Dad- "I have work to do. Go to my office and start on a apology letter"
Lissy- "Why do I have to"?
Dad- "Because I said so. You are going to write one to the principal and one to the girl"
Lissy- "I don't want to"
Dad- "I don't care if you want to or not. You are going to write it"
Lissy- "But"
Dad- "Do you want a sore bottom while doing it"?
Lissy- "No"
Dad- "Then I highly advise you that you go to my office and do it"
Lissy- "*******" I mumbled as I started to walk away
Dad- "Care to repeat that"? I said sternly as I grabbed her arm and turned her around so that she was facing me.
Lissy- "Your being a *****"!
Dad- I turned her so that her side was facing me. I then smacked her bottom 15 hard times. "My office Allyssa Mckenzie," I said as let go of her arm
Lissy- I didn't listen to him
Dad- I grabbed her arm again and took her into my office. I sat down in a chair and placed her over my lap. I started to rain down smacks on her bottom "This language and attitude of yours has to stop. I told you don't that I don't allow that kind of language especially from you"
Lissy- "I'm sorry Dad"
Dad- "Are you Allyssa"?
Lissy- "Yes"
Dad- "Then why do you keep using that kind of language"?
Lissy- "I don't know"
Dad- "Not a real answer"
Lissy- "I guess I forget"
Dad- "You guess"?
Lissy- "Okay....okay....I forgot"
Dad- "I'm sick of using that kind of language. Its unacceptable. You are too young to be using that kind of language"
Lissy- "Dad I'm sorry"
Dad- "Also your attitude needs to stop as well. I told you time over time to speak to me respectfully. The way you have been talking to me is earning you my belt"
Lissy- "I'll stop"
Dad- Knowing that we will be discussing this again in the future, I ignored that comment. "I'm tired of having this conversation with you about your attitude"
Lissy- I lowered my head
Dad- "Stand up"
Lissy- I stood up
Dad- "I want you to write the apology letter. At least have one of them done by the time I get back"
Lissy- "Yes Sir"
Dad- "No more attitude or language Allyssa"
Lissy- "Yes Sir"

Dad- "Did you finish the apology letters"? I asked as I came into my office
Lissy- "Yes Sir"
Dad- "Let me see" I said as I held out my hand
Lissy- I handed him the letters
Dad- "Good job. You will give this to the principal and the girl when you go back in two weeks" I said as read them over
Lissy- "Yes Sir"
Dad- "Now I want to know why you got into a fight" I said after I placed the papers on my desk
Lissy- (no response)
Dad- "Allyssa answer the question" I said
Lissy- "I don't know"
Dad- "Allyssa you wouldn't get into a fight for no reason. I want to know the reason behind it"
Lissy- "She was being a ****". Opps..
Dad- I grabbed her arm and placed about 20 smacks to her bottom and said "Language Allyssa. You know that I don't tolerate this kind of language especially from you. I thought we discussed this ealier"
Lissy- "Sorry Dad"
Dad- "If one more cuss word comes out of your mouth, next time there will be soap instead of a warning. Do you understand me"?
Lissy- "Yes Sir"
Dad- "Try that again without the language Allyssa McKenzie"
Lissy- "She kept on saying that her Dad is better than my Dad. I told her that my Dad was better. We kept going back and forth about it. The teacher had asked us to stop but we didnt listen. We kept fighting"
Dad- "What got you to punching her"?
Lissy- "She called me the b-word. So I tackled her and punched her. Then we both strarted to punch each other"
Dad- "Allyssa"!
Lissy- "I know....I know and I'm sorry. When she said that I got really mad"
Dad- "I understand that you got angry with her. What she did was unacceptable but what you did was as well unacceptable. This is not how we handle things, right"?
Lissy- (No response)
Dad- "Right"?
Lissy- "Yes Sir"
Dad- "How could you handle it different"?
Lissy- "Talk to a teacher"
Dad- "But you didn't. You could've stopped when the teacher asked you two to stop but you didn't, you kept fighting we each other. To the point where it got physical"
Lissy - "I'm really sorry Dad"
Dad- "I'm sorry to but you are going to be punished"
Lissy- "I know"
Dad- "Your being punished for punching her. You are only physical if someone is trying to hurt you. That is why I've been teaching you self-defense to defend yourself.
Lissy- I nodded my head
Dad- "You know that I don't allow fighting especially when it becomes physical. You are grounded for two weeks and you have extra chores to do as well"
Lissy- "Yes Sir"
Dad- "You know that I love you"
Lissy- "I do and I love you too"
Dad- "Next time if you can't fix things between you and the other person go tell a grownup. Fighting is never the answer"
Lissy- "I will"
Dad- "Gather your things, we will be leaving in a few minutes"
Lissy- "Ok Dad"
