3rd POV
.........................................................
Surrounding the ship were nothing but roaring waves and belting rain. The ship for the most part was fairly plain with the exception of the Jolly Roger that decorated the sails, the eyes of the skull replaced by green emeralds. Few crew members could be seen rushing along the deck to control the ship as the storm passed through.
The navigator of the ship, a petite looking man with blonde hair and glaring red eyes, was out shouting orders with promises that the storm would be passing. His hands were adorned with red metal gloves, which were coated with sea prism to help give his punches an extra kick to the devil fruit users. Rumors have it that the reason his gloves are red is due to to being stained red from all the people he's beaten down. Said rumors are one of Masa's favorites. The other being that he was dragged up from hell itself, though those weren't started by marines.
It wasn't long before the storm suddenly gave away, and instead the sun came out to beam down on the pirate crew. Masa nodded to himself, mumbling that it seemed on schedule for what he expected.
Frowning at the water still covering the deck, a rather tall pale woman with long white hair which she pulled into a delicate side braid, sighed and walked towards the lower deck door. Her white kimono she wore was completely soaked, and she wasn't a fan of being cold. Kuro pocketed her flute before turning to the other blonde on the crew, who also appeared soaked.
"Sango, I know you don't mind being dirty, but it really isn't good for you to stay in soaked clothes." Kuro scolded, her voice as smooth and elegant sounding as if she were softly singing. "I strongly suggest you at the very least change your clothes, if you don't wish to warm up in the shower."
Said blonde turned abruptly to look at Kuro, a smudge of dirt still lingering on her cheek dispute being soaked. A rather large grin formed on her face as she wiggled her eyebrows. "Ne, is that an invitation to join you, Kuro?"
"Absolutely not." The woman shot down, her voice turning icy as her sea foam eyes glared towards the blonde.
Masa rolled his eyes, looking down at his wrist before freezing. "Shit." He mumbled before holding up his arms and looking around. "Everyone freeze! I've lost the log pose!"
A series of groans filled the deck as they all snapped back at him for losing it again.
Inside the dinning room sat three figures, which all paused in their conversation at the loud complaints being shouted out against the navigator.
The first to react was the Captain of the ship. His hat shadowing over the top half of his narrowed face, leaving only his smirking mouth visible. A white shirt was worn, though half of it was left unbuttoned and allowed all to the see the deep visible scars that layered his chest. His hair, a sandy blonde, was rather long for most and tied up in a ponytail which then fell to the midpoint on his back. A deep chuckle escaped Taro's lips as he brought a hand up to try to smother his amusement.
The next to react, with a smaller amount of amusement, was the first mate of the crew. Kimiko was, bluntly put, a rather scary looking woman at first glance. The scar on her cheek didn't help with making her look friendly, but her eyes which always seemed narrowed into a glare and a natural frown always set her off from the stereotypical 'friendly kinda girl'. She enjoyed watching people squirm under her glare, it gave her a form of power she hadn't had growing up. Her hair, also rather long, was smooth and let down freely. Her red coat was tossed to on the back of her chair, allowing full view of her black bra, which was the only piece of clothing she wore to cover her upper half. It also allowed full view of the many scars that marked her body, all of which were quite old and clearly from childhood. The other thing left visible was the bronze band that wrapped around her arm, it intertwined and looked somewhat of braided olive branches, it was also something that Taro would find himself looking towards often.
Her lips pulled upward having seen Taro try to smother his amusement. "It appears Masa has lost something again. I believe I won this last bet, Taro-sama."
The Captain nodded, sighing as he leaned back in his chair. "That you do, Kimiko. You'll get your request later."
The third person in the room was still completely silent. Her pink eyes darting between the First Mate and Captain before settling down at the pieces of paper in front of her. Her lips appeared scarred in a pattern, as her mouth had once been sewn shut before. If she hadn't come across the Emerald Pirates when she had, perhaps her mouth would still be sewn shut. Her light pink hair was pulled back in an half up half down style, helping keep some hair out of her face. The clothing that she wore completely covered her, allowing only her neck and face to completely show.
Silently, Nikita pushed a picture forward. Taro's amusement died down as he looked down at the picture, the smile dropping off of his face and replaced by a frown.
"That can't be good." He mumbled.
Kimiko scowled as she looked over the new wanted poster of Taro. It showed him as a child, and him as he is currently. The bounty had risen another 100 million and the bottom had been replaced with Alive only.
"The rumors must have been true." Kimiko mumbled, softly pulling out another picture. This one featured a black haired woman with violent violet eyes. "Bell-sama must really... That won't be good."
"Especially for Sato and Mitsu." Taro sighed, "We should likely get a hold of Shanks. He should know his nephew and niece might be in more danger than what we assumed, as we thought it were rumors."
Nikita nodded in agreement, pulling more papers forward and showing some more pictures which she had captured.
It was one particular one that made both Captain and First Mate pause. "That... They didn't do that...." Taro shook his head, picking up the picture.
