I got lonely. I didn't like sleeping by myself. You would think that I would be used to this, but I wasn't.
I pushed the sheets off my body and threw my feet onto the floor as I got out of the queen sized bed. I opened the guest bedroom door and went down the hall to Javon's room. I opened it as quietly as I could before stepping inside and closing the door behind me.
Javon laid there on his back. His bare chest was on display and I couldn't help but stare for a little. He was fine, I'll give him that!
My feet tip toed on the wooden floor until I got to Javon's bed. Pulling back the comforter , I made sure there was alot of space between us. I then slid into the bed and relaxed.
"So, you decided to take me up on that offer?" I heard next to me.
I smirked. "Yeah."
Javon shifted so that he was laying on his side and facing me. "Why you all the way over there? Come a little closer."
"I'm good where I'm at," I replied, closing my eyes.
Javon moved again. Opening my eyes, I saw that he was directly on my side of the bed, smiling at me. I backed up and watched him follow me.
"Javon stop being a creep yo," I said.
I rolled back again as he moved near me. I was about to go back one more time before Javon caught me.
"Careful. Ya big forehead ass was about to roll over and fall on the floor."
Glancing behind me, I saw that he was right. I rolled my eyes and scooted over so that I wasn't near the edge of the bed.
"My forehead is not big," I said with a pout on my lips. People always tried to come at me about my forehead.
Javon laughed and pinched my cheeks. "It's a'ight. We all got big things on us," he said with a wink.
Realizing what he was talking about, I hit his chest. Javon laughed again and stopped my hand from hitting him. His laugh was one of the sexiest things I ever heard, but I wouldn't let him get the satisfaction of hearing me ever say those words.
Javon touched my neck and started tickling me. His fingers moved from my neck to my stomach and I laughed and squirmed trying to get away.
"Javon stop it!" I yelled while laughing.
"Nah," he said while laughing himself.
I was dying of laughter. For once, I actually felt free. He was doing something that most people couldn't make me do.
"Quit it! I can't breathe," I said, laughing more.
"Alright, imma stop," he said as he took his fingers off me.
I quieted down my laughing as I tried to get some oxygen into my lungs. When I got my breathing in order, Javon pulled me closer to him and laid me on his chest. I got comfortable on him. I breathed in his scent.
"You smell good," I commented.
Javon laughed. I felt the vibrations from his chest. "Am I supposed to stink?"
I sucked my teeth. "Just take the compliment bruh."
"Thank you Hayden."
I rolled my eyes. "Mhm." I used my hand to rest it on him. I started tracing little patterns on his chest because I wanted to. I felt him put his arm around my body, but I didn't say anything. It was nice to have someone there even if they weren't your man. Javon and I were really cool. It was like a relationship but without all the lovey dovey shit that came along with it. Other than cuddling, that is.
"What you thinking about?" I heard above me.
I couldn't tell him my thoughts. He couldn't get that close. "Nothing."
"You lying to me?"
I lifted my head and looked at him. "Nope."
"Yes you are. But it's cool. Imma let you slide."
"Well Mr. Nosey.. what are you thinking about?"
"Your lips," he said.
"What about them?" I asked. I was curious 'cause I was thinking about his too.
"I was thinking how they would feel if I-" his sentence was cut short when his phone started ringing.
I let him reach over to get it as I turned over to the other side of the bed.
"Imma take this. I'll be right back," he said.
I nodded my head as I felt the bed become empty. Not waiting for him to come back, I closed my eyes and drifted off to sleep.

