After he was gone I sat on my bed again.. I was thinking what can happen at future.. I, being a witch even more A king of... Black Witch, then the reaction of Nicolae also matters as he doesn't know about me and Drogo..
(I wish he won't make a fuss over it...)
I just sit there for more minutes my thought move towards my past.. I never thought that things could go like that.. Just a few months ago my priorities were to think about Father.. And nothing.. And moving an year ago.. I was having a life any other teenager would be having.. Even when I was about to move here I had thought of myself as a Nanny just taking care of a little girl and studies at night.. With no friends or loved ones.. But everything just changed like that.. I was always closed to my father.. Of course I loved my Mother but the sacrificed he gave doesn't let me think of anyone else other than him..
(Maybe that's the reason I cannot stand violence..)
Now that I was missing my father I carefully opened the cabinet where I put their things.. I opened a case and looked at that frame.. for minutes.. then I picked it up and saw few more things.. A tie father used to wear.. MY mother ring.. It was very precious and quite expensive so I just took it with me, I had always wanted to wear that.. It was beautiful but then I realized it looks beautiful but only on her finger.. I had few more things of them.. Father had some property of his own which comes to my name after him by his will and a good bank balance.. Of course I had taken the papers with me.. I was so disappointed with Christopher and his father was well... I never expected anything with him, for moments I thought they will steal them..
(Now I wonder if Christopher wanted me for those lands..)
I chuckled at my thoughts.. No he won't do that.. I mean he's pretty rich by himself..
Slowly I let my thoughts wonder that can I ever talk about them without feeling, a weight on my heart.. I really want to talk about them, but its hard.. Even if I think about them I feel everything happening again.. I'm happy that at least he's been proved innocent.. I traced my mother finger with my hand and slowly put it on my right hand finger..

I looked at my ring for few minutes.. But then I remember all the things professor Jones told me..
(OH GOD!)
I'm a witch.. Someone who had a trash image for witches and maybe for others too? I do not know.. Realizing even more that my future fully depends on their reaction felt like my heart stopped for a moment.. but I know Drogo he won't leave me..
(If father were here I wouldn't be that scared of people reaction at least..)
Suddenly the feeling of guilt overwhelms me.. At one point it's Bartholy's from whom I want to share everything and other side of line it's Professor Jones who knows about me but what he wants is completely opposite of them..
(I need a fresh air.)
I opened the closet picked a coat and wear it to go outside.. I took a look at the forest from the window... I want to go there.. I wish no one sees me leaving the manor otherwise they won't let me go this late.. For two moments I wanted to jump from the window directly out so I won't have to face people.. Besides I don't want to tell more lies.. I got an idea and removed the coat and stepped outside.. No one in the hallway.. Good. I marched towards the long staircase.. Okay no one here.. I remember Nicolae had called Drogo to dining. So maybe they all are there.. I quickly made my way to my room and put my coat and went outside the manor.. trying to make no voice..

Once outside the manor I took the air in and breathed it out.. I slowly roamed out enjoying the cold breeze touching my face without thinking anything I went inside the forest closed by the manor.. Yes I accept it looked pretty weird at night but there was something due to which I had no fear of these woody penerial plants or this dark night and these bushes.. The feeling that I am alone here relaxes me for moments. I accidentally stumbled through the upper root of a tree.
I cried a bit feeling myself falling down but I was careful enough not to hit my face.. When I ventured to look up again I saw two black legs... Maybe of an animal.
(Maybe?)
I felt my heart getting stopped and my finger trembled with quick breathes leaving me... I just moved my face up and saw two pair of amber coloured eyes closely watching me...
(ITS A WOLF A DAMN WOLF!)
I gasped loudly and abruptly jumped backward.. both my feet still on ground, I didn't leave his eyes he's clearly staring at me but he's making no move.. So Wolves do this thing..
(before hunting on their prey?)
But his eyes are making a different statement.. He's looking me with no wild look but it wasn't able to calm my trembling hands down... After a pregnant pause I uttered.
Me: "God Damn it, Are you even for real?"
