I headed outside with my friends after the end of school. Austin was Lazily standing in the parking lot Luckily with a car this time.
It is then I realized that I had to go with Austin which meant I had to tell friends about this.
Oh God Save me
"Um Guys. I wanted to tell you something "I spoke with voice as small as possible. I just wish Beth didn't hear anything of this. But that was next to impossible as she was just beside me. They were just waiting for me to speak. Taking a deep breath I spoke"I am going with Austin today-"
With this said I was instantly interrupted by Bethin middle"What are you Insane?"
I tried to tell them Entire thing but was again cut by lice" Woohoo Second Date huh Jenny. Have Fun"
I don't know when they will stop interrupting me in middle. They didn't seemed to stop anytime soon so I just blurted out "I am just going for project purpose"
Luckily they did hear me
"Just project work?"Alice said with a sad tone.
Gosh this Girl seriously needs to stop making up stories in the mind. Before they could speak anything
I waved my friends goodbye and headed to his car ignoring the death glares of Beth.
"Where are we going?" I asked.
"To my house, we need to crack this silly project. Remember?" He said kind of interested, which was kind of shocking.
Don't get me wrong but I had never thought a guy like Austin would actually care about homework, or a project. That's just unbelievable.
The drive to his home was damn silent. As we both were silent but the whole volcanos were boiling inside my body. The boy was driving as if there was no tomorrow. I tightly shut my eyes for my dear life. I don't understand why this Guy has to be always in so hurry?
He must have noticed my fear as he slowed down a little. It felt good and I relaxed a bit.
"Sorry. I didn't mean to scare you by my drive." He said with a chuckle. I ignored him. After sometime he pulled in front of a beautiful house. House would not be proper word to describe sight in front of me. It was a fucking huge mansion.
The yard was beautiful with cleanly cut grass with blooming colorful flowers and amazing marble fountain in the middle. I turned at Austin and he was smiling at me. Yeah a genuine smile and not his signature smirk, the smile girls die for.
"So I see you like my house." He said molding his smile into smirk again.
"I wouldn't call it a house, it's a freaking mansion." He chuckled softly at my words.
"Come on, let's get you inside." Grabbing my hands he pulled me inside. His touch caused electricity to flow through my entire body. But he seemed to be not affected at all. Touching me is just normal for him but for me a whole bunch of butterflies dancing in my stomach. I shook my head to avoid the weird feeling.
His house was beautiful in and out. We were walking on spiral staircase, when we heard a sobbing of small boy.
"Whoa, is my little champ crying?" Austin asked rubbing tears from the boy's eyes softly "What happened?"
"I broke my favorite action man." The boy said between his sobs. I opened the door to see what was happening and I witnessed the school's douche mending his brother's action man. He seemed pretty cute with his brother. By the efforts he was putting to mend the toy, anyone could tell Austin loved his brother a lot which proved deep down inside a bad boy, there are feelings. I wonder why he likes to keep this bad boy image.
"Here's you action man totally ready for action again." Austin said kissing his brother. He was now literally grinning from ear to ear. You could say straight away he was related to Austin. He had same facial structure like him and was adorable.
"Are you Austin's new girlfriend?" He asked turning his gaze to me.
And also their behavior was same I must say.
"No, No. I am just his project partner." I said awkwardly.
"Does that mean we can go on date someday?" He said with naughty smile. My eyes shot open.
'Typical Austin.'
"She's too old for you, Tyler." Austin said laughing.
We both headed to his room.
"Don't ever think of telling anything about this in school." He said
I wondered what he was talking about then it struck me. "Oh about you being a softy, huh?" I smirked.
"I'm not." he said embarrassed. I just laughed at his reaction.
We reached his room. I was shocked to see clean room in front of me. My theory of bad boy's room was proved totally wrong by Austin. I thought boys have messy rooms with clothes and books scattered here and there. But his room was even cleaner than mine.
There was a king sized bed in middle a flat screen TV with Xbox connected, a study table and couch. Walls were painted light blue and were decorated with many photos of Austin, his brother, family, and friends. I smiled looking at the pictures. Austin looked cuter in his childhood.
Austin turned to face me. "So sweetheart since we are in my room is there anything else you want to do other than that silly project?" he whispered coming dangerously closer to me. I could feel my cheeks already warming up.
Damn this boy exactly knows what to say to bring this reaction out of me.
Play it cool Jenny. He is just trying to distract you.
"Not so easy, Austin." I whispered in the same manner slightly pushing him away. I could see a small smile on his lips by my boldness.
"Let's just start the project."
"You are so mood killer, I'm bored." he said by lazily sitting on bed. "How can you even think of a project with such a hot boy beside you?"
