Everyone's eyes are literally popping out of their sockets.
I swallow the lump that has formed in my throat.
My eyes travel around everyone's eyes. And then I look at Randhir. He's still grinning.
I facepalm myself in front of everyone.
There is pin drop silence in the dining room. My eyes close by themselves.
Why did Randhir just declare our relationship like that?
I give an I don't know expression to my inner self.
Idiot Randhir!!
And you love that idiot!! My inner self mocks me. I blush unknowingly.
Finally harsh uncle thinks about breaking the ear piercing silence.
"I think we should leave now."harsh uncle says while getting up.
Renuka aunty, Tanya, Parth and Sameer also gets up to go.
"Yeah.. It's too late."dad says while giving me a death glare.
"Randhir come let's go."Renuka aunty tells Randhir.
Randhir looks at me and smiles lovingly. For a moment I actually forget that I should feel bad that he declared our relationship in front of everyone like that and I smile looking at him.
"Good night Princess."he tells and kisses me on my cheeks before leaving.
Freaking shit!!!
I get weird looks from everyone and I lower my gaze.
Why this has to happen with me?
After that all of them leave and it's just me, Mom and Dad now.
Finally I look towards them. They just give me a blank look and walk away in their room.
I too come back in my room. I am feeling like I've disappointed them. And adding the fact that Randhir declared our relationship like that isn't helping at all.
Letting all the disappointment settle I let sleep conquer all my senses.
I open my eyes and the first thing that I see is Randhir. He smiles looking at me.
"Good morning Randhir."I say in half sleepy voice.
He takes my hand and kisses my knuckles lovingly. I giggle looking at his cute face.
"Randhir.. When I sleep I think about you. When I wake up I think about you. When I'm in lectures I think about you. And look even now in my dreams I'm thinking about you. I think I'm going crazy in love with you."I tell him.
He brings his face close to my ears.
"But this isn't a dream Princess."he tells.
I get up in a jolt and pinch my own self.
"Ouch!! It hurts."I say to my own self.
I look at Randhir and he's grinning and then realisation hits me.
"Shit Randhir..!! You're there in my room at this hour of the morning. If Mom or Dad watches you then we are dead."I tell him while pushing him away from me.
He holds both of my hand and pins me on the bed. His eyes travel on my whole face and then finally on my lips.
Kiss me, close your eyes and miss me..
I can read your lips on your fingertips
I can see your smile on your lips..
And happiness in your eyes..
I slap the inner voice of mine.
Really!?
I mean why am I thinking about 'that' thing always.
He comes hell close to my ears sending chills down my spine.
"Get ready quickly.. You and your parents have to come at my house for breakfast."he says and then gets up while leaving me.
He walks near the window and turns around.
Did he come from there?
Yeah he always does that.
My own mind answer the question.
"Sanyu.. Wear white and come. It really suits you."he tells me before going down from that window sill.
I run to that window to find Randhir all safe and fine.
Why does he have to do all the serial drama in real life?
When he'll break his bones because of this then he'll get to know.
I huff and go near the closet and take my clothes and go in the bathroom.
I look at myself in the mirror. I have wore a white sleeveless top with light blue ripped jeans and a little bit of make up. I looked good enough so as Randhir likes it.
I go downstairs only to find Mom and Dad already ready for our departure.
I look at them and they look away.
I'm already feeling guilty for getting into a relationship when I'm still a teen.
We walk to randhir's house and all the while mom and dad were looking at each other and talking with eyes.
Dad rings the door bell and Renuka aunty opens it.
We get inside the hall.
I really had expected that first we'll have breakfast and then we'll have 'the talk' which would include 1000 reason why kids should not get into a relationship this early.
I mean you just can't say that you're not an adult so you can't fall in love.
What is the basic logic behind it?
Finally I and Randhir are told to sit on the couch. I go and sit a little away from Randhir so that it doesn't get more awkward than it already is.
In front of us, on a big sofa my parents, Randhir's parents, Tanya, Parth and Sameer are sitting.
I'm already feeling the weird nervousness run all over in my body.
I close my eyes for one last time and remember all the happy moments I've spend with the people I love.
When I open my eyes I look at Randhir. He still has that smile on his face.
Can't for once in life this guy really get serious? This is not at all a happy situation!!
I look at my dad and he tells me to sit closer to Randhir.
My eyes widen with shock but I try putting a blank face.
I sit close to Randhir and he looks at me and smiles.
Again I get lost in that smile of his until I hear voices of everyone.
"Wow.. They look so cute together."mom says and I look at her.
A few moments before everyone was giving me blank looks and hard glares. What happened suddenly?
"Yeah they're really adorable."harsh uncle says.
"Perfect match."Renuka aunty says.
"Made for each other."dad says and my eyes widen in shock.
Within a moment all of them come and start hugging both of us.
Then Tanya comes and screams Bhabhi Bhabhi in my ears.
What the freak is going on?
My eyes are really popping out of my sockets and my mouth has taken a perfect 'O' shape.
After I don't know how long the chaos settles but still I'm in my own world until dad breaks it.
"Finally.. My daughter is in a relationship. I've been waiting for this day since so long."dad says and I look at him with disbelief.
"Yes. I'm also on cloud nine. I was so upset with the fact that Randhir didn't have a girlfriend that for once I thought he's not interested in girls..!"harsh uncle says it with ease.
Dad and harsh uncle have a hearty laugh.
"Dad!!!"Randhir says pouting sadly.
"What.. You'll have to agree that you didn't have a girlfriend."harsh uncle says and Randhir blushes.
"Now we're not just friends. Now we're family. Come in a hug."dad says while pulling harsh uncle in a hug.
I'll go crazy now!!
"Someone please do the honours of explaining me what's happening?"I literally scream on the top of my voice.
Yesterday all were giving me looks as if I'm culprit and today what has happened to them?
"We're happy that you are in relationship with a person who loves you more than his own life. And we're happy for you."dad tells me and kisses me on the top of my head.
"So.. You are not upset with the fact that I am in a relationship when I'm not an adult."I ask feeling amused by their behavior.
"Absolutely not.. Until you keep up in your limits. And moreover Randhir is the best guy we could get as our son - in - law. And we know he'll keep you happy."dad tells me.
I never knew that I could talk about this stuff with my parents too. And I never knew that they will support me this much.
I smile satisfactorily.
"How do you know that Randhir will be good partner for me?"I ask looking both at Randhir and my dad.
They both share a look before dad speaks up.
"Randhir asked for my permission to be in a relationship with you before he told you that he loves you. If he can tell the truth without any fear I'm sure he'll walk with you when everyone's against you."dad tells me and my eyes widen in shock.
"Ok. Now enough of these talks. You people have college. Let's eat breakfast and leave quickly."mom tells and Renuka aunty nods her head positively.
While we were having food all of us talk about our weird love story.
When everyone gets busy in their talks I look at Randhir.
He looks at me lovingly.
Dad's words ring in my head... He asked for my permission to get into a relationship with you...
How can a guy be so cute?
What did I do to get this cutie pie as my boyfriend?
And I blushed unknowingly while thanking my stars for giving Randhir in my life.
