"Get off of me! This is an expensive overcoat!"

I furrowed my brows at the new voice, but still nonetheless kept trying to pry the women's hands off of Dazai's collar.

"Did you implant iron into your knuckles?" I muttered, making a face as I continued to try to free him.

The woman nodded, smiling sweetly as I continued to struggle.

"Seriously?" I asked, my grip listened slightly for a moment at the surprise of her responding seriously to my lighthearted question.

"Just for situations like this." The woman answered, grinning.

"I don't want to know what kind of life you live, nor do I ever want to." I mumbled, working on trying to pull her fingers away from Dazai's coat.

He was beginning to breathe weirdly, and at that moment I realised that I needed to come up with something. Because, this obviously wasn't working.

After thinking for a moment, I carefully swept my leg out held my breath expectantly, waiting.

As I had hoped, I felt her hands come loose as she fell to the ground, letting Dazai go. In this time, he pulled me away, crouching down with me a few feet away as he held me so I didn't trip.

She looked slightly annoyed, her hand going over her ankle in quick circles. But I tore my attention away from her and looked at Dazai.

I joked to him in a small voice, "I would say thank you. But I guess it really should be the opposite right now, yeah?".

"You'll get another chance, trust me."

The door burst open, making all three of us look over. Akutagawa's voice was heard first, "Shut up, I don't care about your jacket!"

He pulled two other figures in roughly, earning another chorus of replies from the one. When he got quiet, I noticed that they'd both started to stare at me.

I snuck a glance at Dazai, who was staring at the two men Akutagawa had brought in.

"She was telling the truth?" I mumbled confusedly, looking at the ground and absentmindedly playing with my hair.

"Hey!" Akutagawa walked up to me quickly and snapped his fingers in my face, leaving the two behind to stare.

I looked up at him, surprised. Then I felt Dazai's arm snake around my shoulder as he gave my arm a light squeeze.

"What's going on?" I asked quietly, staring at Akutagawa, returning his blank stare.

He didn't say anything, but let out a sharp short laugh instead.

Akutagawa crouched down so he was eye level with me and sent me a small sarcastic smile.

"You're a bit denser than I remember, Y/N." Akutagawa mused, shaking his head and standing up.

I let out a sigh and cleared my throat.

"I would comment back, but I don't remember much about you. And I don't think to call you an asshole would be very nice." I hinted, smiling tightly.

Akutagawa raised his brows momentarily before looking away.

I snuck a glance behind him, where I was met with the boring gaze of the blonde haired man that Akutagawa had brought in.

The woman sneered, disgust practically radiating off of her.

I started to get up, but Dazai tightened his grip on my shoulder.

"Stop," Dazai whispered, his hand shifting down to my waist.

I looked over at him, my brows knitting in confusion

"I never caught your name." Akutagawa interrupted, staring at the woman, his expression flat.

"I'd prefer to keep it that way, please." The woman petitioned, smiling tightly.

Akutagawa let out a short laugh in disbelief and took a small step towards her.

"Don't come near me." The woman mused quietly.

Akutagawa arched a quizzical brow.

The woman looked up at him, sniffing as she wiped her arm over her nose. But she once took her boring gaze off of him.

"Traitor." She said faintly, smiling as she let her arm fall to her side.

"Don't pull that word on me," Akutagawa warned her quietly, pushing up against the wall with Rashomon.

She repeated her words almost eagerly, "Traitor."

Akutagawa stared at her curiously.

"Dazai, this is taking up too much time, we need to—"

"Y/N," He shushed me, not bothering to look at me as he stared at Akutagawa in awe.

"But, they're still over there tied up," I protested quietly, putting my hand over his knee. He looked down at my hand and up at my face.

He bit his lip and shifted to get a view of Atsushi and Kunikida. He sighed.

"I guess you're right. This is taking more time than expected." He muttered, furrowing his brows.

I swallowed a lump in my throat and shifted around, my legs getting cramped up from being crouched for so long.

"Am I being a bother?" The woman nagged, her voice strained from the positioning of Akutagawa's Rashomon.

"You do a good job." Akutagawa agreed quietly.

"Maybe there's a professional job? You could make some good money, being as good as someone like yourself." Dazai commented, standing up.

I lost my balance a bit when my hand slipped off of his knee.

"I didn't ask you." She told him, ignoring him yet obviously irritated.

"But I answered the question no one had enough guts to answer, yeah?" He scoffed proudly, crossing his arms.

"Is he sparkling?"

"Trust me, it's normal."

Dazai added, "The answer is yes by the way."

"Dazai, just, stop talking," I warned, getting up and slowly making my way past Akutagawa, just in case.

He rolled his head backs to give me a cool look.

"I'm not going to hurt you, dumbass," Akutagawa mumbled, turning his attention back to the woman who had gone back to struggling under Rashomon's grip.

I sighed and decided 'fuck it' and hurried over to the two men that were tied up.

"I'm sorry this took so long." I apologized, my hands fumbling to untie the knots, which came undone fairly quickly.

I grabbed the rope and threw it aside, looking up at Atsushi and Kunikida, who were collectively staring at me.

I smiled awkwardly before turning back around, training my attention on Akutagawa.

"Thanks, Y/N." Kunikida stammered softly. I turned back around at that, amiably surprised.

"You're welcome." I returned, smiling gently.

I turned around again to a blood-curdling scream, my eyes dilating as I watched the woman scream and struggle under Akutagawa's ability's grip.

My expression melted into a small look of horror.

"Hey, that's enough," Dazai ordered, his hand landing on Akutagawa's arm.

The woman dropped to the ground with a soft thud, letting out a groan as she shifted around uncomfortably.

Dazai took a chance and rushed up to her, clicking handcuffs onto her thin wrists.

Her eyes focused on the cuffs and she let out a small noise in surprise.

"What?" She breathed, trying to rip out of them.

"Where did you even get those from?" I asked, laughing slightly.

"A good man is always prepared." He winked at me, making me roll my eyes in disbelief.

I arched an eyebrow and looked at Akutagawa, who was glaring strongly at Dazai. I let out a breath of relief as Dazai ignored his glare and crouched down next to the shaking woman.

"Tell me your name," Dazai spoke softly, staring curiously at the woman in front of him.

She let out a small laugh and looked up at him. "My name? My name is something called a secret."

"Well? All secrets are bound to be told eventually."

I noticed that Akutagawa seemed to be even more high strung as the moments passed, so I put my hand on his shoulder and told him, "Calm down."

He looked back at me, surprised.

I smiled tightly and the tips of his ears flushed pink before looking back to Dazai.

Dazai tried again, "Tell us your name."

The woman's eyes surveyed the room, everyone's stare weighing down her decision.

"Lalisa." She mumbled, "It's Lalisa."
