Chapter 66: "HAPPY HALLOWEEN!"

-RAVEN-

I received tons of phone calls from Lance. He told me that I should drive as fast as possible, since it's an emergency. Of course, I didn't rush at first, but the amount of his calls made me worried.

Now, I'm stuck here behind him, literally pushing a shopping cart, filled with candies and him on it. This child man weighs around 80kg!

My nerves somehow can't be stopped. "This is your fucking emergency?!" I glare down at him and he innocently smiles.

"Ey! I was ordered to buy some sweets and I am not doing this shit alone!" He chuckles and obviously he enjoys watching me get humiliated. We both get a lot of stares and I think some even took pictures of us as we pass by them.

"And that is why you decided to drag me to it." I groan.

He laughs and nods. Then he spots a phone cab and orders me to stop there. I don't know why, but I do so. He grabs the phone and smirks. Little did I know, he says something inappropriate and wrong. "Raven might be the mom, but you can call me daddy~"

-He fucking did not... WHAT THE FUCK?! -

"You're such a disappointment." I hiss and he hysterically laughs, ignoring the fact that people heared him and are now looking at us.

"I'm a hot mess. That was good! Give me credits, mane~" He lifts his hands up, awaiting for me to praise him.

I feel the cringe crawling up my spine and I walk away from him. "You disgust me, Lance." The next thing I do is probably one of the best decisions I have ever made in life. I kick him far away from me.

He turns to look at me with his eyes wide open. I unintentionally grunt by the view of it. "EY! LITTLE BRO!-" He bumps straight into the wall. People stare at him as he angrily glares back at me.

"Is he alright?"

"What is going on with them?"

"Teenagers these days."

I don't like eavesdropping, but the customers have loud mouths, making it clearly to be heared what they say.

I marsh towards the child man and laugh at his ugly face. "Serves ya right!"

"Shut the fuck up! Now, get me some candies! The Nerds!" He points at the candy shelf and I push him to it. Unfortunately, he stops and glares back. "The first try was quite funny, but another try and I will bury you alive!" -How annoying!-

I duck down beside him with a smirk. "Try me." I kick the cart to the side, making him lose balance and fall to the ground. He tried to hold his balance at first, but eventually gave up.

It does a loud sound, making me laugh at my masterpiece. He looks like a bitch, covered with candies. "I really fucking hate you." He mumbles in pain.

Despite the looks I get, I find myself smiling as I kneel down beside him. "How heart warming and pure of you."

Courtney and Nath just sended me a picture of them. I take a look on it and feel really happy for them.

-I just came home. Charles and I spend the day in a cinema, since I insisted to. We watched 'Paranormal Activity', even though I despise horror movies. But I wanted to act all cool and now here I have it. Gosh, I feel like a 9th grade trying to impress her crush. Which, I literally did but.... ahhh!!!!-

My phone beeps and I stare at it. It's not from Court this time. It's the 'Fam-Shit' group. - I'm not judging, but I bet the name was created by Lance. What? It just sounds like him.-

Dash: 'Just finished decorating the house and ready with our make-up. Credits to Kim.'

Dash:

'Look at us being sexy. I wrote our names down, just in case you get us mixed up.'

Blair: 'I can clearly tell you apart. Lance always has his middlefinger up, Dash does the peace sign, Kace tries to look intimidating in every pic and then there's Sam trying to pose.'

Crystal: 'And you said we could get y'all mixed up.'

Lance: 'You are just jealous of us being that sexy, right boys?'

Sam: 'Hell yeah.'

Dash: 'Bwahahaha deep shit! Look at the end, right side. He fine as fuck. '

Kace: 'Who's that other hottie beside him? The one with that broad chest! Now that's what I'm talking about!'

Sam: 'You both are fucking arrogant. Stop thinking about yourselves. 😂🖕🏼'

Sam: 'Why is no one mentioning the hottest of them all? Look at that damn boy beside Lance.'

Sam: 'Says the one, who didn't have a costume last year. Bet you'll be showing up like this again.'

