#Filthyness ahead, just like three or four sentences though.i dont really know what to label it#

Several days had passed and they still hadn't gotten the Mythril that Cindy needed, since Gladio wasn't around, Kiara kept getting distracted by different missions and shops they had passed. She even convinced Ignis and Noctis to return back to the Wiz chocobo post, right now, they were finally giving into to what she wanted this time.

Back in Galdin quay, Kiara was finally getting the choice to swim, the boys weren't overly fond but Prompto found that ignorance was bliss if that ignorance meant 'ignoring how bored he is by taking pictures of Kiara in a swimsuit.'

Though the boys hadn't quite expected her to dive in from the dock, they lost sight of her for a little while as well. Honestly, they all thought it was nice to forget about all their problems, Noctis and Ignis had even learned about Kiara's past; the things she had only ever told Prompto.

Though now it was back to work as they made their way to Steycliff Grove. It had started to rain when they parked the car, having to walk the rest of the way. ''I wonder what Gladio's up to right now?'' Prompto wondered aloud as they walked.

''Meeting girls, Probably.''

''Son of a bitch.''

''What do you guys need other girls for?'' Kiara asked with a scoff, running her hand through her wet hair.  Prompto saw the opportunity and took out his camera, aiming it at her just in time for her smirk and eye roll. ''I mean, I'm here, I'm all the girl you need. Anymore girl would be too much.''

''Prompto might make it work, but quite frankly, Kiara, You're just not my type.'' Noctis jested with a laugh.

''Dude!''

Kiara and boys little banter had come to an abrupt end when they saw who was waiting for them ''Oh not this guy again.''

''Gentlemen, what a pleasant surprise.'' Adryn Izuna greeted as they approached.

''I've had better,'' Kiara remarked. ''Like that one time, I bumped into a rouge behemoth completely unprepared for it. Good times.''

''Don't stray too far lest you get left behind!'' Ardyn ignored Kiara, walking onwards towards the Grove. ''And surely, you'd rather avoid unnecessary scuffles, seeing as there are now only four of you.''

''We can still take you.'' Kiara snarled.

''Oh dear, touchy subject?''

''One we won't discuss with you,'' Ignis replied, placing a calm hand on Kiara's shoulder.

''Then let's discuss why you're here-''

Kiara cut him with a joyful laugh, so joyful it was creepy. ''Yes, See I invited the boys to have a foursome! It was originally a fivesome, but Gladio didn't seem too fond. Ignis is gonna do some kinky stuff with food, Prompto's gonna take pictures. It's gonna be a work of art.''

Noctis and Prompto were both red-faced but were also trying to hide their grins. Ardyn looked miffed that he had been interrupted and even more so as Kiara continued to speak and the best part was as Kiara finished her sarcastic explanation, she smiled and just stared at Ardyn.

Prompto lifted his camera, snapping the shot so they could show Gladio when he returned. Ardyn was unnerved, simply choosing to turn away and continue to walk as they followed him; silent as the grave.

''Thats filthy, Kiara.'' Ignis spoke lowly, pushing his glasses up the bridge of his nose but there was still a hint of a smile on his face.

''It shut him up all well and good though.'' Noctis grinned. He was right, Ardyn hardly spoke another word until he gave the all clear to go ahead. Aranea stood in front of them as they approached, according to her, their cover was an excuse that related them to that of recruits in need of special training.

They had to wait until nightfall to gain access to the building, special doors prevented themselves from opening until sundown but when they did finally enter, they found themselves in a world full of stress.

Steycliff grove was huge, and when they arrived in a large middle room, it was breathtaking. Of course, that was only because they had just finished dealing with a bunch of demons.  Demon after demon after demon after demon and it just kept going the further in they went.

Aranea helped a bit, her skill in fighting made it seem as though Gladio hadn't even left. ''You still haven't told them,'' Aranea said to Kiara as they pulled up the rear of the group, she said it quietly too, to not attract their attention.

''Nothing to tell,'' Kiara replied shortly.

''Yes, I'm sure they don't want to know that they're in the presence of the Lost Princess.'' Aranea rolled her eyes, keeping pace with Kiara. ''They deserve to know. You can't hide it forever.''

''I wasn't going to. Just until I knew more myself.''

''Not much more to know.'' The ex-mercenary shrugged. ''I knew it the moment you blasted me with that light. It felt like white-hot fire, just like the survivors of Queen Kasula's rage described her powers. Deny it all you want, Your blood is royal just like Noctis's.''

Aranea walked faster, leaving Kiara to think about her words. Kiara looked down at her left hand, seeing the two scars that dressed her palm, one across the top by her fingers - where she had grabbed the blade of a sword and the other was much older.

it went diagonally through the middle of her palm, a little blood pact with a certain hero. It was a small trivial thing, nothing too important as it only applied to those two, to ease their anxious thoughts. Kiara didn't know just how important it was.

''Ohhh! spacious..'' Prompto sang as they entered a large room, the same one they'd seen from a couple levels up. ''There's so gonna be a big nasty here.''

''Video game logic.'' Kiara grinned, Nudging Prompto's side. He was right of course, as they walked further in they had disturbed a Quetzacoatl, a large winged creature that really, Kiara could have gone without fighting that day.

Kiara watched as her friends fought, the three of them fighting as though they were linked telepathically. Noctis only ever had to say a name and you would know what he meant by it instantly, the friendship she'd walked into that day had become so important and she didn't realise it until Aranea's words.

She heard Prompto ask Aranea about Niflheim making weapons with daemons after they'd defeated the beast and picked up the Mithril. ''Kiara?'' Noctis called, turning back from the large doorway, staring over at his glaive with an expectant look. ''You following?''

She needed to talk to Noctis, needed to ask him but she'd save that for later. ''To hell and back.'' she grinned, jogging to catch up with the boys and Aranea though she broke off again the moment they exited Steycliff Grove, pulling away to the side and once again looking to the scar on her palm.

''You promised me.'' She whispered to herself, tracing the diagonal scarred flesh and looking up to the rising sun. ''I expect to see you there, Idiot. Don't think for one second that i'd forget.''

She waited for a moment, giving a small smile as she turned upon the call of her name from Prompto. ''Come on, Pidge! Can't leave with you!'' she copied the grin on Prompto's face as she followed him on the Niflheim Magitek engine, only doing so willingly because Aranea seemed like a pretty good person and She stood on the ramp as the engine lifted, looking out onto the horizon but as she turned to go and sit with Noctis and Prompto...

'I'll wait for you, Pigeon.

her reaction was immediate, turning again to stare wide-eyed out at the rising sun with tears gathering she heard the voice.

''Is everything well, Kiara?'' Ignis asked as he came to stand beside her.

Kiara nodded, wiping her eyes. ''Cook us something on the way to Lestallum, Iggy?'' She asked, fake joy in her words as she looked up at him. ''I'm starved.''

''Of course, what would my lady like to eat?''

''What?'' Kira blanched, asking him to repeat what he'd said.

Ignis looked at Kiara and raised an eyebrow. ''What would the lady like to eat?''

''Oh.'' she chuckled, thinking it was her mistake for hearing him wrong. ''Anything really, Ig's, I love anything you make. You're my favourite chef.''

''Very well.'' Ignis watched Kiara give a smile before joining Noctis and Prompto. ''Princess.''

Seems as though Kiara did hear right after all.
