Serai
I was snuggled up with Kaden watching a movie in the family room when he started talking, interrupting my damn movie. He knows I hate it when he does that but does he cares nope, ugh...
"Sweetie?"
"Hmm?"
"How would you feel about meeting my family?"
"That'll be ni-- wait, wh-what?"
I sooo did not expect this.
"Meeting my family, how 'bout it?"
"B-B-But why?" I whined softly.
"Because I love you, plus it's been seven months. I think it's time don't you?"
"What if they hate me?"
"They won't."
"But what if they do?" I know I'm being a wuss, but honestly I don't give a fuck this was his parents and-- hold up! He said family, holy crap not parents as in two people but more than, okay is it me or is it getting hot in here?
Standing up I lift my hair up and started fanning myself a little. "Whoo the heat. Are you hot too, I need a glass of water."
"Heat? Really Serai, I ask you to meet my family and you go into a heat stroke."
"It's summer you know?"
"Yeah and you live in an air conditioned house."
"You sure that's even on?"
"Serai... if you don't-"
"How many?"
"How many what?"
"Family members."
"Four."
At least I can still count them all on one hand so that's a plus.
"Listen you don't have to do anything you're not comfortable with."
"No! I want to."
"You sure?"
"Yeah, I'm sure just nervous."
"I can tell, don't worry you'll be fine."
"I sure hope so, okay so when would we do this.?"
"How 'bout tonight?" I just looked up at him.
What! So soon, damn! Can't even give me a day or two to work on my nerves. If I wasn't so nervous as is I'd so kick you. Just breath Serai just breath.
"So soon.. what time should I be ready?" I wishpered.
"How 'bout six?"
"Okay..."
Lord please if you get me through this I promise I'll stop drinking pleaseee.

An hour after the movie he left, but not before kissing me on the lips and reminding me he'll be back at wrist slitting six! like damn I know! It's now 4:30, I know you wondering why ain't you getting ready to meet your man's family and well I'm waiting on Tamia.
She's the perfect image of a good girl, the girl don't even curse, well kinda. I guess I can take some blame for that one my behaviour might have rubbed off a little bit on her.
Bad Serai bad, bad, bad Serai!
I could've asked Amy, but in my book Amy's just too perfect. If I didn't know her I'd sooo think she was a Ms. Know- it-all. The girl probably have me in a fully covered dress drinking tea with my pinky up, and I hate tea so nuh-uh I'll stick with Tamia; plus if this goes horribly wrong at least I know where Tamia rests her head at.
Hearing a car pull up I stopped my rant and ran downstairs to the front door, grabbing the door handle the same time the other person did expect I yanked it.
"Oh Oomf!" And in fell Tamia

"Are you okay?" I asked, her as I helped her up.
"What the hell Serai! What you do that for?!"
"I'm sorry! It was an accident, by the way you shouldn't say hell, heck is a much better word to use."
Dusting off her jeans she looks up at me puzzled, "What are you talking about?"
"I'm just saying cursing isn't a good thing to be doing."
"Again I say what are you talking about? Did you hit your head or something?" she asked examining my head. Slapping her hand away I said, "Yes, I'm fine. But um I need a little favor."
"What kind of favor?"
"Wellll, okay-so-Kaden asked me to meet his family tonight and honestly I'm so nervous I don't even wanna go, but he was looking at me with them cute light brown eyes and them long eyelashes, he even had the pout. I couldn't say no," I said speaking a mile a minute.
Slowing it down a notch I said, "But girllll the look he was giving me made me wanna dry hump his fine ass, I swear on the key and lock that's called my virginity."
"Serai!"
"What! It's not like I'm planning to get my cherry popped, shi-shoot I'm probably the only virgin in this house, so don't Serai! me."
"Ughh, you still haven't told me the favor."
"Fav--Oh right! I want you to innocent me up."
"Seriously?"
"Yes and fast we only got an hour."
"Mhmm I can work with that, come on."
Running upstairs, we went to my room and headed straight for the closet. "Whatever you do just don't have me looking like some old grandma."
"Gotcha. Wait where's Kevin?" Oh so now is when she realize his ass ain't here.
"I don't know, nor do I care at the moment now come on chop chop!" she frowns for a second, before she started throwing my clothes out the closet one by one.
"Hey, I hope you know you cleaning all this up," I shouted, but Tammy was on a roll. I just sat back on the bed while watching the clock cause I'll be damned if I'm late for any reason tonight.

