Here's a new chapter, in this chapter Davina will be explaining about Asgardian's and their lifestyle amongst other things and I'm aware some things may not be accurate but that's the point as I'm making things my own to give it a twist. I just thought I'd point that out as I don't want people pointing out something that they think is wrong when really it's just something I've come up with and put a twist to. Anyway I hope you enjoy the chapter
The next day....
Davina's pov
I leave the spare room and make my way downstairs to the kitchen. I enter the kitchen and find Kol, his siblings and Hayley sat round the table talking "morning" I say they all look up and Kol smiles "good morning love. Did you sleep well?" he asks pulling out a chair that's next to him "I slept fine" I reply as I sit down placing my head on his shoulder. "So Davina?" Klaus says making me look up at him "yes Klaus" I reply "you're a goddess and you're from a planet called Asgard" he says "yes I am" I reply lifting my head off Kol's shoulder "tell us more" Rebekah says "what do you want to know?" I ask with a sigh there's no point in refusing to tell them anymore not after my grandmother showed up yesterday. "Everything as long as you feel comfortable telling us" Elijah replies "okay well I'm Davina Lokidottir and I am the goddess of fire, beauty and virtue and I am the Princess of Asgard" I say "interesting, what are your powers and abilities?" Klaus asks making me roll my eyes and I hear Kol scoff next to me. "I have super durability, super agility, super strength, I heal quickly, I can fly and I can turn invisible those are some of my abilities" I explain "that's awesome" Kol comments making me blush as he kisses my cheek making butterflies flutter in my stomach. "What else can you do?" Elijah asks "I'm prone to fire as well as ice, fire and heat cannot hurt me nor can ice and harsh cold harm me, I can forge weapons out of fire and ice. I can conjure flames in my hands and I can pretty much set anything on fire, I can increase and decrease the heat of a fire and I can easily put a fire out and I can literally set myself on fire and become a human torch and will burn and destroy anything in my path but that only happens when I'm really pissed off and if I'm facing a dangerous foe" I explain "you just keep getting even more interesting by the minute" Kol says making me smile so I discreetly start rubbing my foot against his ankle making him shift in his seat and a low chuckle leaves his lips. "Kol quit gushing over your girlfriend" Rebekah says he grins and sticks his tongue out at her "I can if I want too. It's not everyday a person dates a goddess. I'm a very lucky man" Kol retorts making me blush and I grab his hand under the table making him turn his head to me and wink at me. "So is that all you can do?" Hayley asks "no there is more I can do" I reply "what are they?" Rebekah asks "I'm telepathic, I can read minds and mentally communicate with someone from my brain" I explain Klaus looks alarmed and I sigh and roll my eyes as I hold my other hand up since the other is holding Kol's under the table. "I know what you're going to ask and the answer is no I haven't read any of your thoughts. I don't tend to read people's thoughts even though I can, I believe people have the right to keep their thoughts private so I refrain myself from reading people's thoughts unless the person is a threat and an enemy then in that case I will read their thoughts" I say he scowls but doesn't say anything "haven't you ever been tempted to read someone's mind?" Rebekah questions "oh yeah all the time but I don't although there have been times where someone's thoughts have been way too loud and clear for me to not hear" I respond thinking of how many times I've accidentally read Kol's mind because his thoughts have been very loud and clear for me not to ignore. "How does it work with reading someone's mind? Do you have to focus on them?" Kol asks squeezing my hand under the table making me smile "no I can hear people's thoughts without having to focus. As a child it was learned I could hear multiple people's thoughts all at once and it got too much to me so I was taught how to block out the thoughts and only hear them if I wanted too" I explain "can you hear my baby's thoughts?" Hayley asks curiously "yes all the time although I have tried not too listen to her thoughts but she somehow knows of my presence and she knows I can hear her thoughts and she is very persistent, she does not like being ignored" I respond which makes them all smile. "Could you tell us what she's thinking now?" Rebekah asks I glance at Hayley's bump and smile as the unborn baby girl's thoughts come rushing to me. "She likes the sound of your voice Hayley and yours too Klaus" I say they both smile "but she doesn't like it when you shout. It upsets her when you shout Klaus" I say he frowns "what else is she thinking?" Hayley asks "she's planning on pulling an all nighter tonight and do somersaults in your womb" I respond making them chuckle "you better not" Hayley mutters