I flopped back on the couch in the agency and sighed.
"You assholes!" I looked up to see Lalisa limping into the room without her crutches.
"Lalisa!" I greeted her quickly, surprised at her sudden entrance.
"You left me here! What were you doing?" She demanded.
I laughed nervously and responded, "Dazai and I were just out. Something happened and Jennie found us. I thought she would've told you."
Lalisa's glare was now directed towards Jennie, who put her hands up in defense.
"You were asleep."
"You could've woken me up!"
"Just be quiet, and we'll tell you about it."
"What'd I miss?"
•
"You didn't wake me up for that? I would've punched Yimin in the face for you. Believe me; I've been waiting to do that for a long time." Lalisa argued, furrowing her eyebrows.
"Sorry. I just noticed you've seemed tired lately, so I you would enjoy some extra sleep." Jennie answered, shrugging.
"At least you told me." She mumbled bitterly, looking at the ground and crossing her arms.
I bit my lip,but Jennie just clapped and said, "You should get to bed."
She motioned for Lalisa to follow her. She gave Jennie a glare, but followed anyway.
Once Lalisa was into her room, Jennie hung on the doorframe and told us she was going to bed too.
Once I heard 2 doors slam shut, I looked at Dazai.
I found he was already looking at me. I blushed and carried myself over to the chair I was sitting at just the other day.
I could now point out the mafia base easily. The old warehouse seemed to sway in the wind because of its age.
I suddenly felt two hands on my shoulder and hot air against my ear.
"I didn't hear you come over." I said softly. Dazai chuckled into my ear.
"You were a little distracted, so I took my chances." He smiled softly against my ear.
His hands left my shoulder and I found him sitting next to me.
"I-"
"Don't think of anything, don't say anything. Not even a word. Just give me a smile. You look beautiful when you smile." Dazai said.
I felt my cheeks heat up and I couldn't surpress a smile.
Dazai smiled back at me.
"I still can't believe it. All of this seems like a dream.".
Dazai nodded.
"You being here is a dream come true." Dazai whispered in my ear.
I smiled.
"Likewise." I whispered softly.
"Don't try to disappear again. I don't think i'd be able to let you go." Dazai mumbled softly, smiling.
"You seem happy."
Dazai nodded, "I am."
"Why?" I asked, feeling like I already knew the answer.
"I have you here by my side. If I let go of your hand, I can't help but feel that you'll fly away and break." Dazai said.
"That's so cheesy." I said quietly.
Dazai smiled and leaned in, stopping as his lips were able to brush mine.
I sighed, letting out a shaky breath i hadn't realized I'd been holding.
Dazai chuckled.
"I said we'd continue later, didn't I?" He whispered, closing the gap between us.
I smiled against his lips and pulled away after a bit.
"I'd do anything to experience that again." I breathed.
"You would need an extra life for that."