Kace: 'We all showed up with Purge costumes anyways.'

Crystal: 'Yeah, that was last year. But now I actually have a costume!'

Lance: 'True. I had to spray his hair white, so he may look up, but he didn't.'

I stopped reading. As much as I enjoyed reading the group chat, I need to get ready as well. Question is, what should I wear? I can just appear like this and still creep people out. Hahahah, I'm so funny.

"Are you fucking serious?" I stare at the 5 idiots. My face feels tight, like for real now. My pores are covered and my skin can't breath. -I was forced to wear it, since Lance wouldn't shut up!-

Speaking of Lance, he stuffs himself with a bag of chips and rolls his eyes at me. "Chill your balls mate. It was just one pic."

"I look like a bitch." I huff. He took a picture of me, without warning me. -He's pissing me off!-

"You are a bitch." He grins. "My bitch."
I marsh towards him and do a head lock. -He deserves it so bad. Ever since we walked out of Target I felt like wanting to strangle him.-

"Who are you calling bitch, you fuck!"
I growl and hear the other 4 idiots cheer at us.

"Let go!" Lance whines and tries to unlock my right arm around his neck. I squeeze tighter, making him tap. -He tapped. He's the bitch.-

Kim opens up the radio. "What shall we play?"

Kace looks up from his phone and yells. "Slim Shady!"

Troy and Christopher squint their eyes at us. Even they are wearing thick skull make up on their face. - I took my them with me, since they were only playing on their consoles. Except for Eve, she decided to spend the day with mom.- "Who dat?"

"Ever heard of Eminem? Geez, what uncultured swines." Dash rolls his eyes back.

Christopher offendendly stares at him then crosses his arms. "I-I knew that! I was just being sarcastic." Troy chuckles and I grin aswell.

Kim snickers and opens Slim Shady Albums. "Yeah sure. Have a taste of some 2000's "

Unfortunately, the radio plays Dancing Queen by ABBA instead. Kim squints his eyebrows together and stares at the cover of the CD case. "What the fuck!? Who writes Slim Shady over some old 80's CD?"

Dash looks over to Damian, who's quietly sipping on his coke. He spots us starring at him and winks.

Kace stands up, grabs Blair by her hand and sings. "You are the dancing queen. Young and sweet. Only seventeen. Dancing queen. " Blair laughs at her brother and joins him.
-The Reed siblings really are something special.-

Lance sends his knowing smirk at the others and the next thing they do is bopping their heads along with the beat. "Dancing queen.~"
- And that from aggressive looking gangsters. How unexpected.-

"Argh! Oh gawd!" I look over to Christopher, who has his mouth covered with his shirt's neck. His face is red and has his eyes squinted. -Poor guy, I feel his pain.-

Troy, in other hand, seems to enjoy it. "You are overreacting." He says and joins the singing.

"Ah! Shut up dude!" Christopher growls, while my brother makes it worse by singing to his ear.

Crystal walks towards the radio and switches the song to Gimme! Gimme! Gimme! "Now that's what I'm talking about!"

Sam and Dash swing their hips. "That's mah ish!"

-What the hell am I doing in here? Where's Amanda when I need her?-

Again, I can hear Lance singing along. "Gimme, gimme, gimme a man after midnight. Won't somebody help me. Chase the shadows away." It fascinates me, how he tries so hard to be a bad ass, yet fails by bringing his old self out.

Soon the radio stops and randomly picks I need a hero by Bonnie Tyler.
We all stare at each other. The next thing I see is Sam swaying his hips side to side, while pointing at Lance. "Hit it!"

Lance immediately stands up from his chair and screams. "I need a hero!" He then, literally sways his hips side to side and sings like he owns the song.

"I'm holding out for a hero 'til the end of the night
He's gotta be strong
And he's gotta be fast
And he's gotta be fresh from the fight"
-He's giving me Shrek 2 vibes.-

Christopher looks dead, like literally and Troy is now cringing with his shoulders beside me. They catch me starring and shake their heads. I grin and take a sit beside them.

