I don't hate Carly. I might give off that impression, but I don't hate her. Her mom is a dancer, a hell of a good one she studied at Julliard made her way to broadway and married Micheal Becks. One of the most notorious choreographers. It's in her blood. She was literally born to dance. The pressure was on.  Parental pressure to be the best. Not the second best, but THE best. The greatest and nothing less. Yet, less is all Carly ever got. Its not her fault. She works hard. To hard even. Night and day. Day and night to the point where her work isn't motivated by dance. She dances with aggression , and anger. Instead of grace and elegance. As if she's dancing in fire and not dancing with fire.

" Again." Mrs.Lets instructed not pleased with Carly.

The girls and I sat on the side stretching watching the melt down as it happens.

" She's exhausted." Bee  said as she stretched.

" I guess being a bitch drains you." Nani chuckled, I was tempted to smirk." She over works on the wrong things and under works on the things she needs. Her technique is perfect. Far better than mine." I admit while stretching my legs.

" Than what is she doing so wrong?" Nani asked.

" She lacks character." I state.

" Stop just Stop." Mrs. Leta  says rubbing her temples in frustration. " This is about death Carly. Death can you understand that you must feel. Show me grief pain sorrow."

" I'm trying." Carly pleaded.

" I can't watch this." Bee mumbled before heading out to get a drink of waters

" We have less than a week. Try harder!"Carly tried and tried she danced hard kicked and twirled with force. The intense music speeding up her red hair spinning as she did like wild fire her every step was with a purpose, but the wrong one. She danced as if she was in competition with the music. Who can be the loudest the fiercest. The music was suppose to be her partner.

" Lighter." I called out. " Dance lighter your technique is great you just need to feel-"

" I'm sorry did I remember asking the towns whore for her opinion? The only thing you could possibly teach me is how to pose  nude-." She exclaimed before I cut her words off.

Oh hell no. The class all went in a state of ah surprised she mentioned the mentionable. My jaw clenched and I wanted nothing more than to bash her face in.

I jumped off the floor pissed as ever. .

" Out at of you!" I commanded. The rest of the girls scattered out leaving us in the room alone. Mrs.Leta watched in observation.

.

" Who the hell do you think you are stopping my routine-"

"  I'm the girl who could take this Goddamn solo without hesitation." I challenge. We where neck and neck. Her eye just as blazing as her hair.

" But I won't." I could have sworn she sighed in relief.

" Do you want to know why I'm so good Carly." I asked standing in 3rd position. " Because I have no competition." With a simple nod Nani played the record and I began dancing the exact same solo as Carly. One I haven't even been trained to do. One I only learned in the matter of an hour from watching her do it constantly. The music ran through my veins as if we where a team the rhythm pulsing in my body making the thumping of my very own heart beat.

I was literally spinning circles around her.

" You're  a cruel." Pirouette

"Conniving." Fouetté " Bitch"

I instantly stopped stopped with controlling even if after all those spins I remained my balance and stood in front of her.

" And maybe if you had some heart you could beat me." I smirk. " No pun intended."

She clenched her fist wanting nothing more than to prove me wrong. " You're angry?"" I asked I stepped closer only inches away eye to eye with the devil her self . The air was thick the girls where picking through the windows wanting a glimpse of the action going on inside. "Shame I wanted you to cry." I trailed my finger over her cheek and made s pouty face. She swatted my hand away and followed her arms across her chests

" Be sad Carly. Even if you can't dance with your heart. You can dance to the rhythm of your fallen tear drops." I whisper lightly.

" Because your a sad bitter bitch, and right now music is your only friend. Yet, still you're  reckless and brutal butchering it mercilessly as if you could afforded to lose another note."

" But say that shit again, I'll for from being the towns whore. To the county jail for dragging a bitch."

It was silent utter silent as she sat under my instead gaze trying to challenge me by not breaking eye contact. Until she couldn't take it anymore. She rolled her eyes and turned away acting as if she was over it.

" How poetic." Carly sarcastic spoke.

Later on the girls and I decided to go for a trip to the shops. Bee was being unusual silent  even when we where getting are nails done. Something was off. I just couldn't put my finger on it. Nani was chatty as ever talking about her latest diet.

" I'm telling you if we all go on a juicer we will be so toned for spring break!" She exclaimed.

" Yay." Bee replied with sarcasm.

" Oh come on! It's going to be a blast. I already have it planned out. This year we'll go to Kin's lake house-

" Woah why me?" I questioned. Not wanting to host.

" Because it's tradition. You're the richest out of all of us. So we go to one of your many homes. Like last year, the skiing retreat was awesome." She cheered

" But this year we'll be different because we'll have boyfriends."

" We said that last year." Bee grumbled while looking at her  freshly painted nails.

" And I'm saying it again." She said just as we approached a water fountain. She dug in her purse pulling out... a button?

" Really?" I asked. In disbelief that she didn't have a single coin in her purse.