"Did that really come from there?" Kimiko mumbled, seeing Nikita nod and sighing. "They've gotten worse."
The three paused when a bang under the table caught their attention followed by a groan. Slowly a blue haired figure crawled up from under the table. His eyes were half open and he looked around in a daze, his hair a complete mess. When he saw Taro he blinked slowly at him.
"Hey, Captain." Hiroshi greeted, standing up and stretching his arms.
The smile from before pulled at Taro's lips as he gave a small wave. "Hello, Hiroshi."
"How long were you under there?" Kimiko sighed, rubbing her temples.
The doctor shrugged, "I don't know, I was pretty sure I was sitting on the bench just a moment ago."
A loud shout sounded from the deck, drawing in everyone's attention again. "Masa! You idiot brother! We're doomed if we don't find it! And if we do, I'm seeing it to your damn body!"
Taro looked towards the door, then towards the others in the room. "We probably should go check up on them. I have a feeling Masa lost the log pose again, and I don't think Sango can handle anymore of her brother."
Kimiko sighed, gathering the pictures and papers stacking them neatly. A small look of annoyance was on her face, yet also amusement.
Hiroshi and Nikita stood up and walked towards the door first. Hiroshi's eyes widened when he realized the silent woman was behind him and flushed as he scrambled to open the door.
"I didn't realize you were back, Nikita!" Hiroshi stumbled after her out the door. "Did you try to do those vocal excersizes I mentioned?..."
Taro snorted, standing up as the door shut. "I almost feel bad for him."
Kimiko looked up from the papers with a dry look. "You can see how I felt then. You were far worse than that with Sayomi, Taro-sama."
At the name Taro's face flushed a bright red and he looked over towards Kimiko. "I was not!"
Kimiko snorted and let out booming laughter. "If it wasn't for her blunt flirting I doubt you would even have children!"
His blush deepened and he walked towards the door with a slight huff. "J-Just go eat food and get fat!"
"Sure thing, I wouldn't mind bigger boobs!" Kimiko smirked when the door shut. She grabbed her coat and threw it over her shoulders and picked up the papers. Turning she followed her Captain out.
.........................................
The Straw Hats managed to fight successfully against the Fishmen Pirates. With the exception of their Captain, they all only received a few minor scratches. Luffy, on the other hand, was currently lying on the ground in need of a blood transfusion.
When he fell from the sky Katsu had been the first to jump up and catch their Captain. Shirahoshi had tried to take the Captain from Katsu, however the pirate insisted on helping Luffy. Instead the Princess followed tearfully after Katsu as she brought Luffy down and chopper began examining him. Or rather Robin held Chopper so he could examine Luffy.
The issue was a quick fix, he needed a blood transfusion. However, a minor problem was stopping this quick fix.
Katsu frowned as she looked over the Fishmen who looked away. Nobody stepped forward to help give Luffy any blood.
"I know someone has it!" She yelled out, stepping forward as she tried to control herself. "You can't tell me nobody here has his blood type! He just saved your ass and you're all going to just let him die?!"
"-It's a law here that you can't give blood to humans!"
Katsu snapper back to look at Chopper, who's wide eyes were on her. She blinked at Chopper before looking back at the crowd with wide and angry eyes. "That's the shittiest law I've ever heard." She glared out at the crowd. "This division is stupid, and pointless. This law being the most idiotic thing I've heard with my time with Luffy."
Before she could rant more, Zoro placed a hand on her shoulder and frowned at her. When she went to yell more Zoro squeezed a little and shook his head. "Now's not the time for your anger. Thise laws were put in place for a reason then, and they don't want to break the law."
"Well it's stupid and if our Captain dies I'm going to go ballistic on everyone here." She resorted.
"Use my blood!" Katsu's attention snapped over towards the voice, blinking when she saw who it was. "I'm also type F. You can have as much as you need!"
"Jimbei!!"
Katsu stared at him, her arm relaxing under Zoro's grip. Her Captain would be okay, because of a former Warlord. She reminded herself that she needed to apologize for her actions earlier. He really wasn't as bad as the other Warlords, this one, she decided, she could trust.
It wasn't long after the transfusion began that Luffy spoke, a smile falling on his face. "Jimbei..." His smile grew wider.
Katsu let out a breath she didn't realize she had been holding and leaned back into Zoro. The swordsman grunted, not shifting his stance, but letting go of her arm as she no longer seemed hostile.
"Hey, Jimbei..." A brig grin pulled at his cheeks. "You gotta join my crew!!"

End of Chapter 75!
Some more insight given towards katsu's family, any thoughts? Any thoughts on Taro's crew? There was one newer crew member which was not there in the beginning, Nikita. I'm really excited about that character, she seems like she'll be fun to write.
I apologize for the lack of updates, but those should start picking back up!
On another note, in case ya'll didn't know, I posted a BNHA fanfic. It's called Switch, and I would absolutely love it if ya'll checked it out! I'm super excited about it!
