"The kids.. they made me realize my reality.. I'm 38, two wonderful kids, an amazing ex wife that happens to be my best friend.. but I need someone to cuddle with... someone to hold me and me to hold her... I just can't be childish anymore.. I've grown up."
"Rurik... I will marry you!"
He places the finger on her finger, tears of happiness streaming from both of there eye sockets.
(Two years later:)
Cupcake was asleep on the sofa with Rurik. Their kids upstairs asleep too. The only one awake was Rurik.
He smiled down at his beautiful wife on his chest. He finally.. after years of trying... felt complete.
