Okay, so, I had this idea the other, and it was originally a Maxica(JessicaxMax for whoever doesn't know) one, and I was thinking of changing it to some of the cannon and real ships from the shop, but I just can't imagine it any other way while writing it, so I decided to just keep it Maxica. Hope you don't mind.
P. S. It's gonna be super cheesy and fluffy so get ready. Also maybe a little bloody scenes which may be disgusting or just bad for some of you. Kinda dark in the begging. I warned you.
Jessica's POV
I opened my eyes and looked around. I was in a room, more like a cell. I tried moving my hands, just to realize that they were tied to a chair, as were my legs. Trying to talk, I realized I had a cloth over my mouth as well, shutting me up. It was dark around me, I couldn't see almost anything.
"Where is she!?"I heard someone yell from the hall, a familiar one by that.
"Right here! And she's gonna watch, you bastard!"an unfamiliar voice said.
I started trashing, trying to get someone's attention.
"Jessica!"the familiar voice yelled. I think they heard me. I tried to scream, just to be muffled by the cloth over my mouth.
The door opened, letting the light come in and blinding me for some seconds. Once I blinked the blindness away, I noticed a guy wearing black hood over his head, I couldn't see his face.
And then, next to him, behind held by the biceps, was a beat up and bloody Max. His lip was split and his once pearl white teeth were stained with blood, making them reddish. His right eye was closed and had a dark circle around it. He had a bleeding cut under his left eye.
I then felt the tears falling from my eyes, seeing Max like that. I trashed, trying to free myself from the chair and go to help him, but I couldn't. I was tried with roped and my water power can't help me with that.
Water! That's it! I tried using my powers, but they didn't work.
"Vegestone, my dear."the man with the black hood said, chuckling."Nice try, though."he added and threw Max on the ground, in front of my feet. I tried screaming again, to be muffled again.
Max was laying on the ground weakly. He was too beaten up, he can't fight or do anything for that matter. I had to help him somehow.
Before I can think of anything, the guy took out something from the inside of his hood. I realized it was a knife. He walked towards Max and lifted him by gripping Max's black hairs.
Max groaned, but tried to stay strong for both of us while the man put the knife on his throat.
"Any last words, Rocky boy?"the man with the hood said. Only I call him Rocky Boy.
"Jessica..."he said, looking me dead in the eye. I looked at his brow eyes, memorizing them."I love you..."he said and with that, the men cut.
I woke up screaming. I hugged my pillow and cried in it.
After a while, I realized that I was in my room and everything was a dream. No. A nightmare.
Since I'm alone at home for the weekend, nobody came to check on me, which made me feel even more scared. What if it wasn't a dream? What if the person with the hood just brought me back to pretend that nothing happened and Max is actually gone?
I looked for my phone, turning my lamp in the process and then taking the device, looking at the time. It was three in the morning, but I have to make sure. I have to make sure he's okay.
I dialed his number and put my phone next to my ear with shaky hands. I heard the first beep, but no answer. Second beep, no answer. Third beep, no-
"Jessica?"a groggy voice said from the other end of the line.
"Max..."I sighed in relief and leaned on the headboard of the bed.
"Jessie? Is everything alright?"he asked, sounding concerned.
"Everything's fine now."I told him.
"What happened? Are you okay?"he asked.
"Yeah, yeah, I'm fine. I just had a really bad nightmare."I told him.
"Really? Want me to come over?"he asked. He knows that I'm alone tonight.
I chuckled."Max, it's three in the morning."I told him.
"I don't really think that's gonna prevent me from coming."Max said.
"You don't have to come, really."I told him. I can't ask that from him."You will get in trouble."I tried to reason with him.
"I will always get into trouble if it's for you."he said and I felt the red blush creeping on my face. I'm happy he can't see me right now.
"Max, am alright-"before I can continue, Max had closed the call. I sighed and put my phone down.
Looking at the ceiling, I was thinking that I probably won't be able to fall asleep again alone. I won't admit it to him, but I'm actually happy he's coming, just because of a nightmare I had. I'm a lucky girl.
Max's POV
As I was walking down the stairs, I heard a door open behind me. I turned around to see mom coming out of her and dad's room, looking at me sleepily.
"Max?"she whispered, not to wake dad and Emma."Where the hell are you going?"she asked.
"To Jessica's."I told her.
"At that time?"she asked."It's three in the morning!"
"I know, mom,"I told her."But she had a nightmare and is alone at home. I gotta go to check on her."I told her.
My mom gave me a small smile, walking up to me. She put her hands on my shoulders."Max, you can't believe how proud I'm from you. There are not much guys like you left at your age."mom said.
I blushed and looked down."Thanks mom."I said and hugged her. She hugged me back.
After the mother-son moment we had, she allowed me to take her car and I informed her that I will probably stay there the rest of the night, which she had nothing against. Sometimes I feel like a have a little too much freedom and that no normal parent will let their kid to leave the house at three a.m., borrowing the parent's car as well.
But then I remember that my parents are far from normal.
Jessica's POV
I sat on my bed, watching in the distance and waiting for Max to come. I couldn't take the image of him being beaten up from my head and it hurts me.
I heard the front door open, indicating that he's here. I gave him a key for emergency or when we go somewhere he comes to water the flowers.
I waited for him to come to my room. Once I heard the doorknob of my room I was on my feet and hugging him.
"Woah, Jessica,"he said and steadied himself, wrapping his arms around me."Are you okay?"he asked, running his hand through my hair.
I sniffed and nodded my head, which was on his chest."Yeah."I said.
"You sure?"he asked.
I nodded again."Now that you're here and okay."I told him.
"Okay? I was never hurt,"he said, the confusion could be heard in his voice."Was that the nightmare?"he asked.
I shook my head."I don't want to talk about it."I told him.
"Okay."he said. I closed my eyes and breathed in his scent of lemon and dirt, which suits him a lot.
I felt him taking me bridal style and walked to the bad, laying me down and then he laid next to me. I wrapped my arms around his torso and rested my head on his chest, while he kept stroking my hair gently.
And in that moment, everything was perfect. And I can never wish for a better boyfriend.
Ok I think that was kind of adorable, even though I wrote it. I wish I have a boyfriend like that. I wish I have a boyfriend in the first place.
Sadly but unsurprisingly nobody likes me so yeah, I will just keep my nonexisting love life and fanfiction and live like that. That was all people. Stay awesome!❤️😘
