I couldn't believe the shit I was seeing right in front of me, I mean I had a lil suspicion but I didn't ever think Cat would do me like this, in a way I feel like I deserve it for all the shit I did back in the day but at the same time it's like damn this how she felt when it went down on my end?
I didn't actually leave I drove around the corner and parked two houses down and just as I had turned off my car I saw a Jeep pull up and a few minutes later Cat walked out of the house and went inside the car, at first they were just talking but when she crawled around the damn car I lost my shit, I got out my car and walked right up to his car and yanked the door open scaring both of them.
"Get the fuck out the car right the fuck now" I said stepping back slightly.
"B-babe, I thought you went to work"
"Yeah that's what the fuck you thought now get yo ass out" I said pulling her out the car by her arm.
"Ayo don't be pulling on her like that man"
"You shut yo ass up and get the fuck up outta here before I break ya fucking face in cause she not gone be able to save you" I slamming his door shut, I pulled Cat into the house and down into the in house studio.

"Shut up, just shut up and let me calm down because if you start talking some bullshit right now I just might fuck you up in here" I said as I sat down and pulled everything out to roll myself a blunt God knows I need it because I can't even think straight.
She stood near the door looking every where but my face and I was just trying to figure out why, and how long because this just wasn't adding up to me at all, I didn't even know that nigga or ever heard her mention anyone else coming around then on top of that she'd left our kids in the house alone to go fuck that nigga in his car at least she had the curtesy to not do it under the same roof but that didn't make me any less angry, she still been fucking this nigga for God knows how long. After I took the last pull of my blunt I put it out and sat back on the couch.
"Come here" I said patting the spot next to me, she looked at me then where my hand was and slowly made her way over and sat leaving a huge gap between us, I blew out a breath and couldn't help but chuckle. "How long you been fucking him and don't lie and say it ain't like that and that y'all just friends because friends don't kiss the way y'all was shit friends don't kiss period so tell me the truth"
"T-two months but I swear I was going to stop babe"
"Don't gimme that bullshit man Cat no you wasn't you been fucking that nigga for two whole months and want me to believe that you was gonna stop if I would've never came when I did you'd be fucking that nigga right in the fucking drivers seat Cathandra!" I yelled making her jump.

"It's not like that Aug I swear it wasn't I never planned to sleep with Tyrell, it just happened, we were drifting apart we never had time for one another and when we were around each other we were both too tired to keep our eyes open or even hold a proper conversation that's when I met Tyrell and at first we really were just friends we weren't even thinking about sex but we got drunk one day and had sex"
"That's still no excuse Cat, you could've talked to me and told me how you felt man, and then you lie to me this morning when I asked like I didn't already have my suspicions you think I don't know you was doing something behind my back? I just didn't know what it was because I didn't have proof, I admit shit been a lil spotty and hectic but we grown with four fucking kids man, we both work we not gonna be having free time all the time Cat and it seems like you don't get that you on some kid shit right now. We fucking MARRIED!! That fucking ring on your finger is there for a reason! It means I loved you enough to bind myself to you for the rest of our lives and you just tossed all of that shit out the window" I said getting up.
I could see the panicked look on her face instantly but I just shook my head and walked to the door, before I could even touch the handle she threw herself at the door blocking me.
"Baby please don't do this" she said softly, just hearing her voice crack made me kind of not wanna do what I was planning to do.
"Move" I said plainly.
"August please!"
"Cat move man" I said gently moving her away from the door. "I ain't leaving the house I just need my own space to think, Ima talk to you tomorrow after I drop the kids off at school" I kissed her forehead and walked out the room, before the door even closed I heard her break out sobbing it was taking everything in me not to go back in there and hold her and tell her everything is gonna be fine but I knew it was gonna be far from fine because I don't know if I could continue to be in the same house with her right now like I just needed to get out, I went to one of the guest rooms and went to lay down in the bed pulling the covers up over my head and went to sleep.