I woke up the next day feeling great. I stretched and sat up in the bed. Javon was sleeping peacefully beside me and he couldn't have looked any sexier.
I went in the bathroom to wash my face and brush my teeth. I grabbed my phone off the charger and checked my notifications.
Lil Brother: I touched down in Cali. Dad says to call him when you can. Love you!
Me: Okay, will do. I love you too. Be safe.
Justice was in Cali visiting our father. We traveled to see him frequently and he would come to see us too. I tried to convince my father to move to New York, but he wanted to keep the house he's been living in and he loved his state.
I then scrolled down Instagram. I saw that Armani posted several pictures of her and Sincere on their honeymoon in Jamaica.
Before I could finish commenting on one of their pictures, my phone vibrated in my hands. It was Armani. I answered the FaceTime call.
"Child, you're on your honeymoon. Why you calling me?" I asked. If I was on my honeymoon, I damn sure wouldn't be paying my phone no mind.
"I needed a break from Sin," Armani responded.
I laughed. "You needed a break?.. From your husband?"
"Yes," she said while nodding her head.
"His hormones jumping over there right?" I asked.
"Bitch, you don't know the half of it. We been fuckin' since before the plane landed!"
I laughed at her. "He tryna get you pregnant."
Armani rolled her eyes. "He's not putting no baby in me. Well, at least not now anyways. Give me another year or two."
I nodded my head.
"Hayden?" Armani said.
"Yes Armani?"
"Who house you in? That is definitely not the color of your bedroom wall. And I know the color because the painter tried to flirt with me that day.
"I'm in the guest bedroom," I replied.
Armani sucked her teeth. "The guest bedroom not that color either."
"Justice's room?"
Armani shook her head. "You a damn lie!"
Javon stirred in his sleep next to me and I couldn't help but look at his sexy ass. He looked so good when he slept. He looked good all the time in my opinion.
"Girl, I gotta go," I said before hanging up the phone.
"Who was that?" Javon asked me.
I raised my eyebrow. "You my nigga?"
"No, but it's a free country. I could ask a question, can't I?" He asked.
"It was Armani." I don't even know why I told him. I wasn't obligated and it was my business.
Javon nodded as he got out the bed. I noticed that he was wearing nothing but Polo boxers and his morning wood was up. I stopped staring and picked up my phone again, hoping he ain't catch me.
He went to the bathroom and shut the door behind him. Feeling my stomach growl, I went downstairs to the kitchen to cook some breakfast. I started with prepping the pancake batter. Javon had a well stocked fridge and I knew where everything was.
"What you making us?" Javon asked, peering over my shoulder.
"Pancakes, sausage, and eggs."
"Damn. I could taste that shit already," Javon said.
I smiled at him. "You wanna help?"
"Yeah. What you need me to do?"
I assigned him the task of frying the bacon while I cooked the pancakes.

After eating, I showered and got dressed in jeans and a white tank top. I then put on my black and white slip on Vans. I brushed my hair out and put it in a high ponytail.
"Javon?" I called out, going into his office.
"Wassup?"
"I'm leaving. I'll see you later."
"Why? Where you going?" He asked as he got up and went to where I was standing.
"Home?" I replied, making it sound more like a question.
"Don't leave yet. We could spend the day together," he suggested.
"Spend the day doing what? I got inventory to do and I have to check on the shop," I told him.
"So? We could do that together. And then we could go to the movies or something."
"Movies?" I asked with a raised eyebrow. I ain't wanna see no damn movie.
"Or whatever you wanna do."
I thought it over for a minute before I agreed to spend the day with him.
"We're going to the bakery and then we're gonna go roller skating," I said.
"Roller skating?" Javon asked like he ain't hear what I said.
"Did I stutter?" I asked with folded arms.
"Why we can't do something simple?"
"Simple like what?"
"Sex. Having sex is simple," Javon said with a shrug and a smirk.
I hit his chest hard.
"Damn Hayden! Fuck you do that for?"
I rolled my eyes. "Just get dressed. I'll be waiting downstairs for you."
I went downstairs as I left Javon to get ready for our day out. Minutes later, he came down. He was dressed in light blue Balmain jeans with a white t-shirt. He paired it with his gold, black, and white Air Jordan Retro 5s. The light in his living room shown on the gold chain he wore around his neck.
"You ready?" He asked me.
"Yeah. Let's go," I replied, getting off the couch to walk to the front door.

"Do you really have to go through all this?" Javon asked next to me.
"Yes. I need to keep the bakery stocked if I want to continue feeding my customers, the fuck." I mean mugged Javon and rolled my eyes. I turned my back to him as I looked down at the clipboard in my hand.
Javon sucked his teeth and turned me to face him.
"What you think you doing?" I asked.
"Who you talking to? Better watch ya mouth before I-"
"Before you what?" I asked, looking up at him. His pink lips looked suckable and I wanted nothing more than to suck them.
Javon let me go as he backed up. He then smirked. "You'll find out soon enough."
"Find out what?" I asked with a raised eyebrow.
Javon ignored me. He walked to the back of the bakery. I couldn't help but wonder what he was talking about.
Guess I'll never find out.

Okay, there was alot of shifts in this chapter and it was boring and it made probably no sense, but it's honestly a little filler in.. you know? The calm before the storm?.. I also didn't wanna give away too much.
