The Wedding

All of the bridesmaids were clad in simply black dresses with different colored belts around their waist.

Zelena had dark green, Emma had pink, Belle had yellow, Snow had blue, and Tink had pastel green. The groomsmen wore black suits with a flower matching the colored belt of the bridesmaid they would walk down the aisle with. As the music began playing, Zelena and Arthur took that as their cue to start walking.

Once they entered the room, Regina began pacing back and forth, suddenly nervous.

"Mom," Henry whispered harshly, stopping Regina.

"What?"

"Everything is going to be alright."

"You'll do great," Emma added. "Just think, in just a bit, you're going to be married to your soulmate." Emma turned around and entwined her arm with Neal's. The two began walking down the aisle to stand next to Zelena and Arthur. Once Emma and Neal split apart at the end of the aisle, Tink and August started their walk.

Belle pulled Regina into a side hug, careful to not mess up the dresses, makeup, and hairdos.

"Belle," Will called in a hushed voice, signalling that it was time for them to begin walking. Belle held up a finger and looked into Regina's eyes.

"Regina, I promise that I'm not going to tell anyone about last night...er...this morning. And if you ever need comfort at three in the morning again, please don't hesitate to call me."

Regina smiled at her friend. "Thank you, Belle." Regina would have pulled her into a hug, but there wasn't time to fix any makeup smudges now, so they had to be careful. Belle nodded and stepped towards Will. The two linked arms and began walking.

"Regina..." Snow grabbed Regina's arms and pulled her to the side. "Look, I know you get annoyed by me when I'm constantly going on about Outlaw Queen, but in all seriousness, I am beyond happy that you've found your happiness. I wouldn't want anything less than happily ever after for my step-mother."

Regina could almost feel her heart melt when Snow referred to Regina as her step-mother. The two hardly ever spoke about their relation because they were good friends, so the fact that they were mother and daughter didn't really matter much. But Regina would still protect Snow like a daughter, because that's what she was. And once again, Regina was disappointed that she couldn't hug Snow and risk messing up the perfectly done makeup.

"Thank you," Regina said in a small voice.

Snow nodded before glancing over at David. It was nearly time for them to begin walking. "It's only a matter of minutes before you're standing across from Robin, gazing into his eyes like nothing else exists," Snow winked and strolled back over to David. Regina rolled her eyes, but she knew Snow was probably right.

Henry and Roland followed the Charmings, and they were followed by the flower girls, dressed in baby blue dresses. Riley's had a ribbon, lace, and a flower on the waistline, but Grace and Violet's did not.

Grace and Violet each had one hand on the handle of the white wagon where Riley sat. Their other hand held a basket full of light purple and blue flower petals that they would toss out on the edge of the aisle as they walked. Riley also had a basket, but more for looks than for her to actually use.

Riley, Grace, and Violet began slowly making their way down the aisle, and only Regina and her father were left. Regina entwined her arm with her dad's and tried to calm her nerves. She kept imagining more things that could go wrong, each scenario worse than the last. And, of course, her nightmare form the night before was still haunting her...

Regina stood at the altar, looking into Robin's eyes. Everything was absolutely perfect. She finally had he happy ending. Robin took her hands in his, and Friar Tuck began speaking. But it was only a matter of seconds before the door burst open. Regina stepped in front of Robin, expecting to see Cora. But no, Cora should be in the audience. She had been invited.

A man stepped into the church, flanked by Prince James and Percival, and Regina immediately began to wish it had been her mother instead.

"No..." Emma muttered form somewhere behind Regina. "But you don't..."

"Well clearly I'm back," Hades spread his arms apart and the Olympian Crystal appeared in his right hand. And suddenly, Regina, Robin, and Hades were the only people who existed.

"I won't let you hurt him!" Regina's voice sounded much stronger than she felt, which she was grateful for.

"There's nothing you can do," Hades said, faking an apologetic tone. "GallifreyanFairytale sent me. The revolt is over, Regina."

"NO!" Regina thrust her hands out towards Hades, but it was no use. Her magic wouldn't work. So she resorted to begging for Robin's life instead, "Please, you can't take him. Kill me instead."

"Regina," Robin placed a hand on Regina's shoulder. "I won't let you get hurt." He pulled Regina into a kiss, and as he stepped back, bolts of magic shot from the Olympian Crystal towards Robin.