"Oh Come! No one carries cash anymore." She helped the button in both hands bringing it to her chest.

" Dear Fountain Goddess, I know last week I like totally threw my fries in here. But forgive me. I wish that my friends would find soulmates or bedmates, or companions. So we can go on cute couple trips and plan are wedding together." And with that she threw the sliver bottom in to the large fountain that was in the middle of the shopping square.

"Maybe you'll find someone at the Bonfire tonight." Nani said. Nani turned to us and smiled. Both Bee and I looked at her as if she had lost her rocket not believing in the stupid wish fountain. The water shot of the fountain and glisten falling perfectly and it was an admirable sight, but behind the flowing water stood every bit of irony.

"Hell no." I mumbled.

" Baby!" Nani squealed rushing to Zain and immediately performing PDA. Gross, but was even more vomit worthy was his friend standing next to them. He noticed. I knew he did, my burning gaze wishing he caught fire from it. Lucas looked at me like sad puppy dog.

" Hey Bee." He greeted with a nod of acknowledgement before giving me his focus and those sad puppy dog eyes. " Hey KP-"

" I'm leaving." I said with it explanation.

" Come on Kin." Nani called as I turned on my heels and headed into a Bookshop watching to find anything that will separate us to.

" KP." He called. Fuck he's still following me. I maneuver through the book shelf's as if there an endless maze. I was practically running from him. Why couldn't he understand it! Standard! He said, standards! He has higher standards than me. I'm "leftovers" really? I shouldn't care it's coming from Lucas fucking Lucas. But I never thought he would demean so much. I know how he see's me I get now. I just wish he would leave me the hell alone-

" Oh shit." Someone lightly cursed as I went colliding into them, books raining down around us as if it was hail storm. Maybe one of them and hit my head, maybe I was a imagining it all. Our bodies fell to the ground his arms wrapping around my waist almost as if he was trying trying to catch me. Yet, that only brought his down with me.

Maybe the book hit me to hard, or maybe I fell into the book bringing me into this fairy tail.

Jasper.

He laid underneath me in full astonishment him self. His glasses sat crooked on his face exposing those beautiful eyes. Only this time it wasn't him blushing. It was me.  Handsome, even in this state he was pure perfection. The kind of guy that would look sexy in a lab coat, the kind of guy that made a pair of glasses look like he was modeling for a Guess commercial.

" Hi." Hi? Really Kin is that all you can say!

The corner of his lips turned into a grin showing off his pearling teeth. " Hi." It was simple so deep, damn it so seductive. A simple word like Hi was enough to make my heart flutter maybe something else to.

" As great as this is Kinsley. "He chuckled, the feeling of his chest vibrating through my body."I'm not sure if this work appropriate."

" Work?"

At that moment I noticed the metal name tag which pin was probably digging in his chest because I was still on top of him. " Oh fuck." I cursed rolling off of him causing him to to groan in pain. Okay maybe that wasn't the best way to get off.

" I'm sorry about the books." I say quickly picking them off the ground stacking them up neatly. " I can help you put them back it is my fault." What am I saying! I've never had a real job a day in my life. His soft hand gazed over mine causing me to stop in motion. Tingles shooting in my body.

" I got it. " He grabbed the books placing them in a cart.

" I'm the one who works here. What can I help you with. Are you searching for a book?"

Uhhhhhhhhh.

" Yes." I lied and smile getting up from the floor.

" Must have been an intense search." He said referring to my race through the store. I looked back taking a breath of relief seeing no sigh of Lucas. I turned my attention back to him. The sexiest nerd you'll ever lay eyes on.

" Uh yeah, I'm reading now a days. Books are great." I cleared my throat and scrambled awkward

" I'm great books are great it's all great you're great I mean not you weren't never uh great it's just um ." God, I just wish he would say something to save me from this embarrassment. He stood with his  arms folded across his chest as he watched me with amusement a smirk forming across his lips he raised a single eyebrow and leaned against the shelf. This is his element his domain. A place where he doesn't have to be silent. A place where the roles are reversed and I'm the one blushing like a mad women. He was doing it against watching my lips with such intense I nearly melted.

" Do you want to go to a bonfire tonight?"I blurt out.

What?

" I get it if you say no. If it's not really your thing I mean it really isn't mine ether."

" I'll go." I was definitely not expecting that answer.
He smirked this time his cheeks growing a light shade of pink. Yet, he even blade blushing a sex symbol. " Oh wow really? I mean that's great I'll text you the details. I'm sure you have to get back to work."  He nodded. Giving me one last grin.

" It was nice seeing you Kinsley."

"Yeah you to." I replied. Tingles shooting up my body a weight lifting off my chest as he walked away.
Damn if only he knew what he does to me. My eyes wondered once I realized I was staring far to long.
Jasper Ralston a boy of few words, which made every one even more special. I leaned back against the shelf and as if it was a Mandate of Heaven a book fell out. The words across it speaking out to me.
