Delilah
This morning, walking into work. I was getting hella stares, um okay? I walked into my office and instantly started my paper work for this case.
Until, Leslie walked in, " Hey girl," I said.
" Hey girl? How come you ain't tell me, Steph was married?" She asked.
The fuq? I asked myself.
" What? How do you know that?" I asked.
" The whole world knows, it's all over the blogs!" She said, handing me her phone.
I gasped as I read the article, "Oh my gosh, who'd leak this? I know I kept my mouth shut."
" Matthew?" She asked.
" Nah, this is embarrassing for the both of us. My gosh, it mentions how I'm Matthew's baby mama, but screwing Stephen Curry, a married man with two kids," I said leaning in my chair.
I wanted to cry so bad. This isn't going to help me get my promotion and the media is going to come for Matty.
" Ms. Moore, Mrs. Curry is here wanting to talk to you," my co-worker, Kerry said.
" Let her in," I said, sitting up, while Leslie sat down.
" Why you still in here?" I asked,laughing.
" Staying in here, just in case that b!tch try something silly," she said.
I laughed and shook my head. Leslie, baw I tell ya, but that's my best friend. 💯
Ayesha walked in with her shades on, looking like most of these bougie ass basketball wives.
" Delilah," she said sitting down.
" Ayesha," I said blanking.
She looked at Leslie, " Who's this?"
" I'm Leslie, her best friend whom is down for anything. You are?" Leslie said.
" Ayesha, Stephen Curry's wife, obviously, but I want to talk to Delilah alone," she said.
Leslie looked at me, I nodded her in assurance that I'm good.
" I'm sure that you are aware of what's going in the blogs," she said.
" Yeah like five minutes ago, but I didn't say anything to.." I said before she cut me off.
" I know you didn't, I did, that's why I'm here," she said.
" Wait why did you leak it? When he specifically didn't want it to be leaked?" I asked looking like 😕.
" Delilah, Delilah, Delilah, I'm aware of my husband's affairs here and there and since they lost the championship, he's not in the media and neither am I, so why not leak it?" She said..
Okay she's beyond crazy. I would never do anything like that to just be in the spotlight.
( A/N: I know Steph and Ayesha marriage is very strong & she's nothing like this in real life. Just a book.😊 I love them.)
" Darling you have a lot to learn, especially being a basketball player's wife," she said.
" Matthew and I are strictly parents," I assured her, " and we're definitely not thinking about marriage."
" Girl please, Steph told me you told him, you and Matthew screwed one another. Let's face it, you still love that man and that's the reason why you ain't been with another every since you had those adorable little girls," she said.
I gasped at what she said, although she's a cocky b!tch, she was telling the truth. I do still love him, and that's why I waited all these years.
" I'm right, ain't I?" She asked.
" That's none of your concern, but I have business to tend to, thanks for the meeting. I guess," I said shrugging.
" I know I'm right and remember what I said," she said standing up.
I shook my head as she headed out. Leslie hurried back in.
" What the hell she wanted?" She asked.
I let her in on everything.

Matthew
I was at practice, doing a couple of our drills when someone tapped my shoulder.
I turned around and it was Amanda.
" What are?" I tried asking her before she slapped me across my face.
" I knew it, I knew it! It was that hoe from the grocery store, no wonder you've been acting strange every since. Really after all these years you do me like this? Ugh!" She said punching me.
I just stood there in disbelief, not know what the hell she was talking about.
Steph and Klay grabbed her off of me, as she was crying hysterically.
" Get off of me!" She yelled, pushing them away, " you will pay for this McKibben, remember that."
After that, she left, " Dude what the fuck?" I asked Steph.
" Dude somehow the news got leaked to the press and I know it damn sure wasn't me," he shrugged.
" What the hell? What news?"
" Delilah and I , you and her having kids," he rolled his eyes shrugging.
" Aye man, I gotta go! Coach I know I'll be out next game for this but I gotta go," I said grabbing my bag and running outside.
As I got closer, I heard a car horn. I walked to my car and there was a brick in my back window, I looked to my left and there it was Amanda with a smirk on her face, giving me the middle finger.
" Lord," I began to pray..
After praying, I hurried down to Delilah's job. Once I got there this lady asked for my name and whom I was coming to see?
I ignored her and went to her office.
" Sir you can't do that!" She yelled before calling security.
I opened the door and there she was. I walked up to her and hugged her, " Matthew?" She asked.
" Are you okay? I know how embarrassing this must be for you, Dyl. And I apologize I should've told you," I ranted and ranted.
" It's okay, I know. Ayesha did it, she came by and told me she did. Now can you put me down, I'm not even touching the floor in this hug," she giggled.
" So you're good?" I asked.
" I'm fine and I'm kinda happy it's all out. No more secrets," she shrugged.
I wanted to go in for a kiss right then and there, but I knew she specifically said just parents.
" And with Ayesha coming here, it made me think about something," she looked away tapping her desk.
" Wassup?" I asked, " look at me, Dyl."
" I can't just be your friend or just parents to our daughters with you. I love you, I'm.. in love with you Matthew." She said looking down.
I leaned her chin up with my thumb, " I'm in love with you too. I've never stop loving you." I said before kissing her. She jumped into my arms, wrapping her arms around my neck, deepening the kiss. Our tongues met with one another.
" Mmm Mmm!" Someone coughed with two security guards by their side.
" Oh Kerry, he's fine! You can put him down on my list for the people who can come in without paging me," she said winking at me.
I licked my lips, " Yes ma'am," Kerry said before leaving.
We both laughed, " Bye Kerry."
It's like the good ole days. 💘
