Stiles was usually a very cheerful person when coming to work, So when he walked in today with a sour face Lydia was immediately by his side "oh my god Stiles what's wrong"
"Nothing" he grumbled going into the back getting changed Lydia following after him "I swear its nothing"
"Allison!" Lydia calls for her wife, a moment later a girl around their age walks in with a black dress and a crop jacket on "does he look like there is nothing wrong with him to you"
Allison took one look at Stiles and narrowed her eyes at him before grabbing his face into her hands "oh my god baby what's wrong, you look so sad, you can tell us"
Stiles sighed "I'm fine" Stiles gave a half smile pulling her hands from his face "I promise, but Derek won't be"
"What's he done now" Lydia huffs folding her arms in front of her chest "he better not have hurt you"
Stiles shook his head with a smile and headed out to start his work "he has the silent treatment"
Stiles had been working an hour and his mood hasn't got any better so when Jackson Whitimore came in for his usual Stiles wanted to be a pain and ask for specifics due to they might be hiring new staff and they won't know what the usual is, Jackson glared at Stiles and looked over at Lydia with a pleading look who just shrugged with a smile and headed into the back leaving Stiles to ease his annoyed mind by pissing Jackson off
Jackson had a sub, not just any sub he had it made a specific way, so everytime Jackson added one thing Stiles held his hand up to stop Jackson from speaking as he prepared that one ingredient, then asked for the next and this was done for the whole cheese baguette, filled with cheese, sausage, salad, onions, and various other ingredients that sometimes made Stiles want to puke at the combination but got to use to it to care now, after all if Jackson want's to shove a barf baguette down his throat then thats his choice nothing to do with Stiles only sometime he may have wished Jackson choked on the thing.
Stiles and Jackson hate each other they have since they first met at school, Jackson was a jock who was dating his best friend and Stiles was a nerd, Jackson prime target to bully.
Stiles was still working on Jackson's order when Derek walked into the shop, skipping the line that formed and over to the counter with a determined look on his face "Sti" Stiles didn't respond and looked at Jackson's pissed off face as he added a cake to his order then flailed at Stiles as he went to put it in the baguette "Stiles, come on talk to me please you didn't say a word to me this morning I can't stand it"
Jackson turned his head to glare at Derek "is he doing this to me because of you"
Allison came out and started serving other customers because clearly Stiles was enjoying pissing the ex jock off a smirk was present on his face paying no mind to Derek "ok so the cake doesn't go in the baguette" Stiles asked slowly placing it to the side earning a dark glare from Jackson "what drink would you like?"
"Coffee" Jackson practically growled, Stiles already knew what he has
"Would that be ground or instant?"
"Instant!"
"Decaff or not"
"Not" Jackson growled in response
"Stiles" Derek tried again only Stiles continued to ignore him, Derek ran his fingers through his hair as Stiles walked away from the counter to go and make the non decaff instant coffee no milk and 3 sugars for Jackson, he had paused a moment each time he asked the specifics of the coffee watching Jackson get more annoyed "is this because I didn't put the cup away after using it?" Derek called over the counter
"Does he have OCD" Jackson commented
Derek glared at Jackson, he hated the guy to, but then again Jackson loves Derek or more so is terrified of Derek and is why he stopped bullying Stiles "Sti I know I should have put it away I'm sorry"
Stiles glanced at Derek before putting Jackson's order on the side "that will be 1250 cents please" Jackson stared and went to hand over his card "card machines broken"
"No it's not they are using it" Jackson argued
"It's broken for you, or can't you count 1250 cent" Jackson frowned giving Stiles 13 dollars "that isn't all he had done" Stiles commented putting 13dollars in the cash register before slowly counting 50 cents out in 1cent coins
"You have got to be kidding me, keep the damn change" Jackson said
"I can't do that Mr. Whitmore please wait a moment" Stiles smiled at him as Derek ran a hand down his face
"Alright alright, I'm sorry I didn't put the cup away, and left the biscuits out, and didn't do much of anything actually, and for leaving the empty milk carton in the fridge" he opened his mouth to continue when there where multiple gasps
"Dude you left the empty carton in the fridge" Jackson said shaking his head "Danny would kill me if I did that"
"I won't do it again I promise" Derek groaned, he didn't like being ignored by Stiles
"Don't make a promise you can't keep Derek" Stiles said putting 50 cent coins on the counter for Jackson
"I promise I'll try harder and if I don't you can hit me, anything but ignore me please" he groaned again
Jackson scooped the coins up and dropped them into the tip Jar before grabbing his stuff and rushing out he was totally late back for work "you owe me Derek" he called as he left
"Have a nice day see you tomorrow" Stiles calls back with a smirk before turning his attention to Derek who was giving Stiles a pleading look "you do the cleaning for the next month and if you don't I will go back to ignoring you, and Derek I'm going to show you exactly what you do to me when you leave stuff lying around, including the shopping"
Derek groaned but agreed none the less, Stiles moved around the counter pulling Derek down for a kiss "I'll try harder, I'm sorry love" Derek wrapped his arms around Stiles "I love you"
"I love you to, you better go before you're late for work" Derek kissed Stiles once more before walking out
Stiles smirked and Lydia shook her head "is he really that bad" Stiles shook his head and smiled
"He isn't that bad, but it's cute to see him like that and pleading for forgiveness"