And before Regina had time to even cry out, she had bolted upright, breathing heavily and desperately hoping she hadn't woken anyone up.

"Darling, are you okay?" Henry Sr's words ripped Regina from her thought.

Regina managed a nod and a weak smile. "Y-Yeah. Just pre-wedding jitters."

Apparently Henry Sr. knew that Regina's 'pre-wedding jitters' weren't the usual type, because he turned to look at her, kindness and a hint of worry in his eyes. "You will be fine, my dear. You've finally found your happy ending and I couldn't be happier that I'm here to walk you down the aisle and send you off to your soulmate rather than some old King who you could never love. Robin is a wonderful man, and I know you two will be happy for the rest of your lives, and even after."

Regina felt her eyes begin to tear up and tried to blink them back so her mascara wouldn't run. She opened her mouth to reply, but couldn't think of what to say. So she simply turned to face forward, and Regina and her father began walking down the aisle.

As soon as Regina entered the room, everyone sitting down rose to their feet. Regina was wearing a light purple dress - she didn't want white because she felt it was an 'innocent' color, and she didn't want that because it felt wrong. It was nothing too extravagant because anything over the top reminded her of the Leopold wedding, which was something she wanted to forget about.

(A/N: Excuse the terrible manip and just focus on the dress and we can pretend it actually looks like it's really Regina)

Regina glanced around the room, quickly looking the guests over. She saw Cinderella, Thomas, and their three-year-old daughter. She saw the Arendelle crew as well as those from Wonderland. Hook was sitting in between Milah and Liam, and Regina found it a bit odd that Milah had chosen to sit next to him, but she wasn't going to question it.

After scanning the crowd, Regina's eyes went straight to Robin. Her eyes locked with his and suddenly, the memory of a quote floated into her mind; "Have you ever met someone who you would change your whole world for? Someone whose eyes you just...knew you were born to gaze into?"

Looking into Robin's eyes convinced Regina that Robin was that person for her. Once they had made eye contact, all of Regina's fears about what could go wrong floated away, leaving Regina feeling much lighter and happier. She felt her heartbeat speed up as she realized that the moment she had been waiting moths for was finally here.

She was finally marrying Robin.

"You look beautiful, my love," Robin's soft voice entered Regina's mind.

"You don't look too bad yourself, Thief."

Regina grinned as she looked at Robin. It was clear Robin was mesmerized by Regina, because he couldn't even tear his eyes from her love-filled eyes and smile to look at her dress.

As Regina and Henry Sr. neared the altar, Regina left go of her father's arm and seemed to drift into Robin's as if a gravitational force was pulling her there. Robin took Regina's hands in his and squeezed them reassuringly.

Friar Tuck spoke for a few moments before it was time for the wedding vows. Since Regina had insisted on having pockets in her wedding dress - you never know when a Donna Noble moment could happen and you get transported into the TARDIS - she pulled her vows out and slowly unfolded the wrinkled piece of paper.

"Robin Locksley," she began, "I love you. I love you more than I could ever put into words, but here's my weak attempt at doing so.

"When I gave into the darkness all those years ago, I was sure I would never love again. And even more than that, I was sure that no one could ever love me. I was stuck in a loveless marriage with a king twice my age, doing my best to raise a stepdaughter I loathed with nearly every fiber of my being. And I sealed my fate with that infertility potion I took to rid myself of my mother - or so I thought my fate was sealed.

"But you, Robin...you proved me wrong. You opened me up to something I never thought I could have; my happy ending. When I met you, I had just lost Henry and been forced to send Daniel away after Doctor Whale attempted to bring him back not long before that. I was broken, and couldn't find a reason to live. But you and Roland changed that. You turned my life upside down and somehow, your hope was much less infuriating than Snow's because for some reason...I actually believed you. And I am so glad I did." Regina took a deep breath and readied herself for the next paragraph, hoping she wouldn't break down.