It was a mere whisper.. I realized that this wolf is kind of strange not the killer one type.. For a second, I thought that maybe it's someones' pet given his behavior.. He isn't hurting me or growling at me... He just poked his nose on my feet as if telling me to stand up already... I carefully sit on my knees still looking at this creature as if waiting for something to happen.
Me: "Can you understand me?"
That wolf just tilted his head.. At least he is giving a reaction.. I thought of nothing and raised my hand slowly to touch his fur.. And the amusing thing was he let me do it... I touched him and then I uttered in surprise and excitement.
Me: "Oh my God.. I just touched a wolf.. That would be a great story to tell wouldn't it?"
I was still taking heavy breathes.. It's not everyday I witness a wolf staring at me.. That wolf growled at my direction.. Instinctively I raised both of my hands surrendering.
Me: "Okay okay... I won't tell."
He stopped growling and regain his attitude.
Me: "Wait.. Do you seriously mean that?"
I gave my best teeth smile
Me: "Besides being a witch.. I can read animals.. Isn't it great.."
I caressed his soft fur.. and it helped me relax.. and then I sighed..
Me: "You know what.. You're a good wolf.. And good is something that was missing in my life.."
Then I suddenly realized I am forgetting Drogo.
Me: "Well after Drogo of course... And Nicolae too And Peter too... Annnnnnnnd."
I prolonged my last word thinking whether to add Lorie in this part..
Me: "And before Lorie."
I grinned at my words... No doubt that little brat gives me hard time.. I saw a more relax look on that wolf as if he's enjoying my company.. We sat their for few more seconds.. and I smiled remembering all the moments I spend there.. They are great people they never let me feel alone.. They always tries to comfort me.. Well in their own way they do.. Nicolae may have been disappointing about my power controlling method but he's trying his best to protect me..
Me: "And I'm hiding things from them..."
I sighed heavily caressing the fur on that wolf...
Me: "You know what.. I really don't wanna do that.. But right now I cannot disappoint Professor too.. And it's not like I'm using him... It' just he doesn't know them.. He thinks they are normal but when he'll know about them maybe he will change his mind righT?"
That wolf didn't give me any reaction on that one.. I sighed heavily realizing how high I'm hoping.. What if thinks don't go that way
Me: "Every time I think I ain't gonna think about that again I'm thinking about this I'm blabbering this again.. I just can't get it out of my mind."
"How the hell am I gonna prepare for my exams."
I turned to look at that wolf again and he's still siting their with the same twinkle in his eyes... I feel like I'm familiar with this twinkle.. But where? I was thinking about when the wolf stood up..
(Uh oh Maybe he doesn't like staring)
He cried accelerating my heart beat.. Is he gonna attack me? But suddenly he left his place running at the other direction.. I placed my hand on my chest calming my heart down..
Me: "Damn.."
I return to the manor realizing they could find that I'm not there anymore... But when I returned the manor I ventured to pull the door in order to open it but instead it was went backward revealing Nicolae opening it with a visible worried look.. Well I can get where it comes from as Peter and Drogo were also with him.. He looked at me his worried look was changed by the surprise and letting me in he asked out aloud.
Nicolae: "Where were you? We were looking for you."
Me: "I.. Uhh."
I move my gaze from Nicolae to Peter and Drogo and from Drogo and Peter to Nicolae..
Me: "Well. I was out to catch some air."
I replied them as if it's the most usual thing.. Well it can be, going out for some time isn't that serious as he makes out it to be.
Nicolae: "Catch some air? At this hour?"
Me: "Well.. That's why I returned as quick as I could."
Nicolae: "Next time if you feel like catching some air please do take Peter or Drogo with you."
He replied me with a smooth tune.. Showing that he cares for me.. I looked at Drogo and Peter again..
(Do take Drogo or Peter with you as if they're some sort of thing.)
I refrain my lips to get curl.. Otherwise they're gonna think I take their worry as a joke and I don't want to explain my humor to them. I quietly nodded my head, catching a glimpse of Drogo.. who is still looking at me as if trying to read my mind.. I cannot wait to tell him about the Big Wolf I just saw..
Me: "But Nicolae.. You had said that you will let me out at evening if I want and Lorie doesn't need me."
Nicolae sighed..
Nicolae: "Hope.. I am not forbidding you or showing any right on you.. I'm asking you to be careful.. Things could get dangerous here at night."
