-AMANDA-
-Blake rides like a freak! He's driving way too fast!-
"SLOW DOWN!!!" I clinch on his waist. -If he keeps going on like this, I don't know what might happen next!- I can feel his stomach and back vibrate. Looks like he's enjoying my nervousness.
We arrived infront of 'Subway'. He gets off and takes my hand. The place isn't crowded, thank god. Even so, girls glare at Blake as if he was a snack. He is very attractive, but behind every beauty are also flaws.
He orders 'Chicken Teriyaki', 'Roast Beef' , Chips, Cookies and Two Softdrinks. I offered him money, but he shakes his head and takes out a gold CreditCard. He must be rich....
It's awkwardly silent. I need to do something. He's sipping on the straw while looking outside the window. He looks like a model. That defined jaw line- HORMONES! UGH!-
"So, Blake. How come you are good in history?" I know it's a stupid question.
He shrugs." I'm good at a lot of things. Like manipulating, fighting and bring everyone down on their knees, begging for more~" His eyebrows wiggle, but he still looks attractive. I roll my eyes and he chuckles. "I like history, since I was a little kid." He gives me a warm smile and looks like he just remembered something.
"Why? Did you wanted to rule the world like the Kings, one day?" I sarcastically shoot back.
He just laughs at me."Maybe." His eyes meet mine again and he leans closer, giving me an uneasy feeling. "History is based on true stories afterall. It's not like other stories that are made up, spread by Shits and accepted by assholes. I mean, stories...just like how gossip works." -I admit, he is a wise and yet rebellious person.-
"Now, may I ask you a question?" I startle a bit, but nod anyways. He chuckles and places his drink on the table, while staring into my eyes. "How... or why are you friends with ...Johnson?" I can hear despise drained in his words. I gulp, hoping he would drop the topic. I try to ignore him, but he's patiently waiting for an answer.
"He's... been helping me through a lot and I don't see a reason why not... why do you ask?" His jaw muscles twitch and his face expression turn blank. -Somehow, it like I've just killed the mood.-
He folds his hands on the table
and smirkes."Helping with what?"
I flush and sip on my coke. -Like hell I'd admit my weakness!- His smile grows wider. "I-it's not what you think it is!..."
He raises an eyebrow. "Oh really? Then why can't you answer back?" -Damn it! He really has a point in that.-
I try to avoid his eyes. "I asked you a question first..."
He playfully rolls his eyes and leans back. " Does it really matter who asked first?" -I give up! This guy isn't going to back off.-
I take a deep breath, as if I have to confess my biggest secret. " I am not good in...math. I can't catch up with some topics." He shakes his head and places a hand on his mouth. "What is it?" I pout.
"You?! Bad in math? How?! That's easy! And I thought you were a nerd!" -Wow, now I don't want to talk to him! 'Easy'... yeah, sure!- He laughs and holds his stomach. "Sorry, Cupcake. Can you repeat that again?" I narrow my eyes at him, making his smile almost reaches his eyes.
"You heard enough!"
"Kay m'am!" He grins.
"There's nothing eeeaasssyyy with math! Once you get out of the topic, you always miss the coming ones!"
Blake does a fake cough. "What poor excuses!" I glare at him. "Want to know the key? It's called study. When I say study I mean, sit your ass on the chair for hours until you understand that shit. Think logically, as if you are going to question a fuck ass witness. You need to force all you've got to get some answers." I shake my head.
"Your way of thinking is disturbing. What do numbers and some letters have to do with integrations?"
He rolls his eyes and groans. "You really are a stubborn ass woman. Okay, let me ask another question, what does love have to do with life?" -What?!-
"What kind of question is that?" I ask.
"Answer." He demands.
I sigh and try to form a understandable reason. -Love?... I DON'T FREAKING KNOW!- "Why would you like to live a life without love? If no one loves you, what's the point in living? Afterall, love is a way to show how much you care for a person." -Damn, that's cheesy!-
He amusingly looks at me and snorts out a laugh. "Yeah, kinda... Impressive that you know that."
I knitt my eyebrows. "Blake..."
He clicks his tongue."Back to the question with numbers and letters. Our world is depending on technology. And technology has something to do with numbers and letters. With out those things, there is no 'Life'. Essential things wouldn't function. For example, those Heart Rate measurements in hospitals, without them there won't be any safe operations and without those operations a person will surely die. If you ask me, that's the kind of way I'm thinking."
-Blake Cohen, a jerk and the biggest bastard I have ever met, is actually intelligent. His words are on point... He reminds me of Raven.-
Again, the silence has taken over the mood. He's waiting for me to talk. "You remind me of Raven. You have some similarities..." I accidentally blabber out. He widens his eyes in a offended way.
"Oh please! Don't compare me with that fucking wretch! We have nothing in common! I'm hot, intelligent and the best. While he is a fucking plain-looking loser." He crosses his arms as if I just insulted him. -Mr. Egoistic...-
"Why don't you like him?"
