"Hameeda" I heard a voice call
Who is that?
I slowly opened my eyes to feel my head on something hard
It took me some time to realize where I was
I looked up to see Umar's face frowning down at me
My eyes widened when I realized that my head was on his chest and my arms were wrapped around his waist
I quickly untangled myself from him

How did I even get to his side of the bed??
You see what my movement causes?
"Sorry" I said and I quickly stood up and I rushed to the closet
I just keep embarrassing my self in front of this guy
I just decided to take my shower
So I took my shower I performed ablution I came out and I got ready then I got changed into a purple abaya
I mean..we're going to his office, I'm not expected to wear a lace am I?
My eyes looked tired so I applied kohl on it and I applied balm on my lips
I came out to see him coming into the room from the mosque
We were both late for fajr
He still looked moody as he brushed past me to the closet
Damn, this guy has mood swings mehn
I think I annoyed him this morning when I took long to get off him
Well...ok
I laid the prayer mat and I put on the hijab and i prayed
When I said my salam I did my duas then I folded the mat and the hijab
I made the bed and I arranged the pillows on it
He came out of the room wearing a blue suit trouser and a white shirt tucked into it and the suit hanging from his arms
I decided to wait for him downstairs so I picked up my bag and I unplugged my phone from its charger and I dropped it inside my bag
I went out the door and I closed it
I walked down the stairs only to crash into Hauwa
She hugged me when she saw me
"How was your night?" I asked her when she released me
"Good, where are you going this early in the morning?" She asked
"I'm escorting Umar" I told her
Her face split into a smirk "Wife duties kenan" she teased
I laughed at her "abeg don't start"
"I was about to have breakfast, c'mon let's go" she said as she dragged me with her
We went to the dinning table which was preety long
It can accommodate about twenty people
A woman dressed in a maid's uniform came forward and she served us sausages and omelette
She later brought in a jug of orange juice and and a flask of hot water then she later brought in tray of different assorted tea bags
I poured my self a cup of tea and I added a cube of sugar and I picked a random tea bag and I dropped it inside
I and Hauwa started eating when Umar came and he sat beside me
His cologne immediately enveloped me
"Ya Umar Ina kwana" Hauwa told him (Good Morning)
"Lafiya"
That's when I noticed I didn't wish him good morning this morning
Uh..am I supposed to do it now?
"Ina kwana" I said
He turned to look at me"Lafiya"
I looked away just as the maid brought his plate of food and she dropped it in front of him
He poured some orange juice in a glass cup and he took a sip before he started eating
I love how he takes his time in eating, very slow bites
Well...I officially realize I'm weird
I heard the sound of a chair being pulled back and I looked up to see Hauwa standing up and she picked her bags and books
Is she leaving already?
"I'm going" she announced
"Goodbye!" I told her
She grinned at me and Umar nodded at her before she left
When we were done eating Umar stood up and he picked up the files he kept on the table
I also stood up and we left the dining table to the front door
The driver was already seated in the car and i and Umar entered the back seat
The driver drove out of the compound
He was looking through the files in his hands and I was looking at the busy morning streets
Before I knew it we were already at his office
He went out the car and I opened the door and I went out too
We walked into the building and it was like everyone stopped what they were doing to stop and look at us
Well..ok
Everyone stopped to tell him 'Good Morning' or 'Congratulations Sir'
All he did was nod back at them
This guy seems to be acting like a lizard these days and he does is nod!
While I just smile at everyone who looks my way, even if it's a smile or not
We entered the Elevator and it took us to the last floor
It opened and we went out
We went into his office and I saw Khadija seated on her usual seat and a woman seated on the one I usually seat on
They looked up when they saw us and they both stood up
"Good Morning sir" Khadija said
"Good Morning" he replied
"Good Morning Sir, thank you for having me back" the other lady said
"You're welcome" he said before he entered his office
Immediately he entered Khadija rushed to me with a squealing sound
She hugged me and I hugged her back
I laughed at her "I wish he could hear you"
"Ba Amin ba" she said as she laughed with me
"Oh My Gosh, look at how you're glowing" she said
I rolled my eyes at her
"I'm not joking" she said
"Well thank you" I said to her before I turned to the other lady
"Good Morning Ma'am" she said
"Good Morning, don't even start with that Ma'am thing, call me Hameeda" I told her
She smiled at me
"She's Mary, she's the one that was here before" Khadija told me
"Oooh"
I suddenly felt guilty, he actually fired her to hire me
I'm surprised she doesn't hate me
But besides, she's back after all
