LJ- I kissed her lips while she closed her eyes the tempting quiver on her lip always made me want to grip her harder and kiss her stronger.But there is nothing better than a tender kiss.Those were the ones that I missed.My eyes opened and I expected to see blonde hair but it wasn't there. It was brown and the green eyes i was used to waking up to disappeared into a brown so deep id drown.Yet this felt like home.She always felt like home no matter how much time away from her.
"Wake up baby" her lips uttered
"But i am awake"
"Wake up Lau-"
"Im awake!" i said as my eyes truly opened and Camden was there instead
"Shit"I gripped my head leaving my frenzy
"Did I scare you babe?"
"My dream it was a bit off im sorry"i said kissing her lips.the lips of the woman I had married. Her blonde hair wrapped behind her ears her cheeks rosy pink as she barely had woken up as well.
"Im prepping breakfast what would my wonderful wife like?"
"May i have pancakes with a little bit of you?"she chuckled at my cheesy joke she always did.I think she taught me to be hilarious she just didn't like to boost my ego.
"How about pancakes and eggs"
"That will do too"My wife left the room and I began to dress myself.her phone began to vibrate.Who could be texting her this early.Camden and I trusted each other we had been married for a full year now and things were great.I checked her phone but the screen was locked yet i could still see the name.Shannon. I left her phone on the side of her table and walked into the kitchen where she was was mixing the pancake batter.
I hugged her from behind and kissed her cheek.
"Mhm maybe we can go back to bed after breakfast for some brunch"she replied turning to me setting the batter aside
"Maybe you can reply to shannon whose been blowing up your phone"her expression changed a bit and i gave us space
"Dont tell me your jealous of her"she said trying to pull me in again
"Camden"i said scrunching my face
"Babe she was just congratulating me on us"
"A year later Camden?"i said removing myself from her grip
"She barely found out I didnt tell her and well she was kind of upset"

"Not in the morning when i look like a zombie or the day after a drunken night you can never leave me"

"Yeah i already called Ryan and mom, she wants us to stay with her but..."

"I know i havent told her about the house hunting though and well we are getting there before the days i told her so we can have a couple of nights in the hotel that way we will only spend a couple of days with my mom"

"Im going to go for a shower you wanna join?"

Camden-as soon as i saw that Lauren had entered the restroom i walked into our room and unlocked my phone

I walked into the big doors again after a while I found Alexandria plastered onto the glass kitchen windows
"Auntie Lauren"she said running to me
"Hi princess ive missed you"i said scooping the little girl who now knew how to walk and talk now
"I want outside"
"We can do that"i said as i opened the glass doors but the loud screaming between Ryan and Camila scared even me
"Maybe you can wait in here ill be right back okay"
"Okay"she said going back to playing with some dolls she had thrown around the kitchen
I walked towards the garage side door as the screams got louder i could hear the argument clearer
"Just leave Camila i dont have anything else to talk to you about!"before i opened the door the warm eyed woman stormed open the door
"Lauren"her face was stunned
"Hi Camila"i said hugging her, her grip tighter than usual
before i could say anything else i heard a loud noise from the garage
"Ill go talk to him"i said as she nodded and left
"Ryan what are you doing!"there was glass all over the floor and his hand was full of blood
"What are you doing here"he said looking at me as if i were a ghost

"Im sorry im just-"his face began to fall and tears as well
"You're okay its going to be fine"i replied as i got near him and hugged him
"No its not Laur for once i cant fix this"

"well i found out days before but he had been going at it for awhile"

"Oh okay" she said biting her lip something she does when shes either nervous or turned on and i didnt know why she would be either

I walked into the big office Ryan had his back turned to the door as he sat in his big chair