I woke up the next morning still not feeling any different than when I went to sleep and I just knew I was gonna probably gonna be saying some fucked up shit this morning if Cat ain't pick her words wisely with me an as much as I didn't want to I knew I was gonna have to end up getting a spot and staying there for a while just until everything calmed down a bit between us. I pulled myself from the bed and went to brush my teeth, I went into the room and grabbed a pair of sweats and a random shirt and a jean jacket and got in the shower. Once I finished cleaning up I got out the shower and found Cat in the room, her back waas turned to me and I could tell she had headphones on because I could hear the music from where I was standing, I picked up my clothes off the bed and walked out the room going back to the guest room I slept in.
"Daddyyy!" Zoey sung walking into the room.
"Wassup princess?" I asked picking her up.
"Mommy's acting weird" she said frowning.
"Yeah?"
"Yeah"
"I'll go talk to her but are your brother and sister ready?"
"Mhm their downstairs AJ is trying to get cereal from the fridge"
"Come one let's go down there and help him how bout that" I said walking out the room with her still in my arms.
"I don't know daddy it's funny watching him struggle" she said laughing, I couldn't help but chuckle she was definitely my kid at heart.
"Man you know your brother be extra" I said walking into the kitchen, Cat was feeding Eli while Nayla and AJ were eating their cereal. "Go eat mama and make sure y'all bags is at that door we leave in 10 minutes I said going into the fridge and grabbing a bottle of water and then grabbed an apple.
"Yes sir" I nodded and grabbed an apple off the table and sat down next to Nayla and ate silently, after I was done I got rid of my trash and went upstairs to put on my shoes.

I was walking on pins and needles right now August wasn't even acknowledging my presence but I had no one but myself to blame if I would've just brought the situation to his attention we wouldn't be here, he was right I was being childish, I ran from the problem and into a complete strangers arms I wouldn't be surprised if he wanted to get divorced or something cause I sure did file for divorce when he messed up a few years ago. I felt like complete shit, I'd texted Tyrell last night and cut him off after which I put his number on the block list.
After the kids were finished I gave them their lunches and kissed each of them on the cheek just as August walked into the kitchen.
"Alright y'all come on and let's go" he said picking up his keys.
"Bye mommy" they semi yelled hugging me even down to little Elijah who could barely walk properly.
"Bye babies be good for your teachers okay?" I said hugging all of them back just as tightly, I let them go and they ran out the kitchen and August scooped Elijah and started walking out.
"I'll be back" he said dryly before completely leaving.
I cleaned up the kitchen then went upstairs and took a semi long shower then got out and pulled on a pair of leggings and an oversized sweater I had and slid my feet in my Fenty slides I brushed through my hair and put it up in a bun wrapping it around itself completely I might chop my hair again because it was right back down to my butt and as usual it was to much to handle on my own, I grabbed my phone and the notepad I wrote lyrics in along with my headphones and went into the studio and sat in one of the spinning chairs I turned on some Monica and just started writing whatever came to mind down on the notepad
I don't know how long I was in my zone singing along with my lyrics but I was now hungry I turned around and met eyes with August and damn near jumped out my skin, I settled my breathing and looked up at him but I avoided looking at his eyes, I know I hurt him because I felt exactly how he feels right now when he messed around on me.
"Look at me" he said leaning foreward resting his elbows on his knees, I met his eyes and I saw all the anger and hurt in them even though his face was blank.

"I don't really care anymore Cat, I love yo ass so much but this probably the one thing I never expected from you, entertaining a nigga to where you end up giving yourself to him in a way only I'm supposed to have you... you know what that shit feels like?"
"I know that has to be rhetorical because I definitely do in case your forgetting what happened and how twisted our marriage was a few years ago?"
"Don't start growing balls now, what was the purpose of fucking him?" he asked turning his hat around.
"I told you already"
"No you didn't you handed me a bullshit ass explanation that didn't make no fucking sense, but from what I'm hearing right now you fucked the nigga to get back at me for that shit"
"No I didn't! I needed a friend and he was there for me!" I semi-yelled.
"BULLSHIT! So what you out here fucking your friends Cat?! Man miss me with that shit" he yelled getting up.
"He made me feel good! Is that what you want to hear?? I felt like I was in a never ending cycle of the same fucking routine, I never expected to sleep with him but I did I couldn't get out because he made me feel different but I'm sorry August okay, I'm sorry I cheated because God knows that wasn't my intentions to step out on you but it happened and there's no way to take it back" I said stepping in front of him.
"You right, I'ma go pack some shit cause I don't think I can stay under the same roof with you until I get over this shit right here" he said without looking at me.
"What?" I said in disbelief.
"I didn't stutter now excuse me" he said about to brush by me, I grabbed his arm making him turn around and threw my arms around him tightly, for a few seconds he didn't react but then he started to unwrap my arms from him and stepped back. "Bye Cat" and with that he was gone.
For the second time within fourty-eight hours I found myself breaking down over him, I might have just really ruined my marriage.