I rolled my eyes.
"Let's play twenty questions." he said suddenly rising from bed and coming closer to me. I was about to say 'no' but the innocent puppy dog face he made was irresistible.
"Okay."
"Let's start by easy questions As I don't want you to run away because of my talented questions." He asked "What are your hobbies?"
"Well I love singing, reading literature, Gardening. And yours?"I asked curiously
Getting to Know Austin is what I always wanted
"Wow you are a total nerd." He said laughing on which I rolled my eyes.
"Well I love riding bikes, traveling, racing, playing guitar, reading to some extent and almost every sport."
"I am impressed. I hadn't exactly expected reading and playing guitar from a guy like you" I sincerely replied.
"I don't need to tell you my hobbies to impress you. As I know you are already impressed by my charms" he said with a playful glint in his voice. "But I'm surely not what you have heard about me."He added
The twenty questions went swiftly. We discussed about every silly thing other than the project like favorite movies, favorite songs, dreams, ambitions etc. I never had thought in my nightmares even that I would be so comfortable with Austin but I was. Actually I was enjoying his company than anyone else. I don't remember laughing so much any time before. As much as this feeling was foreign to me I wanted this time we are spending together to pause forever. I would love to forever stay like this with Austin. I feel carefree and myself with him.
But again luck is never by my side. In the middle of talking with him my stomach decided to speak. It made a weird growling sound which reminded me of being human.
"Umm. I'm extremely sorry. I didn't offer you anything to eat." He said placing his hand behind his neck nervously "What will you like to have?"Jeez, he looked damn cute. I was about to decline my hunger when my evil stomach roared again.
"Anything you have." I said with my eyes glued to floor. He finally ran to kitchen.
I explored his room for some more time to find anything which I can use to blackmail him later but sadly I couldn't find anything. I decided to head to kitchen and I was thrilled to see Austin cooking. I had never thought in my weirdest dream that he will be able to cook. He looked exactly like a handsome cook in a white apron.
Gosh why he has to be perfect in everything?
"Hey Jenny in such less time I couldn't prepare anything other than this." He said placing bacon and egg in front of me. A very sweet aroma was coming from it. My mouth was literally watering to taste it. He must have been confused by my look.
"Hey don't doubt on my cooking. I cook really well." He said playfully. So I eagerly took the first bite. It was too delicious and crispy. I couldn't believe Austin has prepared it. I had never eaten such tasty dish.
He was looking at me with terror eyes. As if his entire career was dependent on my approval. "It's damn delicious. You are the best cook." I confessed. Austin laughed a real smile of satisfactions.
When my stomach was finally full
"Fancy a walk outside, you and me in moonlight? Hey that kind of rhymed."He said cheerfully.
I chuckled in response and agreed. Before I know he grabbed my hand leading me outside. It must be normal for him but damn it brings a whole zoo in my stomach so he should really stop holding my hands. His touch really gives happy sparks in my body.
I looked up towards the night sky. It was dark with moon and clouds. Just as I notice how Grey clouds are a fat drop fell on my forehead. And soon it started raining. Rain makes me really happy. I yanked my rubber band off my hair and let my hair loose and then yanked off my jackets and boots.
"Hey what are you doing?" Austin asked with shock and surprised look.
"Stripping for you!" I joked. For a minute he actually believed me with his eyes glued on me and grin on his face. Jerk. Just when he saw me doing nothing further he walked over to me removing his jacket.
"Jenny, its cold let's get out of here or else you're going to be sick tomorrow." He said with concern filling his eyes. It felt good to know that the bad boy actually cared and that to about me. But I ignored him as it doesn't rain so nicely every day. I just started spinning around screaming at the top of my voice.
I know Austin would have totally declared me Total idiot by now but who cares. OK I care but not when it's raining.
"Have you gone crazy Jenny?" He chuckled.
"No it just feels great in rain. Letting go of all the worries and just enjoying" He was listening so carefully as if I was giving him some sort of important lecture and at the end I could see a small smile coming on his lips which felt really great.
"Even though you are acting crazy, you look breath taking." He said surprisingly soft. I looked up at him and realized his eyes fixed on me, with a strange expression on his face. It looked like he was thinking about something very deeply. He stepped closer closing the distance between us
"You are making me insane, Jenny." He whispered coming closer "I feel good with you. You are my drug" He said coming dangerously closer to me.
The next thing totally shocked me. He kissed me lightly on forehead. Everything vanished. The whole world around me seemed different and most importantly beautiful. The place he kissed felt to most important part of the body. A sharp electric effect flowed through entire body. If I could stop time I would stop it here forever. Everything was perfect. A perfect kiss in rain. But it was for very short time. And left me with even greater desire.