I heard the big front doors open. The blonde i had been tired of seeing around Lauren walked in. I hated her more than before.
"Hey uhm have you seen Lauren?she hasnnt been answering her phone"
"No uhm last time i saw her she was with Ryan in his office but he left to the store"
"I have been calling her and well ill go check in the hotel for her"
"Do you want me to come?"
"No thats fine thank you ill find my wife on my own"
Time passed and Camden called Ryan again asking about Lauren.
"Camila have you seen Lauren"
"NO, I took a shower then gave Alexandria a bath so I was not down here for a while, has Camden not found her?"
"I guess not"
I got into my car and drove somewhere only I knew Lauren would go.It was getting late and this was my last hope. I pulled up to the empty park ofcourse Laurens Range rover was the only parked car.Her body laying on the tree.She didnt even turn to look as my lights flashed on her figure.
"May i join you?"before i could sit down she was hugging me sobbing onto my shoulder.I rubbed her back not really knowing what to say or what was the problem here
"Lauren I-"
"Dont talk please just be here"i obeyed her and i hugged her as she sobbed until she placed her head on my laps and stared into the dark water.we sat like this for a couple minutes.
"I know you might not want to hear it Lauren but they must all be worried at home"
"Just tell my mom i dont care about what Camden thinks"
"What happened?"she didnt answer she stood up and went to her car
"Follow me"
she got into her car and I got into mine she drove to a hotel near by
"Im staying here you can leave but ur welcome to stay"
"i wont leave you I cant"
she walked up into the room she had already checked in god knows when
"I will set up on the couch" i said as she laid on the bed almost immediately
"No please hold me" her voice was only aabove a whisper i couldnt reject her not like this
I spooned her as she continued to cry,I began to get angry i didnt want to see her cry not like this but i felt guilty as well.I could only imagine how she cried when i hurt her,
"She cheated on me"her words made my heart drop to my stomach
"Lauren I-"
"Dont say anything Camila"she removed my hands from her grip she looked me in the face again
"She has been making me a fool"she said covering her face with her hands, i scooped her body and she laid with her head on my chest
I held her as close as i could.I kissed her forehead as she calmed down.I closed my eyes as she moved her body once i opened my eyes her lips were so close to mine.I didnt move i didnt even breath.she leaned in and kissed me.She scooped my face and i placed my hands on her waist.I kissed her tenderly.I kissed her with every part of my heart hoping to heal her pain with the skin on my lips.
I didnt want the kiss to end but i didnt want to hide anymore
"Lauren I knew" i said as she turned and looked at me again
"I know"she whispered as she caressed my face.She fell asleep soon after.

"Damn it Shannon you shouldnt be here"
"Lauren isnt here,why shouldn't I"
"She told me she was okay but thats it i dont know if something is going on with her brother or if I dont know what if she found out about us"
:"How I didnt say anything and me and you are the only two that know"she said as she caressed the blondes face
"Dont do this again Shan"
:"Because youre sober?"
"Well then this should help"she said handing her over whiskey
"Leave Shannon"she said giving back the whiskey and closing the door on the other womans face
"Fuck" Camden hizzed knowing this could be the end

I woke up and Lauren was still asleep, i got dressed and texted Ryan.Apparently Camden was oblivious that this all was about her.
"Are you going to text all morning while you have me here laying next to you"her morning voice raspier than usual
"I would love to lay here with you but I think we need to go back home"
"I dont want to go"
"Are you not going to confront Camden?"
:"What for,theres no point"
"Lauren this isnt the end of the world"
"but it will be an end of a world"
"And so what that world is ending for a reason, one that you couldnt control you gave her everything Lauren what else would she want"

my head was hurting but i hadnt heard from Lauren and the pit of my stomach was hurting all of this felt bad. I drove to Laurens moms house, her car was already there.
As i walked in Camila was making breakfast for Alexandria.
"Is she here?"
"Upstairs shes showering":she replied with attitude in her tone
"Thank you"
I walked up the various stairs and walked into Laurens room.As i walked in she walked out of the shower.I couldnt read her face.
"Where have you been Lauren, youre my wife and you just tell me youre okay but nothing else!"she just began to get dressed as if i wasnt here
"Lauren what the fuck you said if anything happened we would work this out"
"What is there to work out Camden, what have you done that we need to work out"she said getting closer to me
Shannon went through my head but there was no way she could have found out.I never wanted to hurt her but a part of me knew i still cared for my ex even though i shouldnt.
"I dont know Lauren, I havent done anything but be here for you these past days"
"Are you sure im the only one youve been with Camden"The space between us wasnt enough
"What are you talking about"i said my pulse increasing
"I dont know Camden, I dont know"she said leaving my view and dressing herself
"Im going to go eat breakfast now"
"Thats it Lauren?"

"Lauren"i said trying to grip her hand that i lost of soon after
I didnt continue arguing with her i walked down the stairs with her.
"Thanks for making my favorite"Lauren said smiling at Camila,
"Youre welcome"

"How are you baby"she said to Alexandria ignoring me completely
"Can you please not ignore me"
"I dont know what youre talking about"
"Damn it Laure!"
"Can you please not scream around the baby"Camila interjected

"Ill let you two work this out"Camila said leaving outside with Alexandria

"Mom please just dont worry about it"
