[Niall POV]
After spending such an amazing night with Harry last night I phoned Liam and told him I was going to come see him today. Like Harry and Louis; Liam and I have a great friendship, people always assume it's something more but we've never been anything more than friends. After giving Harry a long tender kiss goodbye I grabbed my things and headed out the house. I'm excited to tell Liam all about Harry and me although I guess he's already seen the interview.
I climbed into my car and set off in the direction of Liam's house, he doesn't live that far so it's only a short drive but I stopped off at a local store to grab a sandwich and drink before going round, I don't really know why as I could eat his food but I just fancied something from the store. When I finally pulled up at Liam's place I set the car in park and buzzed the bell. Liam quickly answered as he knew I was already on my way over and let me in. Stepping inside I quickly slipped of my shoes making sure not to dirty the carpet and headed for the living room where I guessed Liam would be.
"Li you in here?" I called out entering the living room.
"Sure am!" he replied patting the seat next to him, he looks happy.
I walked inside and took a running jump into the seat next to him; Liam wrapped his arm tightly around my shoulder and pulled me in for a long bone crushing side hug. I wrapped my own arms around him and enjoyed a well missed moment with my close friend.
"How are you Li? Feels like I haven't seen you in ages!" I asked feeling like a bad friend.
"It has been ages!" he gasped then laughed. "You've been with Harry a lot, what's up with that?"
"You haven't watched the interview have you?" I answered a question with a question.
"What no? What interview?" Liam looked genuinely shocked like he had no idea what I was talking about.
Well this is a little awkward! The reason behind the interview is so everyone would find out at the same time and now I'm here on my own and I'm going to have to tell Liam about Harry and me.
"Right well erm ok. Harry and I are erm. Dating!" I just came out with it
"YOU WHAT?" Liam shouted, like actually shouted like he is angry.
"Harry's my boyfriend!" I told him in a whisper a little intimidated by his raised voice
I don't think I've ever really seen or heard Liam shout like that before, he is really scary. I can't tell if he's mad or if he's messing around but this is actually very intimidating.
"You're joking me right?"
"Um no!"
"Niall what are you thinking? This isn't right! You and Harry that's not right, you have to break up with him. It'll never work out between you guys and what if you do brake up on a bad note it's going to split the band up. Are you even thinking logically?" Liam's words burnt a hole straight through my heart.
How can he be saying these things to me? He's supposed to be my best friend and he's sitting here telling me that the guy I'm falling hard for is no good for me and we shouldn't be together.
"I'm not breaking up with him Liam, how can you even say something like this to me? You're supposed to be my best friend and you're basically telling me not to be happy!" I gasped trying to hold back the tears.
"I'm not telling you to not be happy I'm just saying being with Harry isn't going to keep you happy. You have to break up with him Ni!"
"I'm not braking up with him!" I stood up as tears fell from my eyes.
"WHAT?"
"I SAID IM NOT BRAKING UP WITH HIM!" I shouted back. "I can't believe you. I thought you were my friend!" I whispered and stormed out the living room.
I hurriedly pulled on my shoes and slammed the front door behind me. Quickly I jumped into my car and turned on the engine but before pulling off onto the road I slammed my fists on the steering wheel angrily. Tears are streaming down my face right now and I can't control them. Not wanting to stay near Liam's house any longer I put my foot on the peddle and drove away.