An Hour Or So Later...
"There, perfect," Tamia says softly, looking down at me
"Well I wouldn't know since my back turned to the mirror."
"Then turn around smart ass," I looked at her with a frown and twisted my lips in hopes of keeping them shut. After all she did just help me and it wouldn't look too good if I cursed her ass-- I mean butt out, don't judge me Rome wasn't built in a day ya know.
Turning around, I was surprised at what I saw. I was wearing a light green, fine strapped dress that stopped at my knee. My hair was left in my natural curls, with a small sparkly bow left at the side, and for footwear I was wearing tan sandals, while my face had hardly any makeup on; just foundation, mascara and lip gloss; but what surprised me was when you put everything together, I looked good! Damn good at that and here I thought I was gonna end up looking boring and dull and nowhere near myself and Tammy made me look amazing.
"Oh my gosh! Girlll you got the magic touch, cause I look cute and sexy rolled up into one."
"I'll take that as a thank you," she laughed.
KNOCK! KNOCK! KNOCK!
"That ought to be him, oh on time," she grinned, taking a quick look at her watch.
"Oh my God, I'm meeting his family Tamia I can't breathe." She grabbed me by my shoulders and said, "Calm down look at me." "Looking up at her she then says, "Now follow me and take a deep breath (in) and (out), again."
Getting my breathing under control I snapped, "What if they hate me!"
"Aww Serai, who could ever hate you? It sure ain't Kaden you're crazy yet he's the one who want to be with you anyway. Regardless of how they might feel about you he ain't going anywhere."
"I pray to God you're right."
"Now buck up, I'll get the door."
"Okay, thanks," I said softly.
She smiles, "Anytime."
As she rushed out the room I turned back to the mirror taking a deep breath. "Okay Serai, you got an amazing guy downstairs waiting on you, now relax you can do this," I whispered to myself, and with that I head downstairs.
Following the voices, I enter the family room to find Tamia sitting on the arm rest still in her work clothes and Kaden standing with his hands in his pockets talking. Stepping into the room he looks up at me and smile and immediately the zoo that I call my nerves calmed down. Walking over to him, I pulled him down by his neck and kissed him.
I can sooo do this.
"Hi."
"Hey""
"Aww you guys are so cutee!"
"You ready?" Kaden said, while laughing.
"Yeah." Walking around me, Kaden heads for the door as Tamia stands and whispers to me.
"Okay this is it, I know you're still a little nervous but just remember you'll have Kaden there to help you through it."
"How are you so sure?"
"I was once in the position you're in remember? Just like you I had a hunk of a man there right by, so relax and be yourself. Once you do that they'll end up falling for you just like Kaden, now go."
Giving her a quick hug I said, "Thank you, Tammy."
"You're welcome Serai, and good luck."
Grabbing my purse, I rushed over to Kaden and grabbed his hand and together we left.
Chapter 8
Tamia
I'm home alone. For the first time while living in this house I am home ALONE! Only question now is what to do? Hmm, locking the front door with the chain, I went to the kitchen. Stopping at the door I unbutton and dropped my jeans. What? My legs need air too so hush. Leaving me in my uniform shirt and granny panties uh huh that's right, don't hate, my baby still love all of this regardless.
Grabbing a bottle of water, I take a sip while pulling up my phone. I strolled through my playlist 'til I found one of my all-time favorites.

Hooking the phone up to the speakers I blast the song and began moving around the room, rocking my hips to the song.

Gripping the water bottle, I began using it as a mic as I continued dancing half naked, moving from the kitchen to the family room.

Slowly walking back to the stairs, I started jumping up and down when the bridge/ beat picked up. Going up the stairs I did a little bend onto the railing just a little one, ain't nobody trying to get hurt up in here. Reaching our room I removed my work shirt, leaving on only my bra and panties standing in front of our full length mirror. I looked at myself for a minute before mouthing the last few words of the song smiling.