I got touched by his point.. Why did I even ask him that.. Of course he cares for me no other reason there is.. I lowered and nodded.
Me: "I'll be careful next time... Thank you for your concern."
I replied him as gentle way as possible, I don't want him to mistook my phrase Nicolae nodded his head, gave a sweet smile and left the place to the living room..
Peter: "Whats that ring."
I looked down at my hand and remembered that I had put that ring on my finger.. I felt a sudden burden on my heart I don't want to mention about my mother right now. Drogo also looked at my hand as Peter mentions it.
Me: "Uh.. It was my mothers I found it today so I put it on.. It quiet..."
(Beautiful.)
I shrugged my shoulders not wanting to praise my own things.. Like a fool.
Me: "Uhh..Well I like it, so I put it."
Peter gave a slight smile.
Peter: "It's quiet Beautiful.. Yes."
I blushed instantly though I didn't make it but I don't know how to take compliments. So I shrugged my shoulders again.. Looking at Drogo.
(I hope he won't ask more about it.)
As Peter also leaves I smiled at Drogo.. Why do I smile like Idiot whenever I see him.. I need to control my hormones now.
Drogo: "So my little thing likes to get daring at night."
I blushed instantly getting his innuendo..
Me: "
We both marched towards the stairs to get to our room, I wanted to tell Drogo about the Big Wolf I just saw and ask more about it but I couldn't make myself to start the conversation.
Me: "It was just a walk at the Forest and nothing."
I saw a sudden change on his face..
Drogo: "Wait a minute... You went to the Forest?"
(Okay... I can clearly see where it goes now.)
Me: "Uh.. Yeass."
Drogo: "Hope.. What were you thinking? Do you know there are animals on that Forest."
(You bet there are.)
Drogo: "I thought.. We thought that you were out as if walking on the road... Nicolae will eat you if he gets to know you went in Forest all alone."
Me: "Oh.. I actually like Greenry... So I.."
Drogo must've caught my ruined mood so he didn't make any more comments on it and his face soothes..
Drogo: "Leave it.. Next time when you feel like playing with fire do take me too.. Little thing."
He winked at me.. Well I was gonna tell him about the Wolf but given their reaction I don't want any more scolding besides when I can live with Vampires then why not a pet Wolf?
Me: "Okay."
This morning, with great devotion I had reached the University.. Study study and study is what I could think about... At morning Lorie gave me a hard time.. Don't know why she was extra grumpy today.. Well she's off to her school now.. I made my way for Prof. Jones class... When I reached their I found it strange that all the front seats are already full with students or Girls to be precised.. Grumbling a bit I sit on the second last row.. In a few minutes Sarah also joined me..
Sarah: "Tell me about last evening Hope."
Me: "What last evening?"
Sarah: "Oh shut up, how could you hide it from me?"
Me: "No I seriously don't get you.."
Sarah: "That you had dine with Ivan and Bartholys' both together on one table."
Me: "Oooh... you forgot to add At Bartholy Manor.."
Sarah: "No way.. So it's real.. I thought Ivan was pranking me."
But then Professor Jones arrived and we turned silent...
Sarah: "So how did it went then?"
Me: "I'll tell you later."
Prof. Jones: "Miss. Smith and Miss.Osborne.."
(Uh-Oh)
Professor gave us a warning glare and we both shut up for he turned towards the board again and I gave Sarah a glare which she replied with a 'What' expression through her hands..
After professors' class I had to attend the lab after which I practically run towards the Library.. I cannot waste anymore time.. Although I had been good with my assignments but still I have to catch up on learning.. I saw Peter sitting at an end of Library but gesture him a nod and continued my way to other end..
Looking at those large shelves I picked the required books and started studying... I had already give a bit of attention towards Myth and Legend so apart from that I took all books.. After a long time of studying I realized there was a shadow of someone at the table.. I turned back and saw Professor Sebastian standing at my back rather observing me.
Me: "Oh.. Professor."
Without any other thought I stood up to greet him and all my books fell on the ground..
ME: "Ohh."
(Oh Clumsy I am)
Avoiding the mess I made I still gave him a warm smile.. Prof.Jones looked down at my books..
