Guys....
I GOT A UKULELE!!!!!!!!!!! AHhh!!!
I've been saving up for one since January, and I finally got a tenor Makala today. It's really pretty.
I have yet to name it. I'm learning The Judge and Can't Help Falling in Love right now and I can also fingerpick some of Car Radio. I should probably stop because my fretboard fingers feel like they're going to bleed. Lol, oops.
Anyways, about band. Our concert is April 24 and we'll have to play Pomp and Circumstance at graduation (please kill me because we're gonna have to play that annoying song on a loop.).
The songs we're playing for our concert are:
Air for Band
Pirates of the Caribbean
Song of Hope
Epic Venture
Moscow 1941
I like all of them, but my favorites are either Moscow 1941 or Pirates of the Caribbean.
So...yeah, Band hasn't been all that eventful. We did some fundraisers for instrument rental fees and plan to do another one to raise for a trip to Silver Dollar City at the end of the year. Fun.
