Steve- After dropping Danny and talking a little bit outside. I started to drive home. I had many different mix emotions going through my mind. I was angry, dissapointed, frustrated, and mad. We got home and we both sat there doing nothing. "Why"? I said
Lissy- "Why what"? I answered
Dad- "You know exactly what I'm talking about Allyssa"
Lissy- "Why should I answer you"?
Dad- "Because I am the adult here and I just asked you a question"
Lissy- "So"?
Dad- "What is it with your attitude Allyssa"
Lissy- "Nothing"!
Dad- "Lower your voice Allyssa'
Lissy- "whatever"
Dad- "Allyssa drop the attitude"
Lissy- I rolled my eyes
Dad- "Care to explain to me why decided to sneak out"?
Lissy- "You"
Dad- "What do you mean by that"?
Lissy- "Its your fault"
Dad- "This isn't my fault. I had nothing to do with this Allyssa"
Lissy- "Yes it does"
Dad- "Explain to me how this is my fault"?
Lissy- "You left me a week ago without telling me that your were leaving"
Dad- "I wasn't planning to leave Allyssa. An emergency came up"
Lissy- "Yeah with Catherine"
Dad- "What is that supposed to mean"?
Lissy- "All of a sudden Catherine shows up and then the both of you two left"!
Dad- "Change that attitude young lady"
Lissy- I rolled my eyes
Dad- "I get that your mad and angry with me but that does not give you any reason to be rude and disrespectful towards me"
Lissy- "It does! You always tell me if you have to leave or go somewhere"!
Dad- "I apologize for not telling you and let me advise you to lose the attitude"
Lissy- "I don't accept your apology Dad"! I yelled then got out of the car and went into the house since I had a key

*Lissy Room*
Dad- I was hurt but I wasn't surprised. I made the mistake of not telling her. I didnt even tell Lynn that I was leaving. She had tried to call me several times but wasn't able to reach me. I waited at least 10 minutes before I went in. One to cool down and two to gather my thoughts and how I would want to handle this. I go in and I don't see Lissy. I head upstairs and I see her sitting in her room on the window seat crying. I sighed knowing that I hurt her. I go in and seat next to her.
Lissy- "Dad....
Dad- "Before you continue. I'm sorry I didn't tell you that I was leaving. You are right, I should've told you myself. I didnt know how to tell you that I was leaving with Catherine. I didn't want you to get the impression that we were getting back together"
Lissy- "I....forgive you"
Dad- I hugged her tightly and kissed the top of her head
Lissy- "Sorry about sneaking out"
Dad- "You know that was wrong"
Lissy- "Yes I know"
Dad- "The disobeyed Danny even though he told you not to go"
Lissy- "I needed to get away and clear my thoughts'
Dad- "I understand that but you know better than sneak out"
Lissy- "I know Dad"
Dad- "You could've talk to either Danny, Tani, or Junior how you were feeling"
Lissy- "I know but they wouldn't understand"
Dad- "They might not but they would've been there for you"
Lissy- "Again I'm sorry"
Dad- "What did i tell you if you snuck out"?
Lissy- "I would get a spanking with your belt. But you weren't here'
Dad- "That doesnt matter. You snuck out Allyssa"
Lissy- I knew I couldn't get out of this but I can try at least. "This is unfair. You get back and all I get is punished. Don't you feel guilty punishing me after leaving me for a week"!!
Dad- I stood up and looked angry "Are you being serious! You are using the guilt trick to get out of your punishment" I said sternly
Lissy- "You are being unfair here. I shouldn't just get punished for sneaking out"!
Dad- "Even if you didn't sneak out you were still getting punished"
Lissy- "What for"!
Dad- "Lets see here. Before I left you were already in trouble for being rude to Lynn and I told you that you were getting punished for that. Second you rude and disrespectful towards Danny, Tani, Junior, Lou and Adam when they tried to talk to you. Third you snuck out and being disrespectful towards Danny and me tonight"
Lissy- "Okay but do you have to"?
Dad- "Allyssa you know me that I promise to do something I do it"
Lissy- "Oh yeah? Like canceling our date when Lynn called or how about when you left? When you promised me that we could go surfing and to Kamkeona"
Dad- "For you information Lynn needed someone to talk to that night. She has no one to go to when she gets home from work and her mom died recently. I thought it would be nice for us to spend time with her. As for us spending time the next day, I had to leave because there was an emergency dealing with my mom. I was going to take you to Kamkeona tomorrow night and to do night surfing but since your attitude, behavior, and your sneaking out we are not doing those things anymore for awhile"
Lissy- "Why didn't you tell me"?
Dad- "Im not obligated to inform you everything that I do. Yes I should've told you that I was leaving but I have apologized"
Lissy- "Dad..."
Dad- "You know what? Just get ready for bed. We will discuss this tomorrow when we both slept and are both calmed down. Because that outburst you just had would've earned you a spanking with my belt. So get ready for bed, I'll be back in a few minutes to say goodnight" I said sternly then left the room
Lissy- "Yes Sir" I said as he left
-15 minutes later-
Dad- "Are you ready for bed"?
Lissy- "Yeah. Dad"?
Dad- "Yes"?
Lissy- "I'm sorry"
Dad- "About"?
Lissy- "What had happened"
Dad- "We will talk more in the morning. When we both have some sleep and rested"
Lissy- "Okay. Night Dad'
Dad- "Night Lissy. Love you"
Lissy- "Love you too"