I turned and basically skipped into the bathroom to take a shower, happy for my little alone time.
Serai
"Hey you okay?" Looking up at Kaden, I smiled and nodded. Opening his door he got out then came around my side to help me out.
"It's gonna be okay, they're gonna love you," and again all I did was nod; I was that nervous.
Just get me through this night God; just get me through this night.
Walking up the front steps towards the door I glanced around, the house was a white and navy blue two story built house. The garden is amazingly beautiful. Separated into two by the concrete steps there were all of different type of flowers; lilies were one side as well as roses. I guess his mom was into gardening.
Opening the front door he let me in before yelling, "Ma! We're here!" Like really, he couldn't gimme a few more seconds-- at least!
No sooner as the words left his mouth two little girls came running from around the corner, taking a closer look I quickly realize they were twins.
"Kaddy! Kaddy!" they both shouted, jumping into his arms the moment he bends.
"Kaddy?" I couldn't help but smile.
"They're three it's the best they can do at the moment okay."
Putting my hands up as a peace offering, I quickly bit my lip to stop me from smiling.
"You're pretty."
Smiling down at the toddler I kneeled beside Kaden before saying, "Thank you, so are you, I'm Serai what's your name?"
"I'm Mar!"
"And I'm Melly!"
"Oh,-"
Kaden taps me on my shoulder and whispers, "Maria and Melinda."
Maria and Melinda were identical twins except for one thing, their eyes. Maria has dark brown eyes while Melinda has hazel, but both are super energetic.
"Ooh, well it's nice to meet you both."
"You too!"
Both giggling, they each take my hands and say, "Come on mommy's in kitchen waiting on you."
"Okay." Leaving Kaden in our dusk --well not really, while pulling me all the way there they kept saying song-like, "Kaddy got a girlfend, Kaddy got a girlfend." I could help but think how cute they are!
Stopping at a dark wooden door, Melinda let go of my hand and shoved it with all her might -- again I say so cutee!--.
"Mommy! She here!" she yelled.
"And she pretty!" Maria yelled after her. I couldn't help but smile down at them before looking up in the eyes of Kaden's mom.
Stroking her daughter's cheek she says, "I think you're right baby she's really pretty." Wiping her hands down in her apron she holds out her hand towards me.
"Hi I'm Ava."
"Hi, I'm Serai."
"Oh I know we've heard a lot about you, right girls?"
"Right!" they both answered.
"Ah ma!" Looking over my shoulder, I giggled at the look at Kaden's face.
"Well we have. Dinner is almost finished. Why don't you all go watch TV or something 'til it is."
"Okay, come on Serai."
"Yeah! Come on Sea!"
"Did she just-"
"Yes she did, get used to it."
"Whatever it still beats Kaddy if you ask me."
"Well I didn't."
"Yet I gave you my option anyway, isn't that just like me."
"Yeahh, move it dork."
"I'm no dork, remember I'm pretty." Laughing out loud the M's-- ooh nickname alert! "M&M." Am I good or what? Yeahh I took it there. Anyway Maria and Melinda both looked at us strangely, but quickly forgot about us once the TV was turned to Disney channel, and honestly if Liv & Maggie wasn't on I would sooo be focused on Kaddy, I mean Kaden. Don't look at me like that, ya'll knew what I meant before I even corrected myself so suck it.
But I just love that show right after Jessie. I just love that Suri; don't blame me I'm just a big kid at heart.
As we all watched the show, I hear the front door open and in walked a girl around my age; the funny thing is though I kinda felt like I knew her from somewhere. Quickly glancing at us she took off for the stairs.
"Alliana, can you come here a sec," Kaden shouted out to her.
Stopping in her tracks, I could've sworn I heard this girl suck her teeth!
God take the wheel don't let me crack now, or I might take that wheel and run her ass over.
Okay, so I slipped a little but only in my mind.
"Yeah," she said as she walked in.
"Alli!!" the twins yelled, and jumped down from the couch to rush their older sister.
Her stinky attitude quickly changed around them. "Hey guys!"
"We miss you."
"Aw well I missed you."
"Really how much?"
"This much," holding her arms apart as wide as it could go, the girls giggled.
"Hey why don't you two go wash your hands for me okay? Gotta be clean for dinner."
"Okay!" they both said, taking off together.
And just like that her shi-- stinky attitude was back.
"Yeah?"
"Allianna, this is Serai my girlfriend, Serai this is Allianna, my sister."
Being as polite as ever...yeah right, I reach out my hand and said, "Hi it's nice to meet you." I even finished it with a smile, but then this bi--girlll opened her mouth and said
"And..."
Like bitch, let me give you, your "and," you Sheneneh-looking bitch.
Well looky there I slipped again...
I guess Kaden felt it, because he held onto my arm tight like I was gonna jump the girl or something.
Leaning into him I stuttered, "Did she just-- I know she didn't just-- Kaden."
"Alli, what's wrong with you?" he snapped.
"Nothing, I just don't like the bitch."
"The bi-- she just call me a-" leaning closer to her since the pretty boy refuses to let me go I said, "Be glad I was raised with some respect or I would knock out your two front teeth in, you transvestite looking bitch."
"Enough! Now we promised ma we would all sit down to her home cooked meal and that's exactly what we gonna do.Got it?"
Neither of us said anything
"Good. Now move!"
"Ahh hell nah!"
"I mean Allianna babe not-"
"Oh for a second there I thought you lost yo' God-given mind."
When we walked into the kitchen, the twins were already seated while Kaden's mom, Ms. Ava began plating the food.
"Oh there you all are. Come on have a seat dinner is served."

OH! I FINALLY SAW THE FAULT IN OUR STARS MOVIE AND I JUST KNEW FROM THE COMMERCIAL I WAS GONNA CRY BUT I LOVED IT
WHEN SHE GOT THE CALL BOUT YOU KNOW WHAT I WAS CRY/ BAWLING JUST THE WAY SHE WAS I WAS HURT AT THE MOMENT BUT AWESOME MOVIE