stroking her baby bump. "So was telepathy the last of your powers?" Elijah asks "no I can also shape shift. I can change into anyone or anything" I respond they look intrigued by this "let us see" Rebekah says I sigh and close my eyes, a gold flash runs up my body and I turn myself into Rebekah which freaks Kol out a bit as he scoots away and lets go of my hand but the second I'm back to normal he takes my hand in his and leans into my ear "please never change yourself into my sister, that was creepy" he whispers making me giggle so I turn my head and kiss his cheek making him smile. "That's pretty cool. If you can shape shift that means you can hide from the witches and Marcel" Hayley "that I can" I reply "you will need to disguise yourself since the witches think you've left" Kol says "wait why do they think she's left?" Rebekah asks "because they saw my ship fly away and they thought I was inside but I wasn't, it was just Rocket and Groot in the ship" I explain "ah so the freaky creatures have left. That's good" Klaus replies making me scowl and glare at him "don't call them that, just because they look different and they're from another realm doesn't mean they're freaky creatures. They have feelings and they're more human than most Midguardian's I've come across" I snap he holds his hands up in defense. "Nik please don't piss off my girlfriend" Kol says "so if that's the last of your powers? Why don't you tell us a bit about Asgard?" Klaus asks "well there's a lot about Asgard to tell but I'm only going to tell you the basics. Asgard is one of nine realms and we're a little old fashioned I guess you can say but we're also a bit more advanced than Midguard. Our technology is completely different, magic and technology is one and the same in Asgard. We have armies to defend and protect Asgard and all the nine realms. On Asgard we have the best soldiers and sorcerers, we tend to have magic from the moment we are born and we don't need to tap into it but not every Asgardian masters in magic nor do they use magic, some or most prefer to be masters of combat fighting with swords and axes rather than be a master of magic and use that as a weapon in battle" I explain smiling as talking about Asgard makes me realize how much I miss it. "What about Asgardian's in general?" Elijah questions "what about them?" I ask "what makes them different from humans here on earth?" he asks making me almost laugh at his question but I refrain from doing so. "Well for starters we're a lot stronger and not as judgmental or petty like humans are. Asgardian's are immune to any and all diseases so that disease humans call cancer we can't get, our health is generally better, every Asgardian has excellent stamina and agility and we have a very long lifespan" I explain "how long is the lifespan of an Asgardian?" Kol asks "five thousand years give or take" I reply their eyes go wide at my answer "bloody hell" Rebekah responds making me laugh. "We actually age rather slowly. We go through three stages of physical aging. I've had my first one already, I stopped aging at 18 and I've looked like this for a thousand years. I will continue to look like this for another one or two thousand years before I start aging again but only for a few years before I stop aging once more" I reply
"Do you all stop aging at 18 for your first stage of aging?" Kol asks "no actually, we all stop aging for the first time at different ages. For my father and uncle who have also only been through one stage of aging themselves. They stopped aging in their 20's. My father stopped aging at 27 as for my uncle he stopped aging at 28" I explain "how interesting" Elijah mutters "damn so when were you sexually mature?" Klaus asks making Kol glare at him "that's very inappropriate of you to ask brother" he retorts "I'm just asking" Klaus replies holding his hands up in defense "I became sexually mature sometime when I was 11" I respond making their eyes widen "that's young" Rebekah replies "it is but don't human females start going through something similar around that age? I believe you call it puberty?" I question "well yes that's true" Rebekah replies "so female Asgardian's becoming sexually mature at 11 is normal although it is rare. Mostly female Asgardian's become sexually mature between the ages of 14-16 but I was just younger" I explain "what of the men? When do they become sexually mature?" Rebekah asks making her brothers groan making me and Hayley laugh slightly "the men usually become sexually mature at 12 but 13 at the latest" I respond "what about reproducing? Is it done the same as it is here?" Rebekah questions "yes Rebekah Asgardian's breed the same way Midgardian's do. We have sex although the length of an Asgardian woman's pregnancy varies. An Asgardian woman can be pregnant anywhere from six months to nine months or even longer, it varies on how fast the baby grows, how strong the baby is and how strong the baby's parents are. I was carried for nine months" I explain Rebekah looks very intrigued by this "I wish I was only pregnant for six months, I'm