"We've been through a lot since that day when you saved Snow and I from Zelena's flying monkey. I lost you...several times, and each downfall seemed worse than the last. And yet, somehow we dared to believe each plot twist thrown our way was the worst it would get. You and I dared to have hope up until that evening in my vault when I had shut myself out. And I know how unlike me it is to have hope for things to all work out, but because of you, I did, for a while. But that night..." Regina took a moment to put herself back together, "it was hard. I was counting down the seconds until you were supposed to...to..." Regina's voice got quiet, "to die." She had to blink back her tears before she could continue talking, "And then you...you stupid thief, you waited to propose to me until the last night we had together," Regina smiled sadly, "and suddenly, one of the worst nights of my life became one of the best.

"And here we stand, nearly three months later, getting married. And I thank GallifreyanFairytale every day for revolting and bringing you back to me, because I don't think I could have gone on without you, Robin. We complete each other. Our souls are connected, and w-when you..." Regina fought back tears and tried again, "when Hades..." Regina decided to skip the part saying Robin had died and moved onto the next sentence instead, "it felt like part of my own soul was gone forever.

"I could not be happier that we're standing here today, making it official that our two souls are one, because I love you and I always will, no matter what fate may throw at us. You're my soulmate, my true love, and very soon, you will be my husband. I love you, Robin Locksley."

Regina was already tearing up from reading her vow aloud, and she knew that she would probably be sobbing by the time Robin was done with hers, but instead of wiping her tears away, she kept one hand entwined with Robin's and the other still held her vow.

Robin unfolded his and began speaking. "I'm not sure how I can compete with that, but here we go..."

Robin took a deep breath, "Regina Mills. I'm calling you this because this is the last time anyone can use Mills as your last name before it is legally changed to Locksley. And then I will spend every day referring to you as my beautiful Queen Locksley.

"I, as you did, had trouble figuring out how exactly I could describe my love for you. Zelena, I think, attempted to give me some pointers, but she ended up telling me to write Captain Swan fan fiction instead." Robin shot a pointed glance at Zelena, who stepped behind Emma. Regina suppressed laughter and rolled her eyes.

"Anyways, your sister had a few good tips, as well as a profound apology. I won't go into detail about the latter, but before that she told me to 'write from my heart', so I did just that.

"I knew I was in love with you the first moment I saw you during the Missing Year, and again when I was looking into your eyes in that tavern in Isaac's universe. When you ran away in Zelena's cabin after seeing my tattoo, I was afraid I had ruined anything that might have come for us, whether friendship or something more. And I cannot express how happy I am that you opened yourself up to love again. I know you credit me for helping you in that, but in the end, it was you who allowed me into your heart.

"I know this love we have has never been easy, but I hope that now, whatever trials we may face, we can face them together rather than facing something coming between us. Because I am now, and forevermore, yours and yours only. I will love you forever; until death comes for us again, and even long after.

"Regina, you are so much to me - my soulmate, my true love, my significant other, my beautiful Queen - and I love you more than words can say. I love your light and dark, your past, present, and future. I love all of you, and I will stand beside you no matter what troubles come our way. I love you, Regina, and I cannot wait to begin our lives together forever."

Regina felt water drip from her eyes and slid down her cheek, and Robin lifted his hand to brush the tear away. Friar Tuck said a few more things before it was time for the fateful 'I do's.

"Do you, Regina Mills, take Robin Locksley to be your lawfully wedded husband? Do you promise to cherish him for better or for worse, for richer or for poorer, in sickness and in health, til death do you part?"

"I do," Regina said, gazing into Robin's eyes.

"Do you, Robin Locksley, take Regina Mills to be your lawfully wedded wife? Do you promise to cherish her for better or for worse, for richer or for poorer, in sickness and in health, til death do you part?"

"I do."

"By the authority vested in me by the town of Storybrooke and the land of Misthaven, I now pronounce you husband and wife." Regina glanced up the clock to read the time; 3:18 pm. She looked back at Robin, and it seemed like an eternity - but could only have been a few seconds - before Friar Tuck finished with, "You may kiss the bride."

Robin pulled Regina against him, neither one wanting to wait any longer for more physical contact than simply holding hands. Their lips collided in a soft kiss and the room erupted into applause. Snow and Emma were both screaming their lungs out, assuming they would be suffering from a sore throat the next day, but knowing the cost was well worth it. Regina smiled into the kiss and wrapped her arms around Robin's neck, not quite ready to let go.

"I love you, Regina Locksley," Robin used their soulmate telepathy to speak to Regina, not wanting to break apart yet either.

"I love you too, my wonderful husband."