We watch all of them freak out and dance like there's no tomorrow. If there were a chandelier, I'd give my bet on Dash that he'll swing on it.

Soon the doorbell rings and I stand up to open the door. Infront of me are Courtney and Nath, both looking like Venom. -They look really stunning.-

"Hey! Looking good." Court smirkes at me and I smile back.

"Thanks, you both look amazing." I spot Amanda behind them and catch myself smiling wider. She stares down to the ground, making it hard for me to stop starring at her.

Nath laughs as he hears the childman singing. "Is that Lance? What is that damn ritual for?"

I find myself laughing with him.
-I like Nath. He is always on point.-

"Yeah, I don't know either." I feel quite embarrassed for Lance. I step aside, allowing them in.

Before me stands a girl, I've always been dreaming about. She tugs her hair back to her ear and smiles innocently. -FUCK! I just can't leave her or even control my feelings, when she's around.- I notice her white gown and make-up.

My heart skips beats and my throat feels dry. I somehow can't speak to her. My mouth feels sewed. -SHE LOOKS FUCKING CUTE!- "I really like your skull look." She interrupts my thoughts and genuinely smiles. -I swear, I can't resist her red and soft lips.-

"Thank you. You look... incredibly beautiful." I feel like flushing, quickly avoid her gaze and rub the back of my neck. I can sense her staring at me and I gently grab her hand, leading her inside.

As soon as I shut the door, I turn around and spot her face heated up. -FUCK!-

Blair and Crystal quickly rush towards her. "Finally you're here! There's so much I need to tell you!-" Just like that, my two friends steal the love of my life away from me.

Dash slings his arm around my neck and smirkes. "Don't worry mate. I'm here for you." I shoot him a quick glare, making him laugh. -He reeks like alcohol. Drunk already, huh?-

"Get off me, you little drunk bastard." I hiss and he releases himself from me.

Almost all of our squad seems to be drinking already, except for the girls and the two teenagers of course.

We are all happy and satifsfied, until Kim comes up with an ass idea. "Let's do 'Trick or Treating'!"

Christopher smirkes at Troy and they whisper some things to each other.

"I'm down!" Kace yells.

"Let's go! I wanna scare some little shits!" Dash adds, gaining a hit from Blair.

"You're such a mean ass." She hisses back.

"How old are you?" Sam squints his eyes at him and grabs the bowl with candies.

Kim grabs a chocolate from him and unwraps it, before stuffing himself up. " Young 19, Got a problem?"

Sam grins. "Yeah, You fucking pedophile."

The asian guy rolls his eyes. "Then don't join us. You old fart."

"I'm not too old for candies tho." Sam argues and opens one Lollipop. -Both are stupid. I know.-

Amanda silently sits beside me and I feel my heart racing up again. -How is she doing that?- "How have you been?" She asks and smiles.

My tongue feels twisted and my heart is about to explode. -It's getting worse and worse...I'm afraid to die from a heart attack this soon!- "I'm alright. What about you?" I smile, but internally curse myself for being this boring. -Why can't I act cool beside her now? Long distances really mess me up!-

"I'm fine too."She flushes and looks away from me. "So... What are the plans for today?"

"Trick or Treating I suppose, watch horror movies and party?" I ask myself aswell and she laughs.

"What a mood." She has such a catchy laughter, that I can't help it but join her.

"Hey, atleast I'm much more cheerful now that you're around." I tease her and she flushes. -I'm such an ass.-

She widens her eyes at me and mumbles. "Stop teasing me..."

-I miss hanging out with her. It feels good sitting beside her and doing our thing. Just chilling, talking and laughing over little things....-

"How's Miles doing?" I ask. -I do miss that little boy. I wonder, what he's doing right now.- She seems surprised, that I've asked for her brother. "Did something happen?"

"N-no! I was just startled by your sudden question. Not everyone remember him, so it was quite surprising that you brought him up."
She says with a smile.

