***Edward's POV***
Why so sudden I feel nervous? Did something happen?
I called mom and she said everything's fine. She's with my dad. Lau was just talking to me a while ago.... May? Oh no! I haven't called her yet...
I tried calling her on skype but it seemed she's not online... I tried to call her number but she's not answering her phone...
Is she that busy? I tried thinking that she is but my heart begins to pound abnormally.
I tried calling Kyla's number but her phone is busy as well.
What's happening? Everyone is busy.
Should I call Marco? I decided not to. I know he's still angry at me.
Maybe later I can get the answer I need. Hopefully nothing happens bad to her... Maybe I'm just missing her that much and I'm overthinking.

I waited for her to call me but I haven't received one.
Another day has passed and yet I still haven't got any news. I know she's busy but can she not send me even a short message?
I'm beginning to feel bad... I've waited for several hours. Okay! She won! I really couldn't help not to call her.
Now it's out of coverage area... What the heck!
I tried calling Kyla... Hopefully she picks up..
"Cuz?"
"Eyy.. 'been trying to call you and May since yesterday. I wasn't able to reach her... what happened?"
"Ahhh. ano kasi... ahhm... okay naman na siya... ano... nahimatay lang siya kahapon... pa-punta na doon si boss..."
"What?! Wait, can you explain it clearly? Did something happen to her?"
My heart is pounding big time.
"Cuz... sorry... oo may nangyari nga kay Architect. Pumunta kasi siya sa site, wala siyang sinabihan kung saan... kahapon iyon... tapos bigla hindi na namin siya macontact.. Then hinanap namin siya buong magdamag hangang kanina. Tapos iyon.. tumawag siya sakin, ayun pinuntahan na siya ni boss..."
"What? Why didn't you tell me?"
"Eh nataranta na ako... lahat kami dito... wala pa kami lahat halos tulog."
"Where is she? Paano ko siya mako-contact?"
"Kay boss, papunta na siya doon. Yung phone niya dala-dala na rin ni boss kaya mako-contact mo na rin siya... Maybe in about 3-4 hours.."
"Three-four hours? Ganoon kalayo ang pinuntahan ni May? ng mag-isa? The heck! Ano bang ginagawa ni Marco? Bakit kailangan si May ang nagpupunta sa sites ninyo? Wala ba kayong ibang tao?"
"Cuz... Di kasalanan ni boss, okay? Si Architect ang nagpumilit na pumunta doon at hindi siya nagsabi... Gusto lang naman din tulungan ni Archtiect si boss, ang dami kasi naming projects... Walang may kasalanan, okay... Kausapin mo na lang siya maya-maya."
"Hayyz! Okay. Sige salamat."
And her phone? Ba't na kay Marco? Too many questions are filling my head.
I waited for 4 hours and it seems like forever... I tried to dial.
It's still out of coverage area!
No choice but to call Marco.
"Hello, bro!"
"Marco, can I speak with my wife, please?" He got silent for a moment.
I heard some people laughing in the background... I recognized May's voice as one of them...
Seriously? She got all the energy to laugh with other people and yet not telling me of what happened to her?
"Hello, love?" suddenly she's on the phone.
"What happened to you? Why are you not answering your phone?"
"Love, nagtsa-charge pa. Kakadala lang kasi ni Marco... Tatawagan naman talaga kita..."
"What happened? Pumunta ka raw ng project site na malayo ng nag-iisa? What are you even thinking? At hindi ka nagsasabi sa akin? Why, May? Is that hard to tell me?"
"Ah-I'm sorry.... Ayoko naman kasing nag-aalala ka.."
"So akala mo hindi ako nag-aalala nang hindi kita ma-contact? Ganoon ba, May?"
"Edward, please... let me explain... I'm sorry, okay?"
"I just feel bad, you know? Mas nauuna pa ang ibang tao na maka-alam ng whereabouts mo keysa sa asawa mo..."
"Edward... it's not that... Please.... Ahhhhhhhhhh! Araaaayyyy!!!!"
And I heard her scream. What happen?
