As soon as we got the moonstone Elena and I went home.
Walking into our house, Alaric was setting the table, quietly asking if everything was okay.
Elena signaled yes and we walked into the kitchen.
"Hi Aunt Jenna, hey Alaric," Elena said grabbing plates.
"Hey, Jennas on the phone." Alaric whispered.
"With who?" I asked.
He shrugged his shoulders and continued setting the table.
"Here," Elena said handing me the plates.
Smiling I took them and started placing them on the counter.
"Everything go okay today?" Alaric questioned.
I nodded, "There were a few hiccups, but yeah."
Walking to the cabinet I grabbed silverwear.
"Of course I understand." Jenna said, handing the phone to Elena.
"Who is it?" I whispered to Elena.
"I don't know," she whispered back taking the phone.
As soon as the other person on the line spoke, Elenas eyes darted at Alaric and I.
'what' I mouthed to her, she ignored me by walking away with the phone.
I shrugged it off setting silverwear onto the counter.
"Jenna!" Elena screamed.
My eyes darted towards Jenna who had a knive aimed at her stomach.
I gasped as the knife struck into her abdomen.
"Oh my god!" I screamed as we ran toward her.
Alaric held her up as Elena helped pressure the wound.
"I am calling 911!" I screamed, getting to my feet running toward the phone.
Picking the phone up I dialed '911'.
My hands were shaking and the phone almost dropped.
"911, what's your immergency?"
Taking heavy breathes I answered, "My aunt, she- she accidently sta-stabbed herself!"
"Sh, calm down mam, we will be there soon." She cooed into the phone.
I nodded hanging up, "They are coming," I said as I began to cry.
"Who-who was on the phone!" I asked Elena.
She glanced up at me, "Katherine."
A quiet whimper erupted from my throat as I rubbed my head.
"Thi- this is all my fault!" I screamed dropping to the floor.
As I buried my face with my hands, I heard a knock.
The door was opened and tons of medics came running in.
I rose my head, still on the ground and watched as Jenna was put on a strecher and rolled away.
"Mam, do you want to drive in the ambulance?" A man asked.
Looking up, the man had a concerned look.
I shook my head, "I'll, I'll um drive."
He put his arm out, offering a hand.
Taking it, I stood up. My legs trembled and I felt I was going to fall but the man put an arm on my waist.
"C'mon, I'll help ya," he said walking me to my car.
As we walked I saw Elena waiting next to my car.
"Alaric went with her," she said opening the passenger door.
I mumbled a thank you to the man, and got into the drivers seat.

Elena and I ran through the Hospital parking lot until reaching the front entrance.
"How is she?" Elena asked as we approached Alaric and Jeremy.
"She barely made it, she will be okay." Jeremy said getting up from his seat.
I sighed of relief, "Why is she doing this?" Jeremy asked.
"Because shes trying to send a message..." I mumbled.
"And she can get to anybody," Elena added, tearing up.
"Come here," Jer signaled putting us into an embrace.
"She will pay, I don't know how, but she will." Jer concluded tightening his grip.

"Want me to drive you to Stefans?" I asked as we walked to my car.
Elena nodded her head, "I need to break up with him."
"Same with Damon," I replied jumping into the car.
I knew this was gonna happen, the dream- it was like a terrible sign.
"I had a dream-" I started, as I began to drive.
Elena furrowed her eyebrows, "About...?"
Taking a breath I answered, "That Jenna was going to get hurt, but not with a knife, Katherine bit her."
Remaining quiet for a few seconds, Elena responded, "Stefan told me that you had a nightmare."
I nodded slowly pulling into the Salvatores.
"Here we go," Elena said as we got out of the car.
"You texted him about Jenna right?"
She nodded, "Yeah and Damon."
We entered, and Elena went towards Stefan while I looked for Damon.
"Hey..."
Turning on my heels, I was face to face with him.
I slightly smiled as I began to walk towards him.
"I'm sorry, I- I manipulated her."
My eyes began to water, "No, Damon, it's fine."
He walked up to me holding my face, "Don't cry baby, I hate when you cry."
Rubbing my eyes, I took his hands away, "She won."
Damon gave a confused look, "What do you mean?"
I looked to the ground, losing eye contact, "We can't be together."
"What? No, no Kenz." he said instantly.
I nodded walking to him, hugging him.
"Please don't leave me."
Letting out a cry I pulled away, "I'm sorry." I said placing my lips to his.
It was soft and gentle, a goodbye kiss.
Even though I don't think this was goodbye, I still needed that closure.
Damon moved a strand of hair away, "I- I love you."
I traced my thumb against his lips, "I am s-sorry." I concluded turning around.
I walked towards the door, leaving him standing there, and I saw Elena waiting.
"Lets go," I said as she opened the door.
I didn't say it back, those 3 words that change everything.
With love, you should go ahead and take the risk of getting hurt because love is an amazing feeling.
But I didn't say it, because if I did love, it wouldn't be taking the risk of me getting hurt, but of my family.
I did take a risk and maybe I did love Damon, but Jenna was hurt because of Elena and I's actions and I will not let it happen again.
"You gonna drive?" Elena muttered, leaning her head against the window.
"Ye-yeah." I answered starting the car.