I grin back at her. "As an Outsider, I remember people without knowing them beforehand, cause that's how it is. You pay attention to people, who are like you and even to the little details that are surrounding you."

She looks so disciplined, while listening to me. -It's fucking sexy, I admit.- "Fascinating!...He's doing alright. He misses you too, more like misses Eve." She then laughs.

"Oh, is that so?" I laugh and imagine them playing around. "Eve misses him too." As we continue our conversation, I notice something strange.

-Weird, why is it so silent?- I sense the rest starring at us. As predicted they are listening to our conversation with sly smirks around their faces. Even Christopher and Troy know what Is up. I shoot them a quick glare and they act like nothing happened by doing the things they weresupposed to be doing. It's like they are doing the Mannequin Challenge.

Damian wraps his arms around mine and Amanda's shoulders. "Soo~ you must be Amanda. I'm Damian, Dash's brother and Raven's best friend." He winks at her and Amanda confusingly looks at me.

-What a great ass.- I smile at her. "You can call him 'Damn' in short. I think you can guess, why we named him that." Damian angrily squints his eyes at me.

"Okay?" She unsurely smiles.

"That's cause I'm so 'Damn' Hot." He saves himself by saying that, making she laughs. "Get it?"

"I get it."

"Good." Damn grins, but then smirks at me. "Say, are you two dating already?" -HE'S SUCH A RETARTED LITTLE FUCK!- I hastily punch his stomach, since it's wide open. He groans and I spot Amanda flushing.

"You're such a Damn Bitch." I growl, making Damian laugh.

"Alright, I get it. It's a kind of Love-Hate situation." -He's trying to provoke me even more!-

"You don't know what you're talking about." I bark and Amanda looks away from me. -Ah shit... I didn't want our relationship to turn out like this. She's not an object for me. But she is someone that I claim as 'Mine' and what is mine will always be protected by me. Sounds cringy, right?...-

Damn just chuckles and thankfully walks away.

"Let's go Trick or Treating now!!!" Kim whines on the sofa. -What a grown ass 19 year old man he is.-

"And ya'll wonder, why you're single." Crystal adds making Courtney and Blair laugh.

-This will be a long day... but thankfully, she's here beside me now.-

My phone beeps and I spot Lance smirking at me. "Take a look and thank me later." He mouths and I roll my eyes. -Thank him for being annoying?-

"Is this one of your nudes?" I ask and he laughs.

"Nah. Just open it!" He barks. I do as I am told.

Pervert (aka. Lance): 'Received it from Courtney a while ago. Imagine her saying: "Hey babe".

Pervert (aka. Lance):

Did you dirty. Right? You horny arse! 😏

-Okay...HOLY SHIT SHE'S HOT AS FUCK! WHAT THE ACTUAL?! AND THEN THE IMAGINATION! OH MY-! LANCE IS SUCH AN ASSHOLE!-

I sense Amanda trying to peek. I quickly shut it and look away from her. "Are you alright? You're heating up." She says and bends closer to me. -AHHHH!!!-

I try my best to avoid eye contact and place one hand to my mouth. -Shit! I'm too obvious!- "Y-yeah. I was just..." -FUCK! SAY SOMETHING, DAMMIT!- "I received a nude from Lance."

-Good save.-

"W-What?" She widens her eyes and the rest let out a laughter.

Lance must've heard me, because right now he angrily marshes towards me. "EY! I FUCKING DID NOT!" I angrily glare at him and pull him close to me.

"You made me do this. Don't you fucking screw this up!" I warn him.

Dash and Sam laugh out loud. "Lance, the fuck man?!"

Kace and Damian shake their head and roast Lance from head to toe. If I were him, I wouldn't show myself anymore.

"What a gay bitch."

"It's not like he'll get turn on by you!"

"And that on a Halloween day."

"How creepy and insane!"

"What exactly did you send him?"

Everyone makes fun of the childman, who's red all over his face and is trembling.

"SHUT THE FUCK UP!" He snaps out.
