We settled inside as he set me on the couch, brought me some water and we began building a fort out of the couch cushions, blankets and pillows.
We were almost done making the fort when my phone started ringing. I waddled over to my phone and saw Dylan's picture on it. I shrieked quietly, excited to hear his voice again.
"Hey, baby. I just called to check on you, see how you guys are doing. I miss you." Dylan said through the phone. "I miss you, too, Dyl. It's so nice to hear your voice again. We're just making a fort right now. We went to the beach today." I told him. "Really? How was it?" He asked. "It was fun. There was a little mishap, but nothing to worry about." I mentioned. 'Wait, what? What happened? Are you okay?" Dylan sounded nervous through the phone. "Dyl, I'm okay. Everything's going just fine." I assured him. "Okay. Well, I gotta go. I was just calling to see how you're doing. I'll see you tomorrow night, okay?" Dylan said. "Okay. I miss you and I love you." I said. "Love you, too, baby girl." We, then, hung up and I walked slowly back to the living room where Tyler popped his head out from under the fort. "Hey, was that Dylan? How's he doing?" He asked. "He's fine." I said, and I kinda slumped, sitting on the couch. "Hey, you okay." Tyler came to sit next to me. "Yeah. It's just, even though he's only been gone for one night and I'll see him tomorrow night, I just can't really stand being away from him." I tell Ty. Tears start to fall from my eyes. "No, (Y/N). C'mon. It's okay." He embraced me and let me cry into his shoulder.
A minute later, "Okay. I'm good." I said, and we made our way into the fort. We watched movies all night and ate junk food. The day ended as a fun, simple weekend with my brother.
It was 5:55 Sunday night and Dylan was supposed to come home in 5 minutes. I was so excited as I watched upstairs for him in my bedroom window. Tyler had brought me back to my house so I wouldn't have to do much walking with my foot and all. Tyler went to get Dylan from the airport as I waited for them to get home.
5 minutes later, I heard the door unlock and I knew it was Dylan, also because I watched them pull into the driveway, and Tyler had gone back to his house. Dylan ran inside as I tried running as fast as I could downstairs. Dylan spotted me as I limped down the stairs, my foot giving me problems. He walked up to me and hugged me in his arms and swung me around. "Hey, baby! I missed you so much!" Dylan said to me, setting me back on the ground, his arms still around my waist. "I missed you too, babe." I replied. He released me, setting his hands on my waist. "So, how was this weekend?" He asked me. "It was fun. This morning, Tyler brought me to Mimi's Cafe and we got some Oreo frappuccino's." I told him. "Mm... sounds good." He paused as I repositioned and winced at the pain.
"(Y/N), what's wrong?" He asked me as he looked down at my foot and saw the bandaged wrapped around it. "That's the little mishap I told you about. We were at the beach yesterday and I stepped on a piece of glass. We went to the hospital and got it taken out. But it's fine. I'm okay. It doesn't really hurt that much anymore. So if you're mad at Ty, don't be it wasn't his fault. It was mine." I explained. "(Y/N), all I care about is that you're okay. Did you have a good time otherwise?" "No." I joked, but he didn't think it was a joke. "What? Why not?" He asked, confused. "'Cause when you came home, I didn't get a kiss." I smiled up at him. He smiled at me and started leaning down. His soft lips gently brushed against mine as our lips touched, deepening the kiss.
"I love you so much, kitten." Dylan whispered, his lips against my forehead. He kissed my forehead as I said, "I love you, too, Dyl. Never leave me again." "The director already said I can bring you to the next shoot and you can stick with me all you want." He told me. "Perfect." I said.
Later that night, Dylan and I settled on the couch watching the TV show Friends as I curled up on Dylan's chest like a little kitten. He kissed the top of my head and whispered sweet nothing's into my ear.
