"Mom, can I camp out tonight" Evelyn asked her mother over dinner. She camps every once in awhile in the woods her family owns. "Sure. You do every Saturday, so why not?" The letter arrived in one night, so Evelyn wanted to see how long it would take for this letter to arrive. She didn't send the letter for more than 20 minutes ago. "Can I come ev? I'll be good" "no le. I want to go by myself tonight." Liam frowned "ok, what about next Saturday?" He said getting hopefull "We'll see Liam" She took her last bite of her dinner and went upstairs to get everything. "Timer, check. Tent, check. Blankets, check. Flashlight, check. Extra pair of clothes, check. Snacks, check. Notebook, check. Ok, I've got everything. So let's go." She mumbled to herself. She went down stairs to the back door and opened it "Bye mom! Bye le! See you tomorrow!" And she headed off to the lake, with her backpack of camping gear tagging along. She finally set up camp infront of the "magic" spot in the sand. She set the timer and started to get everything situated in the tent. She then heard a sound coming from behind her. She pecked out of the tent and found two papers in the sand. About 40 minutes the paper takes to travel, him read it, and write back. One was the paper that had her music on it and the other was his letter to her. It read:
Dear Evelyn,
I gave the music back to you in hopes of good luck for your contest at your school. And I do play guitar and a little piano. You have a very nice name, can you tell me more about you? Like your favorite color, favorite flowers, anything like that. I would like to get to know you better. And if you'd like we could meet up at the lake sometime, I could get to know you and you could get to know me. What do you call that song your working on? I really like it and I think my friend George does too.

Oh no.. He wants to meet me! He can't meet me! I'm in 2019! He is in 1965! Dang it Dang it Dang it. I got out a paper and pencil. Then started writing my own. Telling him the answers to all his questions. I put it outside of the tent and slide under the blankets to fall asleep. Dreaming of a sweet dream.