I can hear them in the background...
"May, are you okay?"
And I couldn't hear her voice anymore.
"Sean, anong nangyayari sa kanya...?"
"Shit! Nag-i-spotting na naman siya... Pull that table over here, bilis!."
"Is she gonna be okay?"
"May? May? Can you hear me? May!"
What's happening? I'm going crazy hearing them in the background.
I ended the call and I tried calling Marco's number again.
I've dialed several times before he picked it up.
"Ano ba kasing sinabi mo?! Tatawag ka na lang mananakit ka pa!"
Marco's voice almost broke my eardrum.
"Marco, I couldn't understand. Please tell me what's happening? Marco... please... What's happening to May?"
"Yan! Diyan ka magaling! Laging sarili mo ang iniisip mo... Di mo alam kung nakakapanakit ka na ng ibang tao.."
"Marco! I'm sorry, okay! Please! Just fuckin' tell me what's happening there!"
Now I'm losing my temper, too.
"Kung nandito ka lang nasuntok na kita eh! Yung asawa mong buntis, dinudugo po. Ini-stress mo pa! Masaya ka na?"
"Wait! What?! Buntis? Si May?"
"Bakit may iba ka pa bang asawa?"
"Marco, please.... I'm begging you... I know galit ka sa akin... Set aside muna natin galit mo sa akin please? Just for May... I wanna make it clear... Totoo? Si May buntis? Bro?"
My brain didn't seem to process it immediately.
"Ayaw mo yata eh! Pwede ko namang akuin iyan."
"Marco! Please... can I talk to the doctor?"
"Saglit, inaayos pa niya si May."
"How is she?"
"Nag-pass out na naman. Nag-spotting daw... Bawal kasi siya ma-stress.. In-stress mo pa."
"Marco... please let her take a vacation.."
"Oo alam ko di mo ko kailangan sabihan. I will have her on indefinite leave."
"Thanks, bro!"
"Oh, eto na si Sean!"
"Sean? Who's Sean?"
"Hello, Edward! Bro! How are you?"
"S-ean? From Green Valley? Oh, bro! You're my wife's doctor?"
"Tindi mo rin eh! Akalain mo iyon, di ka naman pala baog? Congrats, man! 4 weeks na ang baby mo. Wag mong i-stress-in tong misis mo. Di ko nga siya nakilala nung nakita ko siyang nakahandusay sa daan. Si May pala... Laki ng ipinagbago niya.."
"What happened to her?"
"Nag-spotting siya. Papunta nga daw sa Infanta... Eh baku-bako pa daanan doon tapos siguro stress. Tapos hinimatay.... Hindi niya din alam na buntis siya... Buti hindi nawala baby nyo. Iyak nga yan paggising eh. Buti dumating na si Marco..."
"Thank you so much, bro! Ang hirap ng malayo... I'm going crazy thinking of what's happening there..."
"Wag ka masyadong mag-iisip. Ang bait nga ng asawa mo. Yeah, I know naman since high school sobrang bait talaga ni May... She and your baby is fine. Yaan mo, imo-monitor ko para saiyo."
"Sean, tandaan mo lang na asawa ko iyan ha? She's taken... I know crush mo iyan noong high school... But please... she's mine now, okay?"
"Aray naman! Hahhaha! Am I a threat, bro? Just kidding! Don't worry, I'll make sure they're both safe."
"Thanks, bro! I'll call later when she's awake. Bye. Tell Marco my thanks, too. Take care both of you! Hope we can bond like the old times. Pag-uwi ko promise..."
"Oo na. may dalawa ng ninong 'tong baby mo... Swerte niya lahat bachelors."
"Magsipag-asawa na kasi kayo!"
"Naunahan mo lang kami..."
I know exactly what he means.
"The heck! I'll kill you! Don't ever dare! Sige na... again thank you.."
I just couldn't contain my happiness! We're having a baby! I'm a daddy now! Wooowwooohh!
I hope I can go home soon... I wanted to be with my wife...
I'll try to talk to Dr Strauss tomorrow. Maybe we can arrange something else.
