Marcus, Marcus, Marcus. All I have been thinking about was damn Marcus Rashford. He has been trying to ask me out for days, but I have been rejecting you. Yes, I know most girls would gladly say yes but there is something about him I don't like. Maybe it's because he travels a lot because he is a professional footballer. I don't know what it is, but I don't like it.
My brother, Luke Shaw knows that Marcus likes me and he is trying to get us to go out together. Luke will die trying to get us to date, but I just keep rejecting. I think we should just stay being friends. I mean, we play around like normal best friends, but at times he flirts, puts his hand on my lower back and even kisses my cheek every chance he gets.

"Hey y/n! How is my favorite sister doing?" Luke says hugging me tightly.
I chuckle, "I am your only sister stupid!"
"That's why your my favorite sister. Even though you annoyed me most of our childhood. But, I got used to you after a few years." He laughed as I punched his shoulder.
"Why did you want me to come over bro?" I ask as we walk into his house.
Before he could answer, Marcus walks out of the downstairs bathroom.
"Luke who-" He looks at me and instantly stops speaking. "Uh hey y/n."
"Hello Marcus." I wave slightly.
"Erm Luke. Can I talk to you for a moment?" He looks at Luke.
"Sure. Y/n, you know where everything is. Make yourself a home, again." He follows Marcus into another part of the house.
I sit on the couch and turn the TV on. Even with the TV on, I can hear Luke and Marcus talking.
"Bro, what is she doing here? You know how much I like her, and she doesn't like me. I don't even think she wants to be around me." Marcus whispers.
"I know, that's why you both are here. She doesn't hate you or anything. She's probably just trying to get used to being around you and the team more. I can tell the way she looks at you, that she somewhat likes you." I can pretty much here Luke smile.
"Sure, but she is a really beautiful girl. Beautiful girls like her would not go out with me. I've been single for 3 years."
"It's okay. Someone will date you bro."
Marcus and Luke come back into the living room and take a seat in the chairs. We watch TV for about an hour before my job calls me. I stand up and walk to Luke's dining room table and write something a piece of paper.
"Luke, my job called me. I have to go." I hug him and kiss his cheek.
"Bye sis. Love you."
I turn to Marcus and hand him a piece of paper. He slowly takes it out of my hand confusingly.
"What is this?" He asked.
"I heard your guys conversation earlier. Next time, I'd speak quite if I were you." I chuckle. "Any girl s lucky to date you. I wrote down my number. You're welcome."
As I walk out of the door, I hear Luke and Marcus celebrating.
"Good job brother!" I hear Luke cheer.
Not even 5 minutes later, I get a message.
New Number: Hey it's Marcus. I'm picking you up on a date Friday at 6pm ;-)
