters and Daddy's older brother's houses
By the time we were done it was almost 5:30
"We're dropping by at the office, I need to pick up a file" he told me
I nodded and within five minutes we reached his office
Most people were rushing to leave
the office and it was almost empty
We reached the elevator and we went to last floor
I somehow ended up the one in front and him following behind me
Immediately I entered I stopped dead in my tracks
Nafisa was seating on Khadija's table, crossed leg in a short red dress eating an Apple
I already guessed Mary and Khadija won't be around so I expected them not to be here
But what I didn't expect was to see Nafisa here
"Hey baby" she said

I turned to look at Umar and instead of a frown on his face I saw a look of Amusement
So like, I'm the only one not finding this funny?
"Nafisa?" he addressed
He brushed past me and he walked to her
She smiled and she dropped off the table
She walked towards him before she wrapped her arms around his neck and she planted a big fat kiss right on his lips

First of all, what the hell is going on?!
What a good day for me
I didn't even know what to do at that exact moment
What the hell was i supposed to do?
I walked past them and I entered Umar's office before I closed the door behind me
I shouldn't let this get to me
What?, I should let this get to me!
She's mad
They are both mad
I'm married to him for God's sake
It doesn't seem like both of them know that!
At this moment I could strangle anyone who comes through that door
If my face could turn red from anger it would have turned ever redder than her stupid dress because of how upset I was
The door opened and she strutted through it
She closed the door behind her
"What do you want?" I asked her
"Umar" she said
"You're crazy" I said
"I'm crazy for Umar so stay away from him" she said
"Are you insane, you stay away from him, I'm his wife not you" I said
She chuckled "as if, you don't deserve to be his wife, shut that sharp tongue of yours or else it'll get you in trouble"
"Or you leave him alone or else it'll get you in trouble Mark my words" i said and I walk towards the door
I went out the office to see Umar in the hallway taking a call
When he saw me he hung up
"Hameeda" he said and he held my hand when I was passing him
"Umar leave me" I said through clenched teeth and I removed my arm from his grip
I walked away from him and he didn't even bother trying go after me
I entered the elevator and I pressed the button to go downstairs without giving him a second glance
I didn't know where I was going but I knew I wasn't going to my house nor Umar's house
I walked out just to see Daniel about to enter his red golf car
I ran to catch up to him before he drove off
He noticed me and he stopped
He quickly came out of the car
"Hameeda" he said
"Hello Daniel" I told him trying to smile
"How are You?" He asked
"Im good, thank you, I need you to drop me off...somewhere"
He looked confused because he knew I came with Umar but he still nodded
"Come in" he said
I entered the passenger's seat and he entered the driver's seat before he drove off
"Where should I drop you off?" He asked
"I don't even know"I murmured
He seemed hesitant to ask something and I noticed that
"What do you want to say Daniel?" I asked
"Bad day?" He asked
"A very bad day" I said
"There's this place I go to when I'm having a bad day" he said
"Where?" I asked
"It's one place like this, they have the BEST Amala" he said
I laughed at him "really? I've never had one before"
He gasped "Really?! Aaah, the best thing you'll ever taste"
"You're just saying that because you're Yoruba" I said
"True, but it's also true that it's the best thing ever" he said
"Ok then, will you mind taking me there?" I asked
"No, I don't mind at all, but, what will Sir say" he said
"You know what? Let's forget about this 'sir' for some time" I said
He laughed before he took a left turn and he drove into another street
It took us some minutes to reach the place and it was so busy
We got a table and we sat down
The whole place has this local vibe which was very interesting
We ordered the food and we got it after about 40 minutes
He waited for me to take a bite t
I took a bite and I smiled "not bad Daniel, not bad"
"You see, I told you" he said as he took a bite out of his too
We were halfway done and in the middle of having a conversation when the door of the store forcefully burst open
Four huge men dressed in black came in all, three of them wearing black shades
Why are they wearing sun glasses in the night?
They marched towards us
Pele oo soldiers
I immediately recognized one of them as Umar's guards
Before any of us could react two of the men snatched Daniel
Like literally, they snatched him off the chair
One held him while one swung a punch to his face
I released a gasp as I quickly shot up from my seat
"Leave him!" I said but that only made them punch him harder
I moved forward to stop them but I stopped dead on my tracks when I felt a hand on my back holding me back
I turned to look at who it was and I turned back to see it was one of the men
I gave him a look but he still didn't release me
"How dare you touch me?" I asked
He immediately removed hand from my back
I turned to the only person I recognized who is Edward "stop them from hitting him!"
He waited five seconds more after I said that before raising his hand indicating they stop
"I know Umar is behind this, where is he?"
"He's in the car" he said
I made sure Daniel was ok before Edward led me outside
I went outside to see three black cars lined together
I rolled my eyes at how extra this entire situation is
Edward opened the back seat of the car in the middle
I entered to see Umar
The door beside me shut close
"You know what, I seriously don't like you" I spat
His jaw clenched before his arm wrapped around my waist and he roughly pulled me to him
He looked into my eyes "Too bad you're Mine and you have to stick with me"