Prof. Jones: "Let me."
As he bend down I also bend down to pick the books but then our head hit.
Me: "Ouch."
(DAMN!)
I put a hand on my head.. Professor gave me a rather shocked look.. Right now I won't be surprised if he takes me as an idiot.
Me: "Sorry."
Prof. Jones: "You okay Hope."
Me: "yeah sure."
I picked few books and let him pick the others... Professor gave a brief look to all the books before putting them down, I felt a need to explain the reason of bringing books of all subjects,
Me: "I was preparing for exams Professor."
Prof. Jones: "Every subject but Myth and Legend."
Me: "Uh.."
He didn't let me finish and continued with a mischievous look.
Prof. Jones: "From first to mid then to last row and then this.. And I thought you were curious about Myth and Legends."
Me: "No. Actually Professor I had already worked on mythology and about class well.."
I tried to find more accurate words to put my thought.
Me: "Your subject is quiet meritorious that girls find it difficult to leave a seat for other at front."
Prof. Jones: "Girls?"
He replied with a mocked tune... Did I really had to mention GIRLS! I immediately defend myself.
Me: "Well as you can see the first rows are full with them so.."
I shrugged my shoulder leaving that awkward conversation on its own and placed myself on my seat again.. I glance at him again waiting for his response but he gave no reply instead he gave a quick nod.
Prof. Jones: "I won't bother you if you're working for exams.. Best of Luck for exams Hope.. If you need any help with Myth and Legend, you know where to find me."
(Uh.. did he meant his office or his house?)
Me: "Thank you Professor.. But you don't bother me.."
Prof. Jones: "You can call me Sebastian when we're alone.. you know."
He told me this the second time.. I felt it pointless to refuse him.. It feels like he himself wants me to call him that.. Well that's funny, maybe he's just trying to make me comfortable right?
Me: "Okay... Sebastian."
He smile back and after giving the last nod he left the library leaving me with my studies again.. I needed to memorize my things so I didn't give him other thoughts..
I didn't even know how much time has passed my shoulders were profoundly aching and I was damn starving..
(How does people study for whole damn night?)
Me: "At least I'm doing well on it."
I packed my things and went towards Canteen to get something to eat.. I searched for Sarah or Ivan.
..: "Booh."
I heard a voice behind my back and turned quickly a bit shocked... well I should've guessed that.. Sarah.
Me: "Sarah.. How are you?"
Sarah: "m good you tell? I didn't see you since morning."
Me: "Yeah I was working for exams."
She seized my arm and took me towards a bench,
Sarah: "Come on.. you have too much to tell me."
Me: "At least let me get something to eat."
Sarah: "Later, tell me right now.. What happened yesterday night exactly."
Me: "Sarah.. I'm afraid you are going to get disappointed because neither either of them fought or taunt each other.."
Sarah: "From the beginning I said."
I sighed heavily.. It's a shame how excited she is.
Me: "Well Ivan came to drop me to manor..."
Sarah: "Wait.. Why did he come to drop you.. Were you both together yesterday?"
I became quiet uncomfortable with the topic.. DAMN why does everything comes to this point.
Me: "Do you want to know or not?"
Sarah frowns for a moment but then her curiosity gets the better of her and she nodded.
Me: "So it was that Nicolae was at door coincidentally."
I focused on my last word to make sure she doesn't make any other presumptions.
Sarah: "Coincidentally..."
Me: "I'm not telling anymore."
I started to fold my arms but she holds me back.
Sarah: "okay okay okay... I won't interrupt now."
Me: "Well then what.. He said he said brought something for me for dinner then he turned to Ivan and asked him if he wants to join."
I stopped in between and then continued again.
Me: "Ivan being so Ivan accepted it and we had dinner simple."
Sarah: "It was just that?"
She asked again quiet disappointed.
Me: "Well I told it's nothing."
Sarah: "What happened inside the manor.. And how did your..."
She didn't completed her sentenced when someonegrabs a chair beside me and sits on it.. Having light brown hair and light blueeyes with a proud smile on his face as if it explains his rude behavior..Unlike other he was wearing a White and Black Jersey jacket with a B on his leftside... I think I'veseen him.. But where?
