"Da, Da, Da, Da," Y/n kept repeating over and over again.
Haytham held out his baby sister to Edward.
"She wants you," Haytham glumly.
Edward took Y/n from Haytham, balancing the baby on his hip.
"Don't worry, Haytham. I'm sure Y/n will want to start playing with you when she's older," Edward told his son, "She's just a baby, although she won't be forever."
Haytham nodded along, watching his baby sister make wild gestures and gurgling.
Haytham sat on the floor, watching Y/n crawl around while dragging her favorite stuffed animal around with her. He started to follow her around to make sure nothing happened to her.
"Ha," Haytham blinked, "Ha," Y/n repeated, pointing at Haytham.
He couldn't tell if she's laughing at him or if she's trying to say his name. When Y/n started to whine, Haytham realized that she's trying to catch his attention. Haytham picked Y/n up, she started to squeal in glee; eagerly resting her head on his shoulder as Haytham carried her out.
"And she's all grown up," Edward sighs, "What did I tell ya, Haytham?" Haytham shrugs, readjusting Y/n in his arms.
"Da," Y/n reached out for Edward.
"Nah, spend some time with your half-brother, Y/n," said Edward, "Haytham, make sure nothing happens to her. I have to go somewhere for a while. Make sure the windows and doors are all locked, too." Haytham nodded.
That very night, after feeding Y/n and tucking her into bed, Haytham went around to check the doors and windows as his father told him to. He heard fussing and the covers shifting around in Y/n's little crib. Haytham checked her crib, seeing that she's still awake.
"Miss Father, don't you?" Haytham sighs, picking Y/n up from her crib, "You can sleep with me for the night then if you miss him so much." Y/n snuggled against her brother's chest as he carried her to his bedroom.
Haytham pulled the covers over him and Y/n, letting Y/n rest on top of him.
"Goodnight, Y/n."

Edward sighs, smiling when he saw Haytham and Y/n sleeping together.