-I really can't think of a reason to hate Raven. He's like an lovely angel stuck in a scary mans body.-
He makes a sarcastic laugh. "Don't Like? I despise that faggot! I wish he were dead!" His mesmerising green eyes got some dark shades around them. -It's scary...-
My mouth is kind of sealed. His eyes still have that weird look. As if he was about to kill someone. -'If looks could kill' ...-
"What has he ever done to you?..." I silently ask and avoid his eyes.
His hands suddenly turn into fists making his veins pop out. I glance at his frustrated face. "You don't know the cruel things he has done... Of course you wouldn't! Someone like him can easily turn into a fucking innocent angel."
-Why do I feel like he is lying, but at the same time, it's the truth? It's either he's right or just a good actor. -
I stay silent and don't move an inch. -I'm curious! What happened between them? Who is good and who is bad?...-
I think we sat in there for like 15 minutes. We didn't exchange glances or talked with each other-... weird...-
He breaks the tension between us. "That's enough for today. I'll bring you home." I nod and he grabs my hand.

Blake drove me back to my home. He just dropped me off and didn't say a word to me. As soon as he left I walk into my house, still having a lot of unexplained questions on my mind.
I walk to the kitchen and spot a paper hanging on the fridge door. It says: 'Miles and I are in the mall. Spaghetti is inside the fridge. Will come back around 6pm.' According to my watch, it is still 4pm. I go upstairs to my room and check my phone.
-Oh shoot! What should I write to Courtney and Crystal?! They must have been sick worried about me!-
I've missed 25 messages and 15 missed calls from Courtney, 16 messages and 9 missed calls from Crystal...I've been added to a group? "Fam-SHIT"...
My heart skips a beat as I read the next messages and missed calls. They are from Raven.
-THEY INFORMED HIM?! OH NO! IF I TELL HIM ABOUT BLAKE, HE IS GOING TO- ... WHY DO I EVEN WORRY ABOUT HIS THOUGHTS?! WHY DOES HE FORBID ME HANGING AROUND WITH BLAKE?! IS HE PERHAPS HIDING SOMETHING?!...Oh my poor heart and mind... -
As soon as I assured Court and Crystal that I'm fine I phone Raven. He immediately picks my call.
"He-"
"Amanda?!" I can hear him breath in heavily. He must have been running.
"Yeah..."
He lets out a big sigh. "Where were you?!..." -Huh? Well, I was...What should I say?- He continues asking, before I can answer. "Why didn't you answer your phone?! Amanda, do you know how fucking worried I was?!"
I'm confused, frustrated and yet happy that he answered my call right away. -He sounds like my dad!- "Raven. I was eating out."
"With whom? ...Don't tell me... Blake?!" He nearly yells.
("You don't know the cruel things he has done..." Blakes words shoots in my head.)
-He pisses me off! Sure, it was my fault for not telling him anything, but why does he have to act like a grumpy old man?! I HAVE A LOT IN MIND RIGHT NOW! Can I even trust him?!-
"Why do you care? It's none of your business!" I hiss back.
He groans through the phone. "You are making this my business!"
"How?! Raven! You're being... I don't know! Pathetic!" I hastily regret yelling that directly at him. -Why do I always mess it up!?-
He stays silent for a minute. "Yes, I am pathetic. So, what?... Because of you, I can't think right! I have this ugly feelings, I can't even describe! I've been dead sick about yo-"
-Why is he so complicated!? What is wrong with him? 'Because of me', huh?-
I cut him off and yell louder. "So, you balme me for all of this?! Stop worrying about me! You need to relax! You aren't thinking straight!"
-My head is about to explode! There are so many things I want to yell out.-
Again, silence. "Relax?" I can hear a small sarcastic laughter. "I can never relax, because of you." -Is he trying to provoke me?!-
-'Because of me?!' Gahhh!...- I hang up and grab my pillow. I scream into it, until my voice cracks. Thankfully, I'm alone at home. -He's driving me crazy!-
My phone buzzes for the 5th time. I
finally calmed down. -It's from Raven.-
●●●
Raven: I don't want to fight with you.
Raven: I didn't want to yell at you. Forgive me.
Raven: I overreacted. I'm sorry.
Raven: Amanda?
Raven: Please write back.
I glare into my phone and face palm myself. Honestly, I overreacted too but it's his fault for bringing the worst out of me! -Geez...-
Me: I'm sorry... want to hang out for a while?
After 2 minutes he replies.
Raven: Yeah.
I wrote him my home address. -Why? Because I'm lazy to go out and I owe him a proper apology.-
It's already been 30 minutes. -What takes him so long?-
Me: Where are you?
Raven: Take a look outside your window.
-WHAT!? FOR HOW LONG!?....Seriously...-
I hastily take a look outside and see him leaning on his car. I spy on him a little, since I haven't met him for a long time. He is wearing a red long sleeved button-up shirt matching black jeans. Even his messy black hair is pushed back and is wearing black plain 'Converse'.
-He looks breath taking... OH NO! I CAN'T BELIEVE I'M THINKING THIS WAY!!! STOP, STOP STOP IT!-
I noticed that I've heated up and quickly slap my cheeks. -I do that whenever I'm heating up.-
I take deep breaths in before opening my eyes. -Good! I think I'm fine now!-
My heart stops pounding for a moment, making me gasp. His eyes meet mine and greets me with a warm smile.