suffering from awful backache" Hayley comments "I could give you a back rub" Elijah offers making her cheeks turn a scarlet red colour as she bites her lip. "Anything else about Asgardian pregnancy?" Rebekah asks "Asgardian women don't tend to get the usual symptoms that humans do. We don't get morning sickness but we do get emotional and very rowdy at least that's what my grandmother told me and when it comes to giving birth the father isn't allowed to be present in the room, only the woman's mother and the healer is allowed in the room" I explain "what I want to know is how did your grandmother know who we are and about the spell that turned us into vampires?" Elijah asks "that would be down to Asgard's gatekeeper Heimdall he has a special ability where he can see the present and the future and he can see every soul in the universe. He would've mostly seen you lot be born as well as become vampires and my grandmother is a master in magic, she taught my father and me. She knows some of the most complicated and powerful spells, she knows when a spell is weak, tweeted or dangerous and she must've somehow looked into the spell that turned you into vampires" I explain "what about the whole infertility spell that she mentioned was included in the spell? How did she manage to point out the spell when I've looked over the spell many times and never once spotted a spell that could cast out our ability to reproduce?" Kol questions "the infertility spell will be hidden within the spell, your mother was obviously very crafty and she wanted that little bit to be kept discreet and hidden" I respond "that makes sense, she always kept her plans discreet" Klaus replies "Davina do you think you could find a way to reverse the infertility spell without making us mortal?" Rebekah questions curiously "of course but I wouldn't be able to do it with any of the grimores you have here. The spell I need to do that will be in Asgard" I reply "Rebekah enough there's no need for her to reverse the spell, it should be left alone" Klaus explains "so you get to have a child but I can't. If Davina has the ability to reverse the spell then I can have children" Rebekah retorts "enough you need to get that silly little dream of yours out of your head. I will not allow you to put our immortality at risk just because you want a child!" Klaus snaps "that's not your choice to make Klaus. Rebekah has a right to make her own decisions and reversing the spell won't do anything to your immortality. I can reverse the spell on Rebekah alone so it won't affect you lot so if Rebekah wants the infertility spell reversed then I shall do it for her" I respond glaring at Klaus I don't like how he controls Rebekah. "Thank you Davina" Rebekah replies giving me a thankful smile "you're very welcome now if you'll excuse me I'm going out for a walk to clear my head" I respond letting go of Kol's hand as I stand up and without saying another word I leave the kitchen.
Just as I reach the front door and go to open it Kol suddenly appears in front of me "may I accompany you?" he asks "yeah sure" I reply he smiles and takes my hand in his as he opens the door and we walk out the house shutting the door behind us. "Hold on I need to shape shift so I don't get recognized" I say pulling my hand from his so I shape shift, a gold wave washes over me and I make myself look a curvy Latina woman with black hair. "How do I look?" I ask turning to Kol "you look great but I prefer your real face and body, nothing could compare to your natural self, you're too gorgeous" he replies making me blush "don't worry this look is only temporary" I say as I slip my hand in his as we walk down the path. "So how are you feeling after yesterday?" he asks "you mean after finding out my father is dead?" I ask he nods "yes how are you feeling?" he asks as we cross the street "sad, I still can't believe he's dead. He's always been there for me and now he's dead it just seems so unreal" I respond "I'm sorry I can't be much support I've never really lost someone I've been close too. I never mourned for my parents as they were terrible parents and I certainly didn't mourn much for my older brother Finn as we despised each other, I only ever mourned for my little brother" he replies I look at him and flash him a smile "it's okay, you just being here now helps" I reply he smiles and leans down to plant a kiss on my forehead "I will be here in anyway I can" he replies "thank you" I reply as we reach the French quarter and head to the cafe we always seem to go too whenever we're here, it's become our little go to spot when we want to get away from his siblings and release some stress although I have another way of releasing stress which is exercising and practicing my fighting which I haven't done in a while but I really do need to start exercising and practicing otherwise if I don't it could have a physical impact on my powers and it will affect my fighting performance. I need a well secluded place to exercise and practice my fighting skills, maybe Kol knows a place, I'll ask him later.
