"Hey guys wassup, it's Nicole here, back again with another awesome video." I said to the camera that I was holding.
"If you read the title, you know what's boutta happen. I'm going to pull the pregnant prank on Colby." I smiled devilishly to the camera.
"I happen to have these," I held up a box of fake pregnancy tests,"fake pregnancy tests, which I'm going to use to prank Colby. He's currently on his way home from hanging out with Brennen and Nik, so I'm going to set this camera up somewhere in his room and wait till he gets home."
I found the perfect spot to put the camera, and put some of Colby's clothes on top of it to hide it. His room was already so messy I don't think he would be able to tell if a hoodie got added to the mess.
I waited for about 15 minutes before Colby got home.
I was standing at the top of the stairs, with a camera that Colby couldn't see, that was recording. Colby walked through the front door.
"Babe." I said to get his attention.
He turned his head and smiled at me.
"Yeah?" He asked as he started taking his shoes off.
"Come to your room, I need to tell you something."
His facial expression changed from happy to concerned.
"Is it important?"
I nodded and walked back to his room.
I quickly put the camera back in its hiding space and waited for Colby to come into his room.
"Babe, what's up?" He asked, closing the bedroom door behind him.
"I-I don't know how to say it... so I'm just going to show you."
He looked worried.
I turned around and walked over to his desk and opened the top drawer. I pulled out a positive pregnancy test and wrapped my hands around it so he couldn't see what I was holding. I walked back over to him.
"Hold out your hand." I said.
He skeptically put his hand out. I put my hands, that was holding the pregnancy test, and held it above his. I then opened my hands, the pregnancy test falling into his.
I pulled my hands away and he took a closer look.
He looked back up at me.
"Is this real?" He asked.
I nodded.
"B-but... I don't understand." He continued.
"Understand what...?" I asked.
"Understand how you're pregnant." He sat down on his bed, still holding onto the test.
"Well, I mean, there's not many ways that that can happen." I semi-joked.
He looked up at me.
"Nicole..." he paused,"I can't."
Wait bitch what the fuck??
His comment took me aback.
"What do you mean 'I cant'?"
"I can't be a dad." He answered, standing up and running a hand through his hair.
I thought he would be supportive, but apparently not.
"Are you serious?" I asked.
"Nicole, you know we can not have a kid at this time in our lives."
I was already mad that he was acting this way, so I decided to take the prank in a different direction.
"Who said it was ours." I said.
He looked up at me.
"What do you mean?"
"I never said it was yours." I stated nonchalantly.
His expression changed.
"W-wait, it's not mine?" He asked, he sounded sadder.
I shook my head no. "Well, I'm not exactly sure."
He stared at me for a few seconds before speaking.
"So you're saying that you cheated on me?"
"I never said that."
"Nicole! There's only one way to get pregnant, you have sex, and you're saying that it wasn't mine, so you had sex with someone else. That's called cheating!" He threw the pregnancy test on the ground.
"It was an accident."
He looked at me.
"AN ACCIDENT?" He exclaimed. "How would that be an accident?"
"It was a sorta 'in the moment' thing."
"Nicole!" He started pacing around the room. "How could you do this?"
"I-I'm sorry."
"Don't play the victim card, you're the one who cheated and got yourself into this mess. What am I supposed to do?"
"Be there for the baby."
He stared at me, anger coursing through his body.
"It's not even my fucking child!"
"But won't you still love it."
"Are you fucking serious right now? Nicole, you cheated on your boyfriend, and got pregnant, and now you're asking him to father it because the guy you fucked is a no-good scumbag?"
I stayed quiet.
"That's exactly what you're doing right now and it's fucking ridiculous." He added.
"Colby--" I was going to tell him it was a prank now, but he cut me off.
"Nicole! Please just leave, I'm done."
"Colby--"
"Nicole! Just go, I don't want you here anymore."
I went to hug him to tell him it was a prank because he wouldn't listen to me.
"What the fuck are you doing Nicole?" He pushed me off of him. I fell on my ass and looked up at him.
I don't think he meant to knock me down, but he still did it nonetheless.
I stood up and wanted to slap his face, but I didn't.
"Colby it's a fucking prank!" I laughed.
His expression softened slightly.
"I don't believe you." He said, crossing his arms.
I went over to where I set the camera up at and picked it up. As I walked back over to Colby, I saw him become relieved.
"The camera was right there." I laughed and pointed to where it was hiding at.
"Oh thank god." He let out a breath he was holding and sat down on the bed.
"You really think I would cheat on you?" I laughed.
"No, but it was very believable."
"Team Nicole for the win!" I said to the camera.
"No no no no, team Nicole sucks." Colby said.
I looked at him.
"My team sucks because you fell for my prank?" I joked.
He looked at me. "Very funny."
I laughed and ended the video.
I set the camera on the desk and sat next to Colby on the bed.
"Would you actually be that upset if I was really pregnant?" I asked, leaning my head on his shoulder.
"Upset? I wasn't upset, I was just shocked."
"So that's why you pushed me?" I joked.
"Okay first of all, I didn't mean to make you fall on your ass, second of all, it was because you were trying to hug me after you said you cheated on me."
I laughed. "Well you know I'd never cheat on you right? I love you."
He nodded.
"I love you too."